Siti's Post On "Die In Love For Not-wanters"

Dan,

I’ve been reading your last post a few times over and it has conjured up a variety of scriptures to my mind.

First off, I remember when I used to live contrary to the scriptures in my behavior, and disliked hearing everything about that holy man. My mother would always say, “Do you see that Lord? There goes YOUR disciple”.

A few decades have passed and I understand that she had to die to her five senses in order to gain her imagined wish. You wrote in your first paragraph, “Jesus found himself in this situation on the cross with regards to The Pharisees”...(which we are like when NOT in Him). “He loved them, FORGAVE them, prayed for them”, and DIED FOR THEM.” Because He died for us ONCE AND FOR ALL...”we just have to concentrate our love in imagining them right...in prayer”.

To imagine them right from within, we deeply deny the senses on the outside...”as unlovely they may be”...just nix the “unlovely” from your mind...you said.

It brings to my mind what was written in Deut.6:4-7a) “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord - the only Lord. 5. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your (mind and) heart, and with your entire being, and with all your might.” 6. And these words, which I am commanding you this day, shall be (first) in your own mind and heart; [then] 7. You shall whet and sharpen them, so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children..."

So Job’s mind and heart got placed in proper position when he came out of ignorance by listening to God’s (Word) and nixxed the words of the three friends who, by the way, were Esau’s son and relations. Job’s name, meaning “where is my father”, had found Him when he said, “I have heard of You in the hearing of the ear. But now my eye sees You. Therefore, I abhor myself, And repent (change my mind)..." (Job 42:5-6). Also reminds me of Jacob when he said, “For I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved” (Gen. 33:30b).

There’s nothing “woo” about any of this, that we understand or have yet to understand. We have eternity to come into becoming. I believe He’s just asking us to be willing...by faith, or as Neville would say, “Be loyal to the unseen realm”.

Siti

PS: In a sense we are disarming all contrariness upon the disciples/saints with the gift of His image and likeness that we are aware of and understand having within us.

Siti,

First of all, thank you. Our "death" is His death, and He died/dies for sinners, of whom we are chief. That is the oddness of the flip (see my next post). "When you take the place of another, you take the suffering of another, you have to walk every inch of it" --Rees Howells (Norman Grubb, Rees Howells: Intercessor, Cambridge: Lutterworth Press, (also Christian Literature Crusade), p. 128, 237ff). Christ took ours to the full. Loving, forgiving, we celebrate and die--we as Him--in remembrance of His taking theirs also. That is our new nature, also our original.

Die In Love For Not-wanters

I find I have been lax in prayer for people I love who do not want even to hear anything about God or religion or life-after-death or philosophy or anything spiritual or the Bible. "You can be around, just do not say anything about (any of the above)." Jesus found himself in this situation on the cross with regards to the Pharisees. He loved them, FORGAVE them, prayed for them--"unto this You destined me", and DIED FOR THEM. We do not have to die--He has been there, done that. We just have to concentrate our love in imagining them right in prayer.
__________________________________

Hi. I am back. As I was walking away from my desk I was asked, "How do you die?" You do the praying, the believing. As the late Rev. Jessie Mason said, "The only way to do it is to do it." You die to everything else--you hang up your life, give everything up--to pray for them, to love them. "As unlovely as they may be?" you ask. No. You nix the "unlovely" from your mind. THEY are worthy of your death, of your love and severity of prayer, your believing faith, for they are the Manifestation of God.

Now to DO it.

It Is Exciting: The Gap Is The Whole Thing

I have been feeling a bit euphoric lately. I came across an advertisement on YouTube that explained the quantum field(s) theory quite nicely. Its illustrations and graphics are enlightening. Better the moderator explain the fields than I, but I ask you to especially note in the discussion the "vacuum" and the source of causal energy from nothing but gravity. In short, energies from the least field(s) cause manifestations in the material field, and ALL the fields are one. The Source of all of the manifesting excitement is the vacuum, or as I would call It, the No-thing; and the fields are universally ubiquitous, kind of an everywhere soup-of-fields manifesting the vacuum's Consciousness. Do not be misled by the fields being portrayed in the illustrations as flat layers: all the dimensions are universal constants, if you would, in every direction.

Well, Providentially on the same night I stumbled upon another YouTube video which suggests, at least to my mind, that we--our minds--are inputs of the energy that the fields manifest into material realities. We imagine, the fields translate, and God becomes.

All of this is not "woo," but current top-flight scientific physics Nobel Prize laureates are working on. I remember the excitement not long ago about the discovery of the Higgs boson, the so-called "God particle." I believe that the natural order may turn out to be simply the expression of a Vacuum Who is a Person. How can that be? 'Scuse me, time for my face on the ground.

If "I Remember When" Is Of God, Where Is It In The Bible?

Excellent question. Siti asked if the principle of I Remember When might not be the cause of Job's final state of wealth at the end of the book. For God saw Job not as Job did. "Oh! that in Sheol Thou wouldest cover me; Conceal me, till Thine anger turn away; Fix me a time; and then remember me" (Job 14:13 Bullinger). I.e., see me as You would that I was in the future, and "there" remember me in this distant past.

Have this in mind: God knows us, but SEES us as He would have us, i.e., as HIM!! We cannot do the transition ourselves as apart from Him. All we can do is acknowledge, "I AM what You would have me; though that is not what I now seem to be. I submit to You—that I am, and as I was, remember Thou me." From God’s perspective, it (the entire universe) is all "I remember when."

Speaking of remembering, JOURNAL. "In B, I remember A." "In my new position (B), I remember when I wasn't (A)."

PS: Job points out that in seeing the future as the present, in "remembering when" we have to DIE to this present.

