Scars as Gifts to Remind

I sent the link to Norman Grubb's two and a half page article, "The Authority of the Believer," to Siti, via e-mail. She responded with reference to Exodus 14:15-16, which Grubb used in his article: "And the Lord said to Moses, 'What are you doing kneeling to pray before me? Tell the Israelites to carry on, and raise your staff and thrust your hand against the sea and divide it, and let the Children of Israel enter the sea as if it is dry land'" (Alexander):

Dan

I recall this verse that Norman Grubb used in “The Authority of Believer,” somewhere in either your blog or Neville’s talk*.

The “children of Israel” are our desires and beliefs, “the sea” is the world of “facts” contrary to our beliefs which surrounds us; “divide it” is to put our belief in the sea of contrary facts by faith and create our desired world within it. (Ed. - Isn't this exactly as the unedited version of John 16:23-24? Listen from 4:15, closer at 8:30.)

This was refreshing to see and gave me clarification to focus from within, believing in “the end.”

I met Norman Grubb in 1977 in Temple City, California, at a Lutheran church where he was the Sunday evening guest speaker. I remembered him to be in his late seventies and when he spoke, for me he was difficult to understand. I do not recall what his message was.

At the time in the ‘70’s the “Charismatic Movement” was in full swing. Many were filled with the Spirit and speaking in tongues. The Lutherans and the Methodists were worshipping together along with some Chinese believers, as I recall...in this little church in Temple City.

My parents gave me a pamphlet on the authority of the believer; they were very emphatic about knowing who you are in Christ. Everything “churchianity” began to disappear, to this day.

I can remember when I was alone in the kitchen washing some dishes, and staring out the window and suddenly this overwhelming joy was upon me and in me, and I began to speak words in a flowing manner that I had never heard come out of my mouth. It was beautiful and overwhelmingly strong at the same time. So much so that I broke a drinking glass in my hand that I was washing. The water in sink turned red but I didn’t feel to have a care in the world. As it turned out it was just a minor little cut on the thumb, a scar that to this day reminds of THAT day.

Very interesting gifts: scars that remind. Stigmata, branding marks. Saints have scars: "How long, O LORD?" (Revelation 6:10). In Galatians 6:17 Paul reminds us that he had scars all over the place. Jesus, famously on His hands, feet, and in His side.

It was Norman Vincent Peale I heard the other day share an old legend, that Peter finally fled the persecution in Rome. On the road leading away from the city he looked up, and there was Jesus walking toward Rome. As Jesus passed him by, Peter said, "Lord, where are you going?"

"To Rome, to be crucified again." Peter, of course, followed Him.

I am trying like heck to remember where I just heard, "Resist not evil by force." Maybe I will update when I remember.

My Key to Bible Study: Aggressively DISPROVE What You Have Proved and "Believe,” Keep What You Cannot Disprove

Cheryl Craig asked for suggestions on how to study the Bible. God reminded me of one of my main principles (see title above) by allowing me to "prove" to myself the two essays I posted last night, October 29th, 2021: "Matthew 7:23 - The Coming Fire and What Christians are Saved From," and "The Fire of Second Peter: the Depraved's Dissolution of Being, of Both Man and Mirroring Manifestations." Perhaps you read them here yesterday. Forget them. While I was away from any way to correct my madness, He showed me where and how I was wrong. Awk! Getting home, I quickly reread my sources and put the posts back into draft for major rewriting.

Where I was wrong was in seeing the Fire of Dissolution as a singular historical event with physical consequence -- the literal-historical view of the church. Neville Goddard (in "Eschatology - The Doctrine Of The End") and Scripture say that the Fire and its effect is individual and an ongoing PSYCHOLOGICAL event. In my initial epiphany I had seen a point in time when God would eliminate from existence, even from His memory, all the depraved and profane population of earth who refused to repent.

Dingbat, that had been ME when I asked Jesus for the gift of tongues in Hololulu, Hawaii, in 1975. The Fire was He REJECTED me, and I had to scramble in my imagination to get myself accepted. Ultimately, my old life was consumed. THAT is what we get saved from, our old life - ignorance and the sin it causes, not the Fire. You WANT the Fire if you merit it. DO NOT MISS THIS DEATH IF YOU DO!! It is your cleansing from sin and your regeneration.

I will try to rework the miswritten posts. I said in the first that the scariest verse in the Bible is Matthew 7:23, "And then I will declare to them that, 'I never knew you, go away from me, workers of abomination'" (Alexander). Now to me it is the most hopeful, for that is virtually what He said to me when He rejected me in Honolulu. He wouldn't touch me with a ten-foot pole, for while I had "accepted" that He was truly the Son of God, I was still depraved and profane in my inner man.

