Why I Do Not Deconvert From Christianity (5): Response To Comment From Anonymous At 7:23

A comment on "Why I Do Not Deconvert From Christianity, Continued: I Do Not Have The Wrong Picture," from Anonymous at 7:23:

Hi Daniel,

That is still a problem I face. All the "You" and "I AM", yet when it comes to the will, it seems a separate "higher self" and "carnal mind"; "God" and "man"; "3D" and "4D" (of whatever D. I just find it hard to reconcile this matter.

When I pray, I used to beseech another. But post-Neville, I simply affirm as there is no other but me. But what is it really? How do I reconcile this with subjecting my self-will to God, as per a recent post of yours?

How can I discipline "myself" if I am God? It does not make sense?

Hello, Anonymous at 7:23.

That is a really, really good question. Separation and Oneness are the one big problem in the Church. I believe the right picture of God and of what is going on is an Imagic World View; that we are His image, and that He is His image. For the Ineffable Most High (...?) is manifesting as Consciousness, what we call God, and God is manifesting as what we call us. Altogether It is one big package. We are a part of the package. Everything altogether, including the No-thing, is the Package. Nothing is actually separate, not even the "Wholly Other," for It is all one Thing. Hence we are God, because God is us. This does not make us individually all of God anymore than any one of your body parts is all of you. We are packages of everything that makes up what we are.

We tend to think of God as a single, great big and powerful entity outside of ourselves--the great Eil Shaddai/ God Almighty wholly separate from us and "over there," watching us and judging us by remote control. It is hard to get the perspective of Him, the Divine, within us looking out upon His dream by our imagination. It is likewise hard to get the perspective of all of this universe being but His dream by us, but it is.

I do not doubt that you already know both the word and its meaning, but I think a word and an idea that might help you is 'echad, (Strong's 259, "united," "one" in Deuteronomy 6:4). God, the consciousness of the ineffable Most High (...?), is an 'echad. That is, the mind of the Ineffable is a compound unity made up of many different parts. We are PARTS--bits and pieces--of God's MIND. Every thing is in some way the manifestation of something of God, the Ineffable's consciousness.

What the Ineffable (...?), which HAS consciousness, is, I have no idea. Seriously. I cannot even think of It--(...?)--as being separate. It is everything we can imagine and everything beyond all that we can imagine. The No-thing is simply everything that is, past, present, and future. All live to the No-thing, because the No-thing is All.

Am I going around in circles? Every thing is a part of God. If you would, every thing is both "me" and "Him." Some parts are less than others, and some are lesser still, but all are God. Jesus is a big part of God--the Beginning and End of our part. Generally, we are gross imagination, immature and ignorant. The (...?) is developing by God. Time is Him developing Himself through His parts. We are not all the same part. "The eye does not say to the hand, 'I have no need of you.'" We all need each other . . . for HIS development. Parts talk to each other. That is going on within us all the time. And when you smash your thumb you do not say, "I smashed myself," we say, "I smashed my thumb." We can speak to God as another for He is greater. We know He is listening AND HEARING because He is us; nothing goes on within or around us without Him knowing it altogether. So why do bad things happen? "Ball's in your court, Dude. DO something about it," says the Greater to the lesser. We are here--Him--for HIS development, and He is not bothered by anything but our lack of development. DEVELOP!

Why I Do Not--Will Never--Deconvert From Christianity (4)

Response miracles. God confirms apostles' words with miracles, be they healings, signs, or wonders. The point is Someone other than ourselves is doing them, and He, She, or It wants us to believe in Jesus Christ and the reward He has won. Well, for me the words have been confirmed. Admittedly, sometimes the confirmation could conceivably be something from or by me or something other than God. Other times, though, they are things that couldn't. The ecstatic effects of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and hearing Jesus' voice audibly in my brain could be aberrations of my own imagination, but watching my arm grow out at Jesus' name could not. Not as we know the imagination, that is. Maybe there are conscii who are affecting or employing their own religion upon us. They have their reasons if they are doing to us what has been done to them--their message being the message they received.

In any case, God has adequately demonstrated to me that He is real. I HAVE evidence, physical evidence which is empirical even if only to me. I know that the history of the Bible is not meant to be historically literal, that it is allusion, metaphor, symbol and allegory of the human imagination as God. And somebody had to experience it in order to teach it, else we wouldn't have books of it.

I do not endorse the miracleless modern church. That people leave it makes perfect sense to me. I am not there either. But I know that the God stuff is real. Divine intelligence and the Holy Spirit are not phony-baloney, but are the very medium we live in! In the miracleless church there is the blind leading the blind. But once you are out of the church it depends on which way you go. I hope you see the Holy Spirit and hear the Holy Spirit and pursue the Holy Spirit, and the Life-Giver, Jesus Christ. God does not confirm His Word for nothing. I guess I am ruined for apostacy.

Why I Do Not Deconvert From Christianity (3): I Believe in Jesus Because He Says So . . . With Power You Cannot Do

Asides:

What the heck does history have to do with what was happening to Moses? God did not have him write down a history but His Word. He was addressing imagination. THAT is what is explained.