We Become Distance, So Repair The Past

I figure what I said in my last post--"distance becomes you"--probably went over heads. The Ineffable is to us "wholly other." It assumes something distant from It...and that is what we are: something It assumed. We are that distant thing. We assume something distant from us in "I remember when" (we being the conscious spirit in and using the body we are joined to), and that distant thing becomes us. The "thing" is always a state which becomes us as we become it--it is our manifestation called forth and created, caused, by our assumption of and into the distance. The thing is, this is CONSTANT; it is a running end. We are this moment "buying" the distance which will become us as we become it, just as this moment is the distance, the manifestation we purchased by our assumptions some time ago. "I remember when" gives us some steering control of this moving vehicle--choice. Choose well.

We can use "I remember when" for correction of what we hear. This is like the woman's telephone technique (Neville said some woman told him that when she heard some bad report, she reheard it in her mind as a good report she heard on the telephone, I think. I will have to look it up). "Our funds are low,"..."I remember when our funds were low." "I am quite ill,"..."I remember when you were quite ill." Our projection of the distance from which we remember is the desired solution. We imagine sufficient funds or the person (or ourselves) in great health as what we have become--our very real "present" reality, and remember from there this distant past. We and the distance are one, and we can constantly repair the present there...remembering this.

Distance Becomes You: Using "I Remember When"

Neville Goddard constantly enjoined us to "think from there," to imagine a scene that insinuates we have what we desire. From "here" to "there" is distance. That is what the "I remember when" technique given him by God achieves. Remembering now--the present--as though we are in the future we desire looking back, creates the distance we will become: from mind to manifestation, but one.

The Power Within--Oh! The Gap Is Within

"There is no need to analyze how this Power within you is going to accomplish your desires," says Roy Herbert Jarrett in It Works (1926, Camarillo, CA: DeVorss Publications, p. 14). The Power within us is the real person we are. It is our spirit, our mind, our pilgrim soul--the bit of God Who is inhabiting these bodies; i.e., God, YHWH. HE accomplishes our desires made known to US. "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart" (Psalm 37:4 KJV). The word LORD there is YHWH, which means He Becomes, or the Becoming One. (Sorry, but it does NOT mean I AM.) He, YHWH, has become us. If in our imaginations, which are Him, we delight in Him as we wish to become, He brings it to pass. So in a sense YHWH means He Has What I Wish To Have, or He Is What I Wish To Become.

YHWH, God, is the Power within us. He IS the Kingdom of God. Delight thyself in Him; i.e., know exactly what you want, and know that you HAVE it, because He is it. That is Mark 11:23b-26, "and he does not doubt* in his heart, except he believes that what he says shall happen, he shall have what he says. "Because of this, I am telling you, that whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you will receive, and it shall be given to you. And when you stand to pray, forgive what you have against people* (leave the thing that you have over the human being), so that your Father in heaven shall also forgive your foolishness. However, if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your foolishness" (Alexander). Delighting has to do with both forgiving and being forgiven by the Power within. Believe you HAVE, that you are past all the getting. Envision it is a done deal already.

The King Of Near Death Experiences

Literally. There are a lot of Near Death Experience (NDE) stories. What if the most devoted, anointed man ever had an NDE wherein he was given what Jesus was given in the Bible--literally eternity, the "reward" (euaggelion)? "Eashoa then the Lord..." (Mark 16:19 Alexander). Resuscitated after three days, validated he was real, and literally ascended physically like Enoch and Elijah. After what has happened to me, I believe it could have happened to Him.

Matthew 25:21 and 23 Alexander, "Enter In Your Master's Joy"

I heard a sermon on the radio while driving to Arizona. The preacher was teaching whatever, but this expression, “enter in your master’s joy,” clicked in my mind. "It means you get to keep it." What progress we make remains ours. We DO keep it--treasure in heaven (the mind)--when we die. It DOES go with us.

A Oneness Look At God

In Aramaic, the Godhead is Allahoota. That is the Father AND the Son AND the Holy Spirit as one being. These are T'lah Qnumeh, the Three Unities or Spirits of God. It occurs to me that ALLAHOOTA is that "Over the Flames," the meaning of the Hebrew word Elohim. Eashoa (Jesus)--Life-giver--is Its ATTITUDE, and the Holy Spirit is Its ACTION.

John 10:10 Alexander: Victor Agrees The Second Half Is Missing

The second half of John 10:10 was inadvertently dropped in Victor Alexander's translation from the ancient Aramaic. I asked Vic if the second half--"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" in the KJV--was in the Aramaic. He replied, "The KJV is correct. I skipped the line in my translation, if I did not translate it. I will have to add it when I publish my final version of my translation of the New Testament." So the second half of John 10:10 is supposed to be there. How it is to be translated we will find out. I do not expect any significant difference.

The Death Prick: Amnesia Of What We Really Are Is The Kiss Of Death From Mister...Ignorance

I do not know how, in what manner or in what form, we existed before being born on this earth. Whatever manner or form we were, that was Life, for we were one with God. Flipping from that divine existence to this carnal human consciousness, we became oblivious to our oneness with God, and we became aware--wrongly--that we are separate from God, a separate "creation." Two separate realities? That does not compute. The state of this wrong perception is "death." Amnesia of what we really are is the prick of death. The amnesia is of our being one with God, of our actually being God. We have adopted a false perception of being separate from God--and this idea of separation is the poison of death, of ignorance. We have been pricked, poisoned by amnesia--"ignoranced"--and dwell in a false mental conceptualization of our being separate, divided from God--that there is distance between Him and ourselves in this world. THAT was - and is - the Lie of Satan, the Ignorance of Amnesia. Its poison upsets the program.