In the second post, I copied most of 2 Peter chapters 2 and 3, proving that the Fire of the Day of the Lord was coming. Of course, it IS for those who have not yet been through it. Peter was warning believers who HAD been though it to not be deceived by false prophets who would get them to need to go through it AGAIN:

"While you hold the vigil to the coming of the Day of God, by Whom the heavens WERE endowed and yet melted by fire, and the elements were burned AND YET A HOLOCAUST. The new heavens, then, and the new earth, WE HOLD ONTO THEM as His Kingdom, those of us in whom righteousness abides" (2 Peter 3:12-13 Alexander, emphasis mine).

The lesson I learn: Build your proofs, and then DISprove them before you open your big fat mouth.

Seed Extreme Expansion to Total Extreme

There is a pattern to God: micro to macro. It is ever expanding. Its Manifestation must also expand. It grows from fertile seed to massive harvest; from fruit to forest. From babyhood we grow to leave a large estate to our heirs. Barren islands become jungles. But the root is psychological. We start with our Father Field's minimum deposit and grow into God-level in the Field Itself. This is "Jethro," God's jutting-over-the-brim abundance, and our proof that He is.

Jethro is a constant factor in spirit and its image, the flesh. It is the will and nature of our Father, as evidenced by creation. The Ineffable thought existence; Its Son, Consciousness, became it (for which we may be forgiven); and the universe expands in space and richness. Again, it is psychological. The universe is imagic of the invisable, a revelation, an invitation, and a challenge: "Can you find Me? Come unto Me, and I will make you Me."

Siti on the Narrow Gate and Constricting Way

I received this e-mail from reader Siti:

Dan

I have been absorbing “The Immortal Man,” “The Eternal Man,” “Most People Won’t Accept This Powerful Truth,” and “Heaven is Within,” all by Neville, listening to them several times over and reading the Scriptures and chapters out of Alexander’s Aramaic translations. In particular John chapter six. It dawned on me (with a proper understanding for the first time), the aspect of communion that churches are engaged in is very “skewed.”

I have been looking at myself now from a totally different perspective...the more I meditate (imagine) the more I change and become a “doer of His Word.” I have been believing (imagining) the best for those I have coffee with each morning. I also use what Neville calls “I remember when,” not saying anything to anyone but God. I have also been applying His authority (since I am He) on my own garment (that sometimes unruly being). And it works from the perspective within me, not from without/outside.

This has given me new understanding when I read Joshua 1:8. Because my attention is constantly on His Word now, and His Spirit is bringing to my remembrance all the years of reading the Scriptures into an aligning focus, that brings/reveals His purpose and what He’s been doing to bring me to His intentions for me.

I feel as though the Spirit is cleaning my house/thoughts and mental conversations. I understand why He said, “Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Those aspects will cause a major change when viewed from the inward perspective: a life of loyalty to the unseen reality that gives me the proper understanding of FAITH!!!

And THAT excites me because THAT is God!!!

Siti

PS: I remember my Dad used to say, “Say what you have, and you’ll have what you say,” over and over again. Mark 11:24.

Another Hint on Studying the Bible

Cheryl Craig asked about how to study the Bible itself instead of studying what other people have said about the Bible. I do not think I told Cheryl specifically to TRANSLATE THE PROPER NAMES of the people and places in the stories. You see, while we do not commonly translate proper names, in the original language they did not need to be translated by the readers -- they meant what they meant directly, like when you meet a person named Shell, Star, or Dawn. You might not translate the name of a Peter you meet, but you wouldn't even need to translate the name of a guy named Rock. You can search for the Hebrew meaning of names online. One of my favorite insight sites is abarim-publications.com. It was a great mistake in the first century to not translate the proper name of Jesus, "Yah Saving Us."

Another item is the first occurance of a word in the Bible. That is key to what it probably means in later occurances. Keep this in mind when litanies form in your thoughts. These things can revolutionize your understanding of what God is saying and is doing.

Extremes

There is always the question of what is required of believers in God. Is there actually a moral code of behavior expected by God, the Consciousness of the Ineffable (of which, by the way, we happen to be)? The pass, "It's complicated," applies. Moral codes are established by priesthoods. They define their culture's expression of devotion to God. It is up to the potential convert/proselyte to decide whether to accept and adopt the proffered cultural expression or opt for another manner of demonstrating their love, honor, and devotion to God.

The Laws offered by the Oracles of the Jews (applied in thought, not just in behavior) give an example of the extreme devotion expected by their priesthood for the extreme holiness of their God. The nation (people group) is to be characterized by this extreme. This is a revelation of what is expected of YOU. As you read the expectations of holiness laid upon them, imagine that same expectation of extreme devotion laid upon yourself. How will you be demonstrably loving, noble, moral, and honoring of God? That invisible Being wants Its nature and character to be visibly manifested by your thought and behavior, for your in and out to be demonstrably, manifestly It. Or at least, that is how I see it. We are to make Its avenues easy. Bless Him, He makes our cultural-demonstration path building our own endeavor, but with His strength. So be sure first of all to know Him. He is the first Extreme.