And we HAVE fallen for it. We WERE amnesia-ed. THAT was the fall in the Garden, i.e., in our minds at birth. THAT is why we sense that we are "apart" from God (as if that were even possible!). If you are waiting for, praying for Christ's return, you will wait forever, for He has never left, and you are thinking that you are separate. Jesus could never ACTUALLY leave, for He is the reality of God becoming in us RIGHT NOW. Here. Now. all of this IS Him. It is our perception that has been made stupid, falsified. To repent is to put on another mind, to change from the false idea that we are separate from God to recognizing that we are not. This is the Bible's world, and Christ in it says, "Come unto Me." Doing so does not require any mode of transportation. It requires only humbling oneself before Him who is already WITHIN us in one's mind. "Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test" (Paul in 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV, and Neville Goddard in just about everything he wrote). Repentance is as simple as saying in one's mind, "Okay..." and really submitting to Him. Jesus Christ is the antidote to the poison of ignorance. He leads us to overcome the amnesia within us. "These things I write you so that you may know that you have Life eternal* (to the end of the universe), [you who] believe in these things in the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:13 Alexander, emphasis mine). It is not "shall have"; it is you who believe DO have. Believe it, and receive it.

God's Intelligence Is All

I was getting ready for bed one night, and I got to contemplating how everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, is actually the intelligence of God. By His intelligence He has become light, matter, and every form that there is. I was, and everything around me was...the intelligence of God. My imagination, all powers and forces, the course of everything, my breath and my life--ALL was the intelligence of God appearing as "this" that I saw and experienced all around me. I was stoked, almost stoned on the idea. I was suspended in it. I made my way to bed; very peaceful, except for the incessant ache in my shoulder from my neck's arthritis and bone spurs. As I lie down, I thought to say to the Intelligence, "You can heal me." By the time my head hit the pillow, all the pain was gone.

Can I show you my evidence? I can only witness to it. I hope this flattens someone's earth.

Said Siti:

Dan,

Regarding "The Evidence Of Witnesses Is Their Experience”:

“It should go without saying that...'the just live by faith,' or, 'He is who--It is what--we really are.'” --That sure is a long way from the “I never knew you” of Matthew 7:23. Until and unless we realize “the word is near you in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See I have set before you today life and good, death and evil...” (Deuteronomy 30:14-15), or as Paul would say “God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17b)...

Many of my coffee mates are going through aches and pains with a variety of joint replacements and take for granted (Dan's edit--incorrectly) what God’s word says and means. Of course their perspective is contrary to mine. Their greatest need for prayer is over their minds regarding biblically-correct thinking. When they ask me to pray for them, I discuss the issue of correct belief in thinking and have them ponder those scriptures.

One man has overcome cancer, and another multiple heart attacks, and this morning one overcoming the cries of his flesh after knee replacement determined to walk...I call that having church!

I have been healed, and I have seen others healed. I have always marveled that skeptics are not there to see the miracles that openly occur. God puts on a convincing act for those so humble as to look. Refusing to humble oneself, refusing to open-mindedly look--the blaspheme of the Holy Ghost? I think so.

Luke 7:27 The Messenger Shows Us That This Is The Bible's World, That This World, This Earth, Actually IS As God SAYS It Is

"Behold, I shall send my angel* (messenger) and he shall dry* (rub or lay) out the path before me, and out of the calm he shall come to the Lord's temple, that which you hold on to and the resurrecting angel* (messenger) that you yearn for, behold, he shall come," said the Almighty Lord" (Malachi 3:1 Alexander). "Such is written about him, that, 'Behold, I shall send my angel to [stand] before your face, so as to provide the path before us'" (Luke 7:27 Alexander). Note that the Almighty Lord says "us" in Luke 7:27, not "you" as in every other translation. He...is us.

We (our minds) are the Lord's temple, the place of YHWH's action. The Almighty is there(!!)...despite our delusion of this world being separate from Him. We, nevertheless, are an "us." And His part of us flattens the earth--rubs out the delusion, as it were, to get us to see that this world really is as the Bible says it is--in the palm of the Almighty, wholly subject to Him.

THE. WORLD. HAS. BEEN. REDEEMED. We are back to square one, as if the fall (the flip from Divine thought into the fleshly human perspective) had never taken place. We are forgiven, whether we believe and receive it or not. But we can only take advantage of it IF WE WILL BELIEVE AND RECEIVE THIS WORLD AS THE BIBLE'S WORLD. Please do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit by refusing to believe it and refusing to love because of it. “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” Just believe--"The just LIVE by faith" (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38--I guess God is trying to get the point across).

Even if you do not see it, believe it. Your evidence is your experience...in the Bible's world, not this one.

...The Evidence of WITNESSES is their EXPERIENCE

It should go without saying that...

To Assume Is To Call Into Existence, For This Is What The Divine Consciousness Does, As It Is Not Separate From Us, But IS Us(!): This Fact Is What We Have Got To Realize, Comprehend, Accept, And Actualize--This For Me Is The Real Meaning Of "Positive Confession"

Evidence: God Personally DOES Something That Proves That He Is...

(Siti's response...)

...when you begin to feel a little “spooky” because it’s you...in Him, and you begin to understand who you really are.
___________________________

(I was going to continue...)

...in response to a human assumption.

So, what is it evidence of? One, that He is there and that He is powerful. Two, that the assumption is known by Him.

Neil Tyson as a scientist might object: "No, it does not prove that there is a third party. The something done would not necessarily be a response to our assumption, but rather an extension of it. It is agreed that we in our assuming are the initiating stimulus for what results. The causal relationship does nor require a separate actor, but would be in-house, as it were--an inherent outcome. We assume, and that by and of itself is the power causing the resultant something we perceive as a "response."