Mark 11:24 and John 16:24 -- "believe that you will receive," "be assured* (satisfied) that your joy shall be complete"

John's "that your gladness may be full" equates with Mark's "believe ye receive." You believe that you receive, so you are glad. You imagine you are glad for having received, and you receive...and are glad. So watch what you image. Be careful with it. It is well known that if we constantly WANT something, we will never get it, because it is the wanting that is manifested. So also not wanting something to happen; not wanting it to happen is manifested. What we fear comes upon us, and the church is waiting for Jesus to return, because the church is waiting for Jesus to return. Joy becomes joy. Having becomes having. This is the horse we ride: what we want, we have to believe we receive with joyful gladness and appreciation.

"Because of this I say to you, all whatever -- praying -- ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it shall be to you" (Mark 11:24 YLT).

"Till now ye did ask nothing in my name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24 YLT).

"That your joy may be full" at the end. When did your joy START? When you believed you received. For myself, believing Robert Young's analysis that the ancient Hebrew had no fututre tense (see Young's Literal Translation of the Bible's introduction), I read the Bible without most of the shalls and wills, converting them in my mind to present tense:

"Because of this I say to you, all whatever -- praying -- ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it is to you" (Mark 11:24 YLT, note applied).

"Till now ye did ask nothing in my name; ask, and ye do receive, that your joy is full" (John 16:24 YLT, note applied).

Causative Conditionals

Believe in God. Know Jesus and have faith in Him.

Know exactly what you want, and what you will do for it (this is charity, chesed).

Ask straightly, directly...be surrounded...be enveloped with your answer in Jesus' name, and be full of gladness (it is the faith-filled feeling that is the prayer).

Repeatedly do the action at night, and think from the end. Be in that state, and go to sleep.

Emphatically and repeatedly refuse to do the action during the day.

Tell no one.

Speaking of the Foreknowledge of God, We are COMPELLED by What He HAS THOUGHT

And I believe He has thought of all possible alternatives to the particular course we are on. Plot and imagine happened the future you desire, surrounded and enveloped with gladness in this future answer to your intentions. Be there saying. "Thank You!" for its happening, and for the appreciation you have of His presence and power as Your human imagination: "Oh My God, I am YOU!! I AM!!"

I hope You are enjoying this diversion through eternity. We still have a long way to go, not in distance, but in development.

There Is A Miracle In Your Mouth

There is a Miracle in Your Mouth by John Osteen. Our "mouth" is our HEART, and its "speaking" is its FEELING.

Its FEELING (belief) is our prayer. Per Gregg Braden video, make thought and emotion one potent force. If the two make peace (become one) in the house, they will say...and it will happen.

"All things that you ask straightly, directly, from inside my name (authority/nature), you will be given...Ask without hidden motive, and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire that your GLADNESS be full" (John 16:23-24 from Aramaic). Gladness is our FEELING-PRAYER.

Sympathy, Please, for God

The Ineffable is at a loss as to how to inform us as to Itself. The No-thing can only manifest in thought. It has no other way to scream.

Something for me to remember from my baptism in the Holy Spirit. I imagined myself being on a high mountain meadow. There was a large felled pine tree I knelt at to pray. The alpenglow on the adjacent mountains spread over the sky to my left and then across the sky above me. I realized that it wasn't the sun's glow; it was the glory of the Big Guy Himself. I dared not even look up as I sensed His Presence. All I could do was wait in complete submission, and I said with head bowed to the Glory above: "You are the Great God. I am a mud-man. Whatever you tell me to do, that I will do." After a short while I heard the thought, "Remember this, and it is all right."

For that moment I was WITH Him. And it was all right.

The Bible is in Stories

The stories are illustrations of spiritual truths. Get familiar with the stories, for they are God's language. There are "Thru the Bible" presentations offered at many churches, I believe online, and in book form, like J. Sidlow Baxter's Explore the Book (1960. Grand Rapids: Zondervan). These acquaint you with what is in each book of the Bible. Read the stories for entertainment, read again for more relational detail, and read again with an open, receptive mind - what's this got to do with real reality? I remember taking a speed reading course during seminary and practicing on the Gospels. I had to stop from laughing so hard. God has a marvelous sense of humor I had never noticed before. I still read theology at about four words per minute. I'm not kidding - there is a lot of wrestling involved (I can hear a lot of theologians' heads nodding affirmatively).

Having some idea to wrestle with is a good motivator to study the Bible for all it is worth. There are big questions to figure out: like Calvinism verses Arminianism - which is correct? Are we under predestination or free will? Was the atonement limited? Is it a pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation rapture that we await? Or is it no rapture, no tribulation? How does the dominion of the saints work? What is implied by "I will never leave you nor forsake you," and "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory"? You might even like researching the application of the Mosaic Laws. Why were the Laws given, and who, if anyone, is obligated to obey them - just the Jews, the nation of Israel, all believers wherever they are, or all nations? Welcome to the fray.

What is the Significance of Abraham and YHWH Being Switched in Genesis 18:22?