Exactamundo, Mister Tyson (if you had said it). By the evidence we discover that "God" is our own, wonderful, HUMAN imagination. For we, and everything else, are one. "God" is not a separate actor who responds to our assumptive stimuli. It is the Power our consciousnesses are of. We are Its conscii. He is who--It is what--we really are. God is not in us like an egg is in a chicken; He is "in" us because He has become us. We are all one whole. That fact is sitting in the Gap, and it is worthy of investigation.

The evidence of witnesses is their experience.

A Kind Note From Siti: This Is The Real Bible Reality We Really Are In--Thrust Your Head Thusward

Dan,

Regarding your last post in your last paragraph...my sentiments exactly. I was reminded of Exodus 14:15-16 of Norman Grubb's Authority of the Believer. The "children of Israel" are our desires and beliefs, "the sea” is the world of "facts" contrary to our beliefs which surrounds us; "divide it" is to put our belief in the sea of contrary facts by faith and create our desired world within it (from your post of October 31, 2021).

No rapture...but, "Your kingdom is come. Your will is done, as in heaven (mind/imagination) so also on the earth (body/world)" (Matthew 6:10 Alexander, parentheses Siti/me/Grubb/Neville/etc.). Like you said, "it’s our eternal destiny."

Siti

PS: Exodus 14:16 “And raise your staff and thrust your hand against the sea and divide it and let the Children of Israel enter the sea AS IF IT IS DRY LAND” (Alexander, emphasis Siti's).

The Cryptic I: My Oneness Theology

Asked by my then pastor Rod Wilson (1975, Kaimuki), I contemplated what Jesus had done for me. Rod meant 'this week,' but in my imagination I saw Jesus tethered to posts being scourge with cat-o-nine-tails by Roman soldiers. With no injunction but that he not die yet, his back was torn open like hamburger. Released from the tethers, he was made to bear the rough-sawn cross to Golgotha. Going into shock, he fainted along the way. He was dying, and I was crying. At Golgotha he was made to lay his sore back on the cross, and his arms were extended to be nailed to the cross. Looking over at me, he said--audibly in my physical brain, "Come unto me."

The question at this point is, "What was 'me'?" Of course, 'me' was Jesus Christ, but what was he? He was, first of all, my imagination. Everyone thinks that in John 8:24 Jesus said, "if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." I.e., that Jesus (I) was God (He). In Aramaic, the language Jesus actually spoke, he said, [unless] you believe that I am I, you shall die in your sins." I.e., that you and I are God's 'I'. That is a world of difference! Yes, he is YHWH, God, the Becoming One, AND he is our imaginations. God is All-in-all. "Come unto me" means to come to our imagination, unto God, YHWH, Eil Shaddai, for from there we--His Manifestation--become what He has imagined.

Read the good, read His promises, imagine them APPLIED:

"They then went out, and preached every place, and the Lord helped them and began filling them with signs that they performed" (Mark 16:20 Alexander).

Might not this mean that they went out in imagination and preached, i.e., imagined every place they intended, and Maryah helped them apply his promises, and began filling them with manifestations, evidence of what they had in imagination performed. Why not, for this is our eternal destiny?

No Fearful Visions: Do Not Let False Prophets Create Fear In You

Which may be like saying, "Do not listen to your pastor, or YouTube." "The collapse has begun! The end is here. This is the End-times. So-and-so is the anti-Christ. This is the mark of the beast. Store up food and gold. Ammo--you are going to need plenty of ammo. Oh, the humanity!"

Read and believe God's Word. I read Victor Alexander's translations of the ancient Aramaic and Bullinger's The Companion Bible (KJV). I hate the KJV, but Bullinger unscrews it up. Besides, when you do know what God means by what is in the KJV, there is your exclamation of faith. For yourself, imagine good.

Visions of Buzzy Dingle

I went to Melodyland School of Theology in the 1970's. I noticed how influential television watching was to my Christian walk. That it was negative, not for good. But I had the boob-tube on, and was watching Danny Kaye's movie "Wonder Man." Right at the end, Danny Kaye's head (as Buzzy Dingle's ghost) pops up out of a box like a Jack-in-the-box, and Kaye says coquettishly, "I'm a little devil, ain't I?" Right. Seductive and evil. Apply it to your electronic device. Do not let it make your vision, your creation of your future--it's a little devil. Manage your visions.

Siti's Evidence

I had the book, Evidence That Demands A Verdict. I saw the author's presentation in the 1970s. Had a couple of copies of both volumes. I gave them away, because for me they provided no evidence at all for God or Jesus. For me there is only one legitimate evidence; it is when miracles happen in direct response to something here. I.e., it is when the Divine Guy ACTS, or rather, REACTS manifestly. Real, valid evidence of God is when God demonstratively alters our reality by displaying His.

I do not mean to pick on Neil deGrasse Tyson, but he has become the spokesperson for the natural order. "Things happen for which we have no explanation. That we cannot explain how and why it happened does not mean it was a miracle. It simply means we are ignorant of the scientific reasons behind how and why it happened," I paraphrase him as saying. He is a champion of the "God-of-the-Gaps" dismissal of religion. "That a boy falls down in a fit foaming at the mouth does not mean he has a demon. It means he has epilepsy. They did not know that then, but we know it now." Wrong miracle, Neil. The point was that the boy was healed instantaneously when the demon was dismissed by Jesus in response to petition by the boy's father. "Please, Sir, if you can..." BAMM!! There you go, the demon is gone. The ignorance is that Tyson doesn't know what a demon is. It is our ignorance, Neil. The father ignorantly allowed for the epilepsy to exist. He was unclear on the concept.

We are to elect our thoughts. "Self-control." "Think on these things, not those." A clean life inwardly. Guard your mind with all diligence. This is a lesson far too many learn far too late, because the church does not know what the hell it is doing (an unfortunate, literal truth). Siti was born to saints, reared in a devoted family-church. (Why do I hear so many people crying?) She BELIEVES what the Bible says through its symbolism. She does not fill her mind with visions from the world, but from God's reality. This IS the Bible's world. Christ is in you. We are in and of the One True God, and GOD HASN'T BEEN KIDDING. So Siti thinks, and so is Siti's world. THAT is her evidence. And if you will look around, so is it your evidence. As you have thought, so is your world. You think the world is this way, and so it is. Siti thinks the world is that way, God's real reality, and so it is. This is the evidence of the Holy Ghost. Do not blaspheme Her, for Hers is the evidence that demands a verdict.

Life is a high-stakes game of Choose-A-Vision. For what you choose, you will become (you virtually are, right now). That is the cost of being God, which, like it or not, you are. Life is the Consciousness of the Ineffable. If you want to change what you are, change what you think. Watch your inputs! Idols are spider-biting demons. Cull bad inputs and cultivate good ones. Pick up that Bible, learn the languages, go to Bible studies, watch out for cults and stupidos (stupidoes?), learn to assume (read a lot of Neville Goddard), be kind. Recognize that you are living in the shadow of the Almighty, Eil Shaddai. Listen to Him.

Siti's Election

Here is the thing: I (Dan Steele) was raised an ignorant, naive dork in the suburbs east of Los Angeles. No father around, mother worked--pretty much a loner. Born in the first half of the previous century, I came of age just in time to be a 1960's hippie and join the Navy to evade the draft. Influenced by Eastern religions and the occult in the early 70's, I got into metaphysics. In Honolulu, Hawai'i, in a meditation, I encountered a "fer real" demon--a deceiving spirit. In my new jargon, I realized I had been spider-bit. I went forward to get saved at the House of Praise, a kind of communal Youth-With-A-Mission/ Assemblies of God outreach to the likes of me. Walking back to my seat, I had moment of lucidity. I saw the world I had lived in with everyone's understanding of how it worked, the science we had all learned from school and experience and "normal" expectations. This was the world we all live in, eventually die in--the world we "see" when we look through our natural eyes.

And here is the thing I said, "Here is the thing" about: I saw that this world is not real. It is an illusion. I mean, it is really here, but we are all wrong about it. It is in another game than the one we all think it is in. There is something else that is going on. We think gravity and the natural course of things, physics and all that; while in reality it is under God's guidance for His purposes. We think happenstance and coincidence around us; while in reality God is orchestrating His becoming manifest in and through us. He really is in control. We just do not recognize it.

"Life stinks!" says Mel Brooks in his movie by that name. No, no. That is the old, wrongly perceived reality we grew up in, the illusion we all presently live in in delusion. In real reality there is the life of God, what He is doing. That is the life, the reality I entered when I was saved: I saw that this earth is, in the real reality, the Bible's world. Oh, look, there is Siti's street.

Siti knows we have to fight for the reality we choose to live in. Living in that reality is our CHOICE, our ELECTION by what we believe. Said She, "I threw the tv out many years ago. I do not allow the world in through a box to tell me a vision; only God has that position and privilege" (my paraphrase). "I really feel that reading God's word, Neville’s work and your blogs are important to me...not just to be read but to be doing, put "into practice" in my thinking, pondering, and praying. That is how things of this world--or rather my negative thoughts about it--get pushed out of my being, how I overcome my flesh, if you will" (again my paraphrase and emphases).

"It is my continued desire to live and dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty, utilizing my mind to love my neighbor as myself. Maybe that sounds too much like Brother Lawrence, but I do not lead a monastic life as traditional thinking goes." "'Biblically correct thinking is thinking like God, as God, with purpose and expectation of effect.' --That is what I do each evening before bed and each morning when I wake up. I use the scriptures twice a day that you mentioned in your post of November 18, 2019."

I have a lot of links on that page. My point in this is, as I said, that we have to fight--make a choice, an enforced election--establishing which reality we as Christians believe we actually are in. "The just live by faith," said the prophet Habakkuk (2:4). That means there is an alternative. "Life stinks!" is the sad reality of those who are not saved. That is the reality we do not want, so we choose to not let our thoughts dwell on it, except to pray for what it ought to be. Most people do not know how to get out of delusion and into the real, manifesting-God reality. How can they elect what they do not even know what is?

Get saved. Believe that God is the Consciousness of the Unknowable, and Jesus Christ is that Consciousness becoming manifestly expressed--that we are connected with that. That we are in fact that. For THAT is the thing: It is all ONE. That is, the Unknowable, Its Consciousness, Jesus Christ, and all us bumpkins--are all one organic unit. THAT is Deuteronomy 6:4. In eternity the Whole is becoming. We are on board and in the process, else we would not even exist. Existence means we are Him. Election starts with accepting, surrendering, and submitting. The genuinely humbled, contrite heart is accepted and imbued with the Life of the new reality, the real reality it is to conform to. And there you go in the Pentecostal reality...electing the reality you live in.

Bits and Pieces

I think it simply boggles our minds that God comes in bits and pieces. I mean, He or It is all that there is; the Ineffable is a force--field-like, like a medium. Yet It is "break-down-able" to existence as individual, distinct, discreet-units and components. Waves of power and quantum particles; which is He? He's both. Atomic forces and furniture; which is He? He's both. God-of-the-Gaps (ignorance) and all that is known of scientific knowledge; which is He? He is both.

"Oh no. I am not God, and you are not God. God is 'wholly other.'" Yes, yes He is; and He is this, too. He is His part, He is our part, and He is the Holy Spirit between our parts. T'ain't nothing that isn't Him...or are you calling God a liar?