I told Cheryl that the Bible is illustration for our development into the true manifestation of God. Bullinger notes in The Companion Bible that Genesis 18:22 was emended from "YHWH stood yet before the Abraham," to "Abraham stood yet before YHWH." My question to Cheryl is: do you see the different impact this alteration makes upon our lives? It was not Abraham stopping YHWH, as we have in our text, it was YHWH stopping Abraham. God hadn't just dropped in for lunch on the way to destroy the low-lifes by the Dead Sea. He had made Abram the Merciful or the Gracious Father. "Hey, Father of Grace, I have just sent two of my best to fry those despiteful users of men in the valley. Whatcha going to do about it?" As the Merciful Father, Abraham had a hard time coming up with an alternate plan. No "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." He didn't even try for five.

YHWH stands directly before us, saying, "I am bringing a world of hurt to the low-lifes in this world. Whatcha going to do about it?" Let's see, what's our role here?

If You Want To Study The Bible, Try Correcting It

One of the most valuable features of The Companion Bible is its one hundred and ninety-eight appendixes. Among these are appendixes 30, 31, 32, and 33, which deal with changes made by the Jews to the Hebrew text. This is information from the Massorah, the notes in the margins of the ancient manuscripts which recorded all the changes made to the text. These notes were NOT incorporated when the Hebrew text was translated into other languages. Appendix 30 discusses the Massorah itself; appendix 31 lists words with extraordinary points (important, but of no consequence in translation); appendix 32 lists 134 passages where the name of God, YHWH (LORD), was changed to Adonai ("Master" or "Lord"); and appendix 33 lists a number of "emendations." I found it interesting to hunt down all of the verses mentioned in 32 and make certain the right term, YHWH, was penned in the text. Some of the emendations from 33 are really interesting. E.g., in Genesis 18:22, where it says "Abraham stood yet before the Lord," it originally said, "Jehovah stood yet before Abraham." I.e., PHYSICALLY!! Jews couldn't accept that, even if it is allegorical.

Hints and Bits About Bible Study/ How to Study the Bible

When we have an idea and want to convey it to others, we use words to illustrate what is in our mind in hopes that the same idea may form in our listeners' minds. Thus the Bible. It is a collection of books of illustration. Our effort is to get the SAME ideas (values and effects) formed in our minds which were in the minds of the books' authors.

The authors conveyed their ideas through symbols, codes, types, similes, examples, and allegories, all related to psychological realities, principles, and character. Whole fields of code are lost in translation (think gematria, the Hebrew language as numbers), and much meaning is perverted by bad and incomplete translation (think King James Version). So why do I use the King James, specifically Bullinger's Companion Bible? It is because of deeper studies long researched. We know just about all of the King James' faults, which are myriad. Bullinger points many of them out. We read with a running autocorrect in our minds: it says this; it means that. The Companion Bible is a veritable encyclopedia. Not that I agree with Bullinger's dispensationalism. There have been deeper studies long researched after Bullinger, too.

I have graduated to using Victor Alexander's translations from the ancient Aramaic, which are ideomatic. He still gives many literal translations and explanations in his footnotes. He also opens the ancient Eastern church's perspective to us, another whole field lost to the Western reader. The Western church was prejudiced to their existing religions, philosophies, and perspectives. The BASIS of the Jewish religion was completely foreign to them. The fine print of understanding from a distance looked like a blank slate to them.

Most versions of the Bible are available online. Just enter the book, chapter, or verse(s) you would like to read in the url or search box, and numerous sites will become available. The Companion Bible is also available online. Charles Haywood gives us heavendwellers' pdf's. Very helpful when you want to have text on one tab and Bullinger's appendixes on another. If you will click on heavendwellers' link, and then the Genesis pdf link, you will be able to scroll down to Genesis chapter one. Please note the little circles in front of the words First, Book, and Moses. You can find those words explained in the first four lines of the right-hand column. We are also directed to three different appendixes in the back of the Bible which discuss the meanings and uses of these words in greater detail. Like I said, The Companion Bible is more like an encyclopedia/ seminary course, and we haven't even gotten to the first verse yet!

If you scroll down to the middle of the pdf page, to the fourth line below the left-hand column, you will find the word was from the second verse in bold, and its literal meaning, became. I still use my paperback "compact" Strong's Exhaustive Concordance with Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries (make sure yours has these dictionaries!!) - I've given my big hardcover Strong's away - but the concordance and dictionaries are available online. A quick search brought up https://www.eliyah.com/lexicon.html, which looks really great. I typed 'was' in the first box, found the Strong's dictionary number attached to that word in Genesis 1:2, and then put that number (1961) in the second box for the Hebrew dictionary. Then it is as simple as reading the results for 1961 (hayah): to be, to become, to come to pass, etc.