Siti In Serenity

Dan,

You said "He is all - ALL - within your own wonderful being." "God is not JUST the imagination within us; He is all that we are." The verse that came to me was, "Love the Lord your God with All your heart, with All your soul, with All you strength" (Deut.6:5). I think about what that means for me, and what needs to be changed for that to be.

Another verse that came to me...and often does, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God" (Phil.2:5-6).

These verses are very powerful and I take them seriously as I think and meditate on them much throughout the day. In doing so as a habit, my mind/thoughts are more controlled in the direction of prayer for myself, individuals/situations rather than judgements or negative thinking.

There are a couple of Bible studies I attend each week. In these sessions people have questions about what they read, some don’t understand what they are reading...others do and share their insights, which is what interests me. Often times there are "open doors" for response or further discussion. It’s in these settings that I notice changes in me in how I respond and what my attitudes are towards people, when I apply the verses above.

I have no responsibilities except myself and the property I have and live on. My main priority is God's Word, for that allows me to have the life I live. So, two Bible studies a week and a daily gathering of coffee mates in the early hours of the morning.

I really feel that reading His word, Neville’s work and your blogs are important to me...not just to be read but be doing, put "into practice" thinking/pondering/praying. That is how things of this world or rather my negative thoughts about it get pushed out of my being...overcoming my flesh if you will. I can sleep well at night and stay healthy fasting 1-2 days week, eat clean to live.

I threw the tv out many years ago. I do not allow the world in through a box to tell - me - a - vision, only God has that position/privilege. You can get the "gist" of what you need to know of this world for the purpose of prayer/Imagining.

I did mention the veil...I have been a missionary in other lands as well where I experienced God making visible and invisible as He wishes.

With each passing day, week, month and year, it’s my continued desire to live and dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Utilizing my mind to love my neighbor as myself...may be that sounds too much like "Brother Lawrence," but I don’t lead a monastic life as traditional thinking goes.

I read your post of May 1, 2008 where you said "It is about God becoming into this dimension, generating his likeness in this 'body' of his. This 'body' is his image in the process of becoming like him." "God speaks to us in images...the Word is an image." You also said, "Biblically correct thinking is thinking like God, as God, with purpose and expectation of effect." That is what I do each evening before bed and each morning when I wake up. I use the scriptures twice a day that you mentioned in your post of November 18,2019, those scripture for maintaining well being.

This is how I live/create with God’s Word most of eight hour day. Perhaps that is too limited or disciplined for people to do, but for me it works to see and feel the results of being content in my "skin," not being on any medications or having a calendar with medical appointments. Doing what I do is how I perceive "God becoming in this dimension."

The bottom line to all this for me is faith...daily submitting to his word with all and persistent regardless of what my flesh thinks or wants. Ups and downs I have but less frequent.

I can hear what my dad used to say: "Do you have the 'guts' to believe THAT?"

Siti

PS: Forgive me if I seem to wander off the trail. There is so much to say regarding your question and could go into part 2,...however, I usually write when the 'urge'/spirit hits. I have never written anything like this before; responding to your blog post...it is all new to me. Recently, a person whom I have known years ago reconnected, and from time to time we write back and forth. I like the idea of responding to your posts when the urge strikes, that is comfortable for me.

And I for one, Siti, cannot thank you enough for writing this and all your other comments. You remind me of Victor Alexander's translation of Matthew 6:11-12, even 13, from the ancient Aramaic:

11. "Give us the bread for our daily need.
12. "And leave us serene, just as we also allowed others serenity.
13. "And do not pass us through trial, except separate us from the evil one.

That, and, "...might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). What He came for is what you've got. "Nice life if you can get it, and you can get it if you try."

And thank you for Philippians 2:5 and 6. Made me realize I have been misreading it for almost five decades:

5. Contemplate this within yourselves, just as Christ,
6. Who was in the likeness of God, did not think it a sin that He did not assume God's manner,

Wow!! I always read it as the human being Jesus not thinking it a sin to consider Himself equal with God. It was just the opposite -- the pre-incarnate 'Christ' Jesus not thinking it a sin to NOT consider Himself equal with God, "Except He reduced himself and consecrated himself to be a servant and was born in the likeness of human beings" (v. 7). The God-of-the-Gap on this side now. It was the invasion of the Gap Guy! Now here we are as humans. Thank God He did what He came to do.

Siti In The Trees

Dan,

I’ve been reading "The Secret of Imagining" daily for the last few weeks and have found it to be very strengthening within. This also has led me to really think about what and how I think.

This truly is a process that has been dominating my time throughout the day. I found pg. 8 in yesterday’s (Oct. 6) post interesting, as well as pg. 9 (edit: in referenced pdf). It made me more acutely aware/conscious of how serious the Lord is about His Word in us/Him. That we are constantly confronted with the choice of how we eat and from which tree we eat.

I have the sense...which I’m experiencing, that this way of life or living is truly separating me from the things that He sees to be irrelevant for me in my daily contact. It’s like a veil is covering me and no one sees me...which is good. Or... I’m only "doing what the Father tells me."

Perhaps I’ve grown to another level or depth of the inner reality; it’s one that I like. Everyday in the morning, a sense of His "revealing" within me is so wonderful that I have to write these things down to keep it in my thoughts, and ponder them over time.

When He reveals Himself, scriptures come to mind and things begin to make sense...understanding of why scriptures say what it says become so personal to me that it raises confidence and faith in who I know, that dwells within.

The process alone is "blowing my mind," let alone the results of doing this.

I am very grateful of having this understanding which I wouldn’t have, had I not come across Neville’s work or your blogspot for the outworkings of Neville’s work.