Note the sense of transition inherent in the word hayah. We call it time. God calls it creation. Maybe you'd call it the present between the future and the past. It is what is going on. I loved discovering Alexander's translation of Genesis 1, verses 1 and 2, "As the Beginning, the Son of God creates the heavens and the earth. And the earth was for Him and by Him, and the darkness was over the face of infinite space, and the Spirit of God was over the layers of the water" (emphases mine). Creation by the Son of God is ongoing, constant. !!! From the darkness (ignorance) over the face of the infinite space universe there is CONSTANT TRANSITION by the Spirit of God over the layers of the water, the psychological. The Bible is this transition's story to the end of Revelation.

On the Reward (Euaggelion)

The reward is the knowledge of God we can have (of the ineffable No-thing) that we are here to discover, to have it developed in us. It is not a knowledge of this world, for this is illustration, but a knowledge in the spirit/imagination (consciousness) we are within us; i.e., in the real "me."

The unknowable, ineffable (...?) has a consciousness which has become everything; all of it together the Manifestation of the Ineffable. We minds are part and parcel of THAT. Certain facets, features of the Consciousness are knowable to us. They are the "reward" man has hoped for through the ages. When the early Aramaic church went out preaching, "The Season is over. Repent, and believe in the Gospel," their listeners heard, "The Light has come. Change how you see the world, and put your faith in the Reward."

My God is Too Small

I do not necessarily recommend the book Your God Is Too Small (J. B. Phillips. 1961. New York: Macmillan Company), but I keep mine at eye level on my bookcase so that I see it frequently. Not because I am interested in reading it. I'd be happy just to have the front cover. I want to remind myself: My God is too small. Yours is, too. I do recommend posting the words as a reminder on your bookcase or wall - big, bold, block letters: Your God Is Too Small.

Take it to heart. Way too small. God is not a big blob of white light sitting in a big chair on a glass sea in an arena in Heaven running everything by remote control, dependent on reporting angels zooming back and forth to tell Him what is happening. God is the Intelligence and Consciousness of the ineffable (...?) (No-thing). It is conscious of every oscillating quantum member of our reality, because It IS each and every one of them. It knows everything that has happened, everything that can ever happen, and everything necessary for Its Manifestation to become exactly as It is, for It is becoming manifest in and through all of this. And by 'manifest' I do not mean concrete permanence; I mean experiential action. It flows in, and It flows out, though It is always here. This (waving my arms all around to indicate everything around us) is It, God, the Consciousness of the Ineffable.

It loves and appreciates Its nature: Its love, Its power, and Its beneficence. IT IS PRAYING, ADVOCATING FOR THE WHOLE CREATION IT HAS IMAGINED. That is our present. It is working all things together for Its good, to make everyone into It. And I am thinking what? I am assuming I have nice things so that I will be recognized by people as being really, really impressive: "Oh, wow, look. There is DANNY!" (Cue the applause.) Yeah, I could make God gag. Instead of assuming that I am having a wonderful day, oughtn't I assume that EVERYONE is having a wonderful day? That everyone is healthy, wealthy, and wise? That there is a chicken in every pot (or mushrooms and tofu for the vegans)? A new Lambo in every garage? That everyone has promotion, has their desires fufilled, are healed, and love reigns supreme?

It is so pitiful that I spend any minutes at all trying to manifest bennies for myself. They brought all the sick, the maimed, the crippled, and the insane to Jesus, AND HE HEALED THEM ALL. THAT is what He spent the night in prayer for. Not twenty minutes for Himself, but hours through the night for everybody, for every need to be appeased, for every wrong to be righted. The Consciousness of the Ineffable, "God," can handle it. It is just: can I imagine it? Can I create it? Think big. Bigger. Imagine Infinity ecstatically extolling the greatness of God in tongues -- THAT God.

There was an Aramaic Church in the first centuries AD. I fancy that church alive still, and myself a member of it. They went out preaching the Reward, our reconciliation to God through the redemption of Jesus Christ, God confirming their words with signs and wonders. Let's get out and publish it, promulgate the Truth, and count on the greatness of God.

Gifts of Jacob to Esau

In Genesis 32 Jacob, the inner spirit man who had been learning controlled imagination, sent gifts to Esau, the outer flesh man. Were these "gifts" not Jacob's loving imaginings of Esau wealthy and having all he needed? Jacob's intense, determined wrestling was emotion "strengthed," and his intent was Israelized - done by God. Neville said, When it works, you have found Him. When did it work? When you imagined with strength.

Because This is God

I am not anxious for much. I do not worry, because this is God. This existence/experience is, in fact, the Ineffable: the Ineffable pushed out. Not this, the stuff out in front of me, but this, all stuff all around INCLUDING me, my existence and experience. And you. (Hi.) All things at all times everywhere in all forms and dimensions are God, the consciousness of the Ineffable, imagining. He is Eil, the Shaddai, the Almighty Provider, and YHWH, He Who Causes To Be. So why should I worry? He is causing THIS to be, HIMSELF!