This journey has brought such understanding within, when I read the book of Joshua...it’s not just knowing a few scriptures the book is known for, but understanding the depth and concept of overcoming or possessing from within...the tree of Life, while in the midst of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Siti,

I hope I have not changed any of your meaning with my slight edits to your email. I find it wonderful that somebody - anybody - might be helped by what I write. It is you I wish to learn from. You see, this really is your life. You're a natural at it. I am a student: I write about what I learn, not what I do. I know, obviously, what to do, but I really am not good at doing it. I know that many of our readers would love to know just what it is that you are doing--what your practice is of "doing what the Father tells me." You really ought to have your own blog to explain and coach us along. If you would rather write to me and have me post it, it would be my pleasure and honor (you are under no obligation; this is just a suggestion). --"What are you doing? Let us sit at your feet."

I reread page 9 in The Secret of Imaging as you mentioned and caught this from Neville: "He is all within your own wonderful being as your own wonderful human imagination." News: "He is all"--ALL--"within your own wonderful being." God is not JUST the imagination within us; He is all that we are. (Time for face flat on the ground.) There is no separation...ANYWHERE, OR IN ANYTHING. God is always All-in-all. THAT has to become our consciousness. You are way ahead of us.

I hope all will read and reread Neville Goddard's lecture, "The Secret of Imagining" (July 20, 1970). The scriptures tell us of two trees, the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It is one tree: the Tree of Life bears the fruit of truth and error. Here, in this spider hole, as the Tree of the Knowledge (Experience) it bears good and evil. We eat of this tree, and then eat of that tree. Same tree, just different levels thereof. And no, there isn't a tree there; IT'S JUST US.!! Bon appétit.

PS: Regarding the veil, that reminds me of stories missionaries have told of hostile groups coming to destroy them. Meeting the group on the trail between them, the hostiles walked right by them, like they weren't even there. Not that yours are hostile; it's just that God makes visible as He wishes, and invisible as He wishes. That is my God-in-the-gap, Neil.

PPS: According to the Greek, as there is no object at the end of John 1:18, the passage MUST be translated (applying the principle to the Aramaic): "No human [being] ever saw Allaha, except for the only born Allaha, He who existed in the bosom of his Father, [Who] revealed" (John 1:18 Alexander, italics mine; see Job 33: 23-24).

Okay, okay. Job 33:23-24 Bullinger (The Companion Bible): "Then, then, He speaks with him by Messenger Who can interpret; - One 'mong thousands chief, Who will reveal to man HIS righteousness. Then He doth show him grace [Divine, and saith]: - 'Deliver him from going down to death; A Ransom I have found--Redemption's price.'"

I.e., "[Who] revealed."

Original Spider Hole, Bite, And Solution

I descended down a ramp where the large, grey, concrete block had been. I entered a dimly lit compartment like the Renshaw's (my ship in the Navy) command center. I came upon a flat expanse of earth, of fine mud. The outline of a man appeared in the mud, and an invisible scoop pressed in at the line and spooned out the figure of a man. He was just mud, and was deposited/ placed before me, the expanse of earth behind him. I watched entranced as the mud was transformed into bones, muscles, organs, nerves, blood vessels, skin, and hair. It became a perfectly formed human being. And then it was given life. It breathed. Its eyes could see. I wondered, "What does it think, seeing things for the first time, with never having had any thoughts before? How does this register? What can it comprehend?"

The mudman turned and looked out across the plain of the earth to hills in the far distance. This was especially weird, because I was underground. Yet the sun was high in the sky, and the man said, "This is earth. The sun will set, and it will get cold. I need to find shelter in those hills." How he knew these things, I do not know. How I heard what he thought, I do not know. The mudman took off walking toward the hills, and I as an invisible unit of imagination followed him, listening to his thoughts and imagining what he must be seeing through his eyes. We entered a forest at the base of the hills. Safety from wild animals was foremost in his thoughts. "Can I build a fort-like structure among the trees sufficient to protect myself?" he wondered. "Can I find a cave in the hillside that doesn't already have a wild beast in it?"

I did not notice when it sealed, but his thoughts became my thoughts, and his sight became my sight. I transitioned from listening to his thoughts to talking to myself as I looked around. I was scurrying around the hills and the forest, looking for a safe place to bed, firewood to stay warm with, and for food to eat. I caught myself thinking, "Should I gather firewood or food first? How do I know what is safe to eat if I have never seen food before? Should I gather food to eat first, or plant what I find to have food in the future?"

That was the idea, the sentence that hit me like a two-by-four up alongside the head. Emotionally, it was akin to terror, fear, and regret. For I had an epiphany of what I was doing--I was using the life I had been given by God entirely for my own purposes, entirely under my own command. As I wanted, I did. But it wasn't my life--it was GOD's life. He must have had a purpose in mind when He had given it to me. What had He expected me to do? Well, THAT was lost, because I had absconded with His life. I was a thief, a rebel: I had stolen God's life. I had not even said, "Thank you," to God for the life He had given me. I had not even given a THOUGHT to God. Yet now I realized that He had not given me life for ME; He had given me life for HIM!

The magnitude of my error overwhelmed me. I think I was physically shaking. I was dizzy, desperate, confused, and frightened. I couldn't give God the last twenty-five years of His purpose for making me--I had already spent it. I had lorded over "my" life as though it were really mine. THE VENOM WAS KILLING ME. How could I make it up to God? The only option I had was to surrender to God, submit to Him thoroughly, and "un" everything I had done. Then wait to see what He would do.