I have many times referred to the meaning of the name Israel as explained by Ethelbert Bullinger in The Companion Bible, in his note on Genesis 32:28 (page 59 of the Genesis pdf). The head-knocker element in his explanation is that God, Eil, is the DOER of the verb/action part of the name, isra. Jacob, the inner spirit man of the carnal body Esau had been sent by his father Isaac, "Laughter," to become enlightened in imagination. It is graduation time, and the carnal body is being reunited with the powers of the spirit. In SLEEPLESS, EMOTIONAL DESPERATION Jacob puts all he knows in grappling for change. "Your name will not be called again Jacob, except Israel, because you have been validated with the angel and with man and you could strength" (Genesis 32:28 Alexander's note).

This was a real change of state for what had been Jacob, the Contender. He had "strengthed." That was his sleepless night of intense wrestling with God. Yes, the word isra may mean to struggle or wrestle, but its primary meaning is to become fully upright of what had been liquid. Huh? Think of a drooping flower, bush, or tree. It needs water, for it is dying of thirst. Now think of it well watered, full, upright, and flourishing. GOD DID THAT IN JACOB, and made Jacob's stuff Eil Commanding. I.e., God DID it. I like that place; this place. This is God. This is God DID it.

The Gift of Satan

I firmly believe that God, the consciousness of the Ineffable No-thing, wants us, Its imagination, to become as It is...in the Highest. Let's borrow the analogy of the Law of Attraction: the perfect state of God is high vibe. We are being attracted, if you will, to the highest frequency of spiritual vibration. That has to be DEVELOPED in us. We have to be generated to that state by what we go through in these lower-vibe planes. That is why the "Son" of God, as the Beginning of all creation (us - imagination) at the beginning of time, fell into crucifixion upon the material universe and thus into the ignorance of amnesia -- to have these developmental experiences. That is "God Saving" - 'Jesus.' We were "ignoranced;" i.e., made the ignorance of the Ineffable's consciousness, again if you would, God's only fault. Only by His "going away" from our conscious awareness could we have to search for Him and through searching actually come His high-vibe level.

That would be cool, if it worked. Apparently, our being stupid was not enough. We needed intensity, emotion, focus, and discipline to become perfected and like God. For God is not a sloth. He so assumes that what He thinks is that He ACTUALLY BECOMES what He has thought, the "end" of His Manifestation. THAT is what we, imagination, are to do. So God gave us the gift of opposition, the rotten, most low-vibration excretion of God - Satan, the curse of the idea of our separation and division from God - to cause the emotional desperation and intensity necessary to develop and to overcome this ignorance. Like Neville's having his students determine to NOT climb the ladder they have imagined climbing. It is hard to get intensely emotional about climbing a ladder, but make said climbing an enemy and a threat, "I will NOT (!) climb a ladder," with real serious intent to eschew climbing if the opportunity should arise, and we take on the likeness of God.

So You Have Finally Realized That Your Own, Wonderful, Human Imagination Is The Form Of God, The Consciousness Of The Ineffable No-thing. So What? What Are You Going To Do About It?

What indeed. Neville Goddard said, "I am not a rational person when it comes to the world...I am speaking of an entirely different principle...imagination to me is...God...there is nothing but God, and all things are possible to God." Louise Berlay applied this principle during an episode of intense grief, much to her relief: "I proved that all things do exist in my own, wonderful, human imagination" (Law of Identical Harvest 2:55 and 11:19, emphasis mine).

Oh. Imagination is the form of God, and all things are possible to imagination. That means all things - all imagination and all its states - are subject to me. I do not have to be there, because "there" is me. My mind is reeling -- "great is the power of the prayer that the righteous person prays" (James 5:16 Alexander) -- power to change unwanted states, power to quelch darkness and to bring light. We can adjust states.

Oh, look. On the shelf next to all my Bibles is the book, Praying with Power, by C. Peter Wagner (1997; Ventura, CA: Regal Books). I have had it for twenty years, maybe I should finish reading it. I started reading it once, but put it down because it seemed to deal mainly with church planting. Reading it now, I see how it easily translates to affecting attitudes and influences with power from a distance. Wagner speaks of prayer warriors, intercessors, and power encounters with demonic principalities. What I hear is good imagination countering bad, evil (immature) imagination.

I know there are powers of darkness, but they are to me ignorances entrenched in the states of the people entrenched in them. THEY ARE ALL IMAGINATION, and they are all subject to me, IMAGINATION. Prayer is IMAGINATION. Prayer is changing the imagination there. Wagner is all about focusing on what is there, defining it (the "strongman"), and applying effectual, powerfully SPECIFIC prayer to bind, mitigate, change, and remove accursed bad imagination. God doesn't mind. His nature is to move us up toward being more like Him: our nature is to break gates. Now would not be a bad time to learn this.

The Human Imagination Is The FORM Of God

I had Neville Goddard's lecture "Feel After Him" on my mp3 player, so I am sure I have heard this lecture a dozen times (Nevillution has a nice selection of excerpts from it). Maybe I am just listening better now. Never understood this before. Neville is saying that Human imagination is the form God is in. That the human imagination IS God. When in seminary my Christian Theology professor, J. Rodman Williams, suggested that some people believe that imagination is God, everyone had a good laugh. When I tell people that we are God, they step back and cross their fingers saying, "No, no, no. There is no way you or I or anyone else is God." I guess they don't mind calling God a liar. Of course, they are thinking of these shadows we present ourselves in, not the Light within us.

From the lecture, 9:30 - "If I can feel this state, I am finding God. For God is spirit. And may I tell you, and by 'spirit' I do not mean some intangible thing. It actually is the human form divine. When I speak of the human imagination, it is a form. It is a reality. It is the divine form. So the eternal body of man is the human imagination, and that is God Himself."

We are in these shadows sleeping to become improved by His being away (from our perception). Our imagination is not just the door to God, it IS God. Have faith, for real!!

Which World Are We In, Really?

I was born and reared in this physical world of shadows. I got saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and realized that we are really in "that" world, the world according to the Bible. "This" world is like a mask over that one. In that world during the baptism in the Holy Spirit, God said to me, "Remember this, and it is all right."

In this YouTube video, "Neville Goddard The Law Of Identical Harvest," Neville said to a young Louise Berlay, who felt compelled to go to Paris for a very short visit and had come to Neville for advice about it (2:55), "You are asking the wrong person for advice, because I am not a rational person when it comes to this world. To me, I do not go along with the reasoning mind. I am talking of an entirely different principle. I am speaking of imagination, and imagination to me is Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ to me is God. And there is nothing but God, and all things are possible to God."

Louise went to Paris and due to that trip married well, had two lovely sons, and then lost the first in a tragic accident. Stunned beyond measure, Louise sought to know her son, if he had come forth from her own mind, was really right there. It came about that as she was in her bed, her son came forth from her and sat on the arm of a nearby chair. Then she came from her mind and sat in the chair, and her second son, Neville Mark, who was asleep in his own bed, also came out of her to the chair. Her first son was lovely beyond compare. Intending to tell her husband, the vision faded. She reported to Neville (about 11:19), "I proved that all things exist in my own, wonderful, human imagination," and that this world is a shadow of the imagination.

Manipulate the images of your imagination, assuming real what you desire to be real, until they become the shadows of this world, and tell no one until after.

The secret of it is to center your imagination in the feeling of the wish fulfilled and remain therein. For in our capacity to live IN the feeling of the wish fulfilled lies our capacity to live the more abundant life.

Compulsion Prayer Lists

You are affected by other people's expectations of you. They are affected by you. Their beliefs become manifest just as your beliefs do. We can recognise this influence and counter with expectations of our own for our success and their improved expectation of us.

We can greatly affect our world by believing the best for other people's worlds. This is the original paying it forward. See stuggling people standing in success, oppressed peoples in freedom. Read that cancer patient's lab report: Negative. See bickering, fighting couples embracing, much in love, and that new graduate bringing home a handsome pay. See the timid confident, the incompetent competent, the uncapable capable, the bumbler succeeding. See the streets cleaned and everyone in respect, prosperity, and joy. See better than it is, increase, and abundance. Constantly revision. Create by imagining what God might compel. What you see wrong in this world, see fixed. MAKE it right by YOUR prayer for God's compulsion. If we do not see it, believe it, and assume it, He won't compel it, for WE are the masters of the universe WITH Him.

We are influenced in this world, often negatively, but we can overcome and influence the world toward its best. Our worlds are our creation, the mirrors of our beliefs. And this is God's language; its faults are addressed to us!! If there is bad and weakness in it, it is only because we are allowing it in our own beliefs...due to our own ignorance. Satan is the culprit, and he is the structure of our rationalizations in our ignorance. Overcome! Grasp the oneness of God we are in and of and believe Our intent for success and health and love and glory. Curse the ignorance and believe in the Light. Let It demonstrate the reward we are destined to (and are now in as we are in Christ Jesus).

"Confess your foolishness to each other, and pray one for the other, so as you may be healed. For great is the power of the prayer that the righteous person prays." (James 5:16 Alexander).

Elohim Does NOT Mean 'God' or 'gods'; It Means YOU are Master of the Universe

Yeah, shocker. Unfortunately, so is everyone else.

Mistranslating, misinterpreting, and misreading the Bible drives me nuts. That's why I got into the habit of correcting my Bible. Elohim is a compound word. According to Victor Alexander, Elohim does not mean 'God' or 'gods'; it means "Over the Flames."* I.e., the Authority and Power Beyond the Stars. When Elohim, the Authority and Power Beyond the Stars said in Psalm 82:6, "You are Elohim," It did not mean the judges were gods. It meant the judges were the Authority and Power Over the Universe, for they were, as we are, It. Hello.

You see, there is no separation between the Ineffable Most High who is over the flames and Its Manifestation, which we are. There is no division, so we, the Manifestation, are the Ineffable in Its becoming.