That moment I learned what God had sent me into the occult for: I cast my self-control, my self-lordship out of myself. I could never had done that in the manner I did without the training I had received at the metaphysical school. I cast my self-control out of myself, and the Holy Ghost caught me. Else I would have fallen onto the floor like a blob of Jello. With no self-control to hold me up, I was suspended in His arms. I envisioned myself kneeling, surrendered at a great felled pine high in the mountains, and His Glory spreading across the sky like aspenglow. I dared not look up, but said, "You are Glorious God. I am a mudman. Whatever You want me to do. I will do." Then I shut up and waited.

After awhile, I heard the softest of voices: "Remember this, and it is all right." I was forgiven! Accepted!! In my joy and gratitude and appreciation, He filled me with the Holy Ghost, with Him controlling my body in the speaking of a language I otherwise did not know. My spider bite was healed.

You Stuck Your Hand Into A Spider Hole And Got Bit: On The Monster In Neville Goddard's "The Secret Of Imagining"

"There is a dark hole with webs in it. If you stick your hand into it, you get bit by a spider. Then you have its venom in you, and you have to live with its effects. If you do not want to have the effects of a spider bite, DO NOT STICK YOUR HAND INTO A SPIDER HOLE!!" Such advice God may have given Adam.

Movies, novels--"entertainment"--are awash with this stuff: unintended and inescapable consequences. "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." Why is the theme so common? It's nature's way of telling you something's wrong. LISTEN UP.

A spider hole: you have the opportunity to do something you shouldn't do. You do it, it goes south, and you can't extricate yourself from it. IT NOW IS YOUR LIFE. Shouted from the rooftops. This is the Hebrew word hayah: it is what you have become.

Wisdom is a precious child in Proverbs chapter 8: "I (wisdom) was happy with His (God's) entire universe, and I would be glorified through humanity, because the children do listen to me; blessed are they who guard my ways. They hear my instructions and become wise, and they are not lost. Blessed are the human beings who listen to me, and are vigilant at my gates everyday, and those who guard the thresholds of my doors, because my outpourings are the issuance*/issuings of [eternal] Life, and they are the will of Maryah (YHWH). And those who sin against themselves are ejected and all those who hate me are the lovers of death" (Proverbs 8:31-36 Alexander, parentheses mine). This child is the "eternity" God put into the heart of every son of man (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Neville, like Adam, stuck his hand down the spider hole of selfish imagination (see "The Secret of Imagining," page 8 of 12 in the pdf). He saw the monstrous creature of evil it created in him. Neville says he pummeled it until he realized, "Hey, Wait a minute. This is me, "the complete embodiment of every misused moment of my life." He had created and fed the monster HIS LIFE WAS as its venom worked. Neville realized that the monster had no other father than HIM. He had given it birth by his own misuse of the power God had given to him. ONLY. NEVILLE. WAS. AT. FAULT. Neville repented and devoted himself to redeem the monster he had created by sticking his hand down the spider hole. The Tree of Life is also the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and we all have been sidetracked and misled by the knowledge of good and evil--this world--to ignore the Tree of Life it is of in that world (which we are also of).

When the light bulb went on and Neville devoted himself to redeem the monster he in his ignorance had created, it dissolved. Poof! Gone. "Oh," Neville realized. "My combat of Good and Evil in his world produced that monster. There is another combat, between Truth and Error, in the Tree of Life. 'As above, so below.' Let me now confront Error in the Tree of Life as I confronted Evil in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil." His false concept of God--Poof! No more God outside himself*. No god of gold. No idols to trust. Just the One--the Imagination of the ineffable Most High: "That is Me."

Got bit in another spider hole? You have got to watch out--there are a lot of them! Same out: you are to blame! Project God's beauty, love, and goodness. The heresy of the world is that God is separate.

The Jesus Frame Of Mind

From J. B. Phillips Your God Is Too Small (1961 N.Y.: The Macmillan Company p. 105 [p. 76 of 92 in linked pdf]) we get that the sin against the Holy Spirit is a combination of one's refusal to recognize the truth (of the oneness of the All) and refusal to allow the heart to love because of it. As in "there is no monetary value in sentiment" (from the movie "We're No Angels"). The truth of the oneness of the All is what Jesus refers to (in my opinion) in Thomas 5, "Know what is in thy sight" (Guillaumont). It is the truth which sets us free. "Do not lie" to yourself about the oneness; "and do not do the things you hate" (even in imagination), "for all things are manifest before Heaven" -- and YOU will be making bad things happen.

The Jesus frame of mind is "I am making it all. I am its cause, its creator. It is all up to me." With humility and surrender to the Father we are. Yes, that is weird, but it is what the All is.

So be careful what you think and say and do. Watch what you sing, what fills your mind when you are not really thinking--your idle thoughts and words. Method actors often wind up living their roles. Blues singers often have blue lives. The violent receive violence. Paul and Ringo seem to be having a pretty good time.

PS: Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Siti said she made her own artwork "Your God Is Too Small" sign to put where she will see it and remind herself, "Your God is still too small."

Correction from Siti:
Dan, Regarding your latest post of October 1. Just want to let you know that I do not have a sign hanging anywhere that says “Your God Is Too Small”-- must be someone else. I do, however, have a sign that says, “The Lord’s Portion", taken from Deuteronomy 10:9 and 32:9. It was what my dad wanted...a sign with those words on it...so I made him one. Good article!

Siti,

"Jacob (man's inner man, the imagination) is the lot* of His inheritance" (Deuteronomy 32:9b, parenthesis mine; * Bullinger's note: lot = line. Fig. Metonymy (of Cause), because the inheritance was allotted by a cord or line). Your father was way ahead of us, as he knew the package we are of.

And thanks.

Dan Steele

PS: It was Cheryl, back in October of 2021, who said, "Good Morning Dan, I am going to take you up on your suggestion to make a sign and place at eye level "My God is too small."