That we are not the Authority and Power Over the Universe was the lie of Satan in Genesis chapter three. Satan, our rationalization in amnesia-caused ignorance, said we could become LIKE the Authority and Power Over the Flames. While we are the Authority, the implication was that we are separate, that there is a division between ourselves and that Over the Flames, because we cannot see or perceive It. DON'T BELIEVE THE LIE. DO NOT CALL GOD A LIAR. Do not put on false humility in denying that you are Over the Flames. It is the One who says you are! The Authority and Power Over the Flames says that YOU are the Authority and Power, verily Master of the Universe. Thus also am I and everything else, because Elohim, the Consciousness of the Ineffable Most High, has become EVERYTHING.

Its One includes us. We, though presently ignoranced, are NOT gods, but are Masters of the Universe. In Christ we are seated in Heavenly places. Keep looking down.

*See "A Major Misconception" at the end of his individual Book of Genesis, ISBN978-1438211510. This two and a quarter page article alone is, in my opinion, worth the price of the book.

Gods and Imaginations

It is my belief and doctrine that the Ineffable Being, the incomprehensible No-thing beyond all being, has and is consciousness, and that consciousness is what we call "God." I believe, furthermore, that we invisible spirits and the bodies we inhabit are that consciousness. All is consciousness, thought which we imagine is real.

The consciousness of the Ineffable - "God" to us - exists in form like an infinite field of power, and as a Person it imagines. By Its imagination It assumes existence and becomes what It has assumed. Thus God expands in thought and being. Its intelligence (I do not know what else to call it) is powerful to become whatever particulate matter it imagines or assumes it is. That is one form of imagination and expansion. The field also imagines what can be, what can happen, and all possible alternatives and ramifications to being. It has the power to become these forms, directing matter to facilitate their existence and expression. This is a second type of imagination and expression. Lastly, God has the ability to unite with these forms as conscii, perturbances of Itself, and Itself experience all through them. God is a pretty tricky Fellow.

I think this might be edited and continued.

Compulsion: You Are Creating Your World

The universe, the world, and you and I are under compulsion, for we are under each other's beliefs. Matter is compelled by the intelligence which has become it. God is compelled by the Ineffable. Our lives are compelled by the Ineffable's nature. What we think and say and do, our "wife," compels the world we live in: "Out of Jacob (our inner man) comes He that has dominion" (Numbers 24:19). Young's Literal Translation says, "(Israel) doth rule out of Jacob." Israel is God ruling as man, for we are He, and it is God who does the action. Weird as it is, we (God, man, principle, and action) are all one thing: the Manifestation of the Ineffable. It IS dominion, authority. And God tells us, Itself, to exercise authority here, as It.

Examine yourself. You in Christ in becoming flesh fell into ignorance. You have done your three days and nights in this grave, have beaten rationalism, and are, I repeat, ARE redeemed. REDEEMED. The reward of Eternal Life is given. You are God. THAT is where you sit in your meditation, the place from which you pray. The reward is an all-day thing.

I have never manifested anything. I think and say and imagine, and God does any and all manifestating. Compulsion is His bailiwick. Thinking, saying, caring, and imagining are mine. Our unifying factor is mind. The Ineffable has consciousness, and we are part of that. His consciousness, mind, is the principle of the universe we are in and are of. It is the power. He gives us authority to exercise in our part. We are humble, submitted, patient, and authoritative, purposeful and focused, clear and believing.

Living is not rocket science. We have been doing it 24/7 all of our lives. It's just that now we can and should be doing it - thinking, saying, and imagining - with maturity, wisdom, and authority. (I am preaching to myself, by the way.) I know there isn't anything hard in this. We just have to control our thoughts to the assumption or belief that what we want exists. Our belief is immediate in the Ineffable's consciousness, God, and Its power COMPELS our world. We have been doing this all our lives. Let's do it with knowledge.

Doing it is an easy how to: first, you have to know exactly what you want to experience. It is a verb: you want to experience something, to have, do, or be it. Second, create a mental scene, the image of an action that implies that you already have what you desire. Why an action? Unless you want a dream, you are going to experience the fulfillment of your desire through your senses. Say you want a particular item. When you receive it, you are going to see it, hold it, feel it, smell it, hear it, and maybe even taste it. You are going to feel excitement and joy, and relief that you HAVE it. Seeing that you have your desire (this is in your imagination), praise God with thanksgiving, gratitude, and adoration.

Now here is the thing today: believing in God and in Christ's redemption, as you lie down to sleep, enter the scene in your imagination with authority. Call it into being. "I am doing this, seeing this, seeing my friend, my family. What I feel IS real, my focus is clear, the situation exists." As Neville so often said, "Give it all the tones of reality." And continue imagining the scene over and over until you fall asleep. When you wake, rehearse the scene whenever you can, either positively or negatively (the unconscious does not recognize your NOT wanting what you are imagining; you are imagining it, so the unconscious is going to compel it into your experience). Have the experience in your imagination; do not want it. You do not want the feeling of wanting the experience to be what is compelled. You want the feeling OF the experience to manifest in your life. Think it, do not tell anyone else what you are thinking, and let God compel it just like He does every other thing in your life.