Christianity, ascetics, rules have become idols. They do not save. They are supposed to cause miracles. Most Christians have never been accepted by God--never actually attained to a contrite, broken spirit wholly submitted to Him. Saying the sinner's prayer does not make you born again by Power from on High. If you think you have been born again because it is a doctrine in the Bible, you haven't. It is as real as a slap upside the head with a two-by-four. You would KNOW.

Morality--honor, integrity, fidelity--in marriage is to another person who is to you as the One. In marriage you can bare all in open, absolute love and singleness of mind in UNITY, manifesting God's love for Its manifestation of Itself.

We are part of that bigger Thing, the No-thing. It is not telling us; it is SHOWING us. Show back. It manifests and becomes. We are to manifest and become.

Do not shoot for perfecting the religion, shoot for perfecting the worldview. We are Its IMAGE, Its manifestation--the Manifestation of the infinite invisible No-thing. We are not separate from It, but are It--Its manifestation. We do not realize this because we were stupided in our incarnation, made His ignorance.

The Gospel is not the message, it is the reward Jesus won, the good stuff the Season of Grace was for in Daniel chapter 9--sins put away. Having attained the Reward, HE CAN FORGIVE.

Miracles seen are evidence for those not yet healed. God confirms His Word. Seen, heard, experienced miracles SHOW you that He really is there with real, transcendent power. Get past doctrine to find the Power.

The Topic of This Post:

The Word of God has been the Word of God for eternity. Are you bored with eternity yet? Niet? You are not even conscious of being an eternal being, let alone being bored with it. This stuff is developmental diversion. The Word of God is just like us. He is manifesting God, the closest to the Ineffable we can know. I personally believe He PHYSICALLY finished the physical aspect of the Season of Grace, which He said He was going to do. I.e., He DID it. There are His teachings from all the wisdom ever preached and taught in the world, and there was the Man. We read the summary of His teachings in the Bible, and there is Him. I cannot disbelieve, because Someone says He is alive and seated in power, and PROVES it with quite successful response to His name. Hey, if He says so, who am I to argue?

Another aside:

Eternity is a very, very long time. The existence of the universes is in comparison the blink of an eye. Ignoring the Power and deconverting (probably from something you weren't or didn't understand) is a dangerous proposition. Human life on earth will only remain for limited years, just enough to fulfill the schedule God is keeping. Keep in mind that He is keeping a schedule. That in itself is a miracle. This whole thing is a show, like the Season of Grace. It is finite. Your time in Hell might be finite, too, like the existence of the universes, but that is a tough row to hoe until you get out. THEN you'll have to go through all this AGAIN. (Better luck next time.) You have got some time; think of all this Bible stuff and reality with an imagic world view. Listen. Believe. Watch. Miracles show, and tell. "Oh. This is Him. I am Him. This is me. Oh."

Stick with it.

Why I Do Not Deconvert From Christianity (2): I Do Not Have The Wrong Picture

The Bible is not a secular history to be believed as literal; it is a philosophy to be engaged. The Bible is addressed, said Neville Goddard, to the imagination. "This is about YOU." You are God's imagination. The Bible does not say to believe it as a history. Moses was an expert in the Egyptian religions. In exile in Midian, he found the REALITY of God. "Oh. The Egyptian religions are bunk." Adam and Eve, the Tree of Life which gives the Knowledge of Good and Evil, Cain and Abel, Seth, Noah, Nimrod, the Ashurai, Abraham, Jacob and his descendants--"Israel, God's Prevailing"--are all aspects of YOU. They haven't a blasted thing to do with literal history except they actually happen in people.

The world is imagic, because we are its creator and we are the image of God. Our imagination is the Son of God, the Spark that Kindles the Fire (Ashur in Exodus 3:14), the Beginning (in Genesis 1:1) that creates the world. We are God the Sent, imagining what becomes manifest, but “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV).

The history and the science and the order of things in the Bible are not to be taken as literal to provide us salvation; they are imagic--types and signs and indications of ourselves. Jesus, the Guy who incarnated and lived two thousand years ago and sacrificed His life for YOU is YOU. YOU are His kingdom. Satan's war against God is YOUR ignorance fighting YOU. Do not go the wrong way and just give up to him. TRANSLATE the proper names in the Bible and, voila!, you have an entirely different Bible, an engageable philosophy which reveals God in YOU, as YOU.

And there is His power, for He is Power. You want evidence? Believe Him that He is you. I cannot de-convert, because I have seen what one cannot be hypnotized to see or experience. Sure, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and near-death experiences can be mental aberrations, but seeing limbs grow, paralytics walk, lepers cleansed, blind eyes seeing, the deaf hearing--these are not affects from hypnotism. And you do not get to see such things by leaving Christianity. This is the world you are creating. Stay in it and fight to SEE.

Why I Do Not Deconvert From Christianity (1)

Please forgive me for not posting regularly. I had to process the videos I have seen of people who have de-converted from Christianity. Common themes: history, science, evolution, evidence. Most have not realized that the people from whom they learned Christianity did not know what Christianity IS. Personally, I do not think of Christianity as a religion but as a philosophy, a philosophy engaged.

I confessed and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. I felt good about being saved. Later, I naively knelt at a folding chair to receive the gift of tongues. Nothing happened. Instead of walking out saying, "This is bs," I was crushed. I realized that although I had accepted Jesus, He had not accepted me! I sobbed. I wept. I mentally sought why I was not acceptable. He showed me. I had kept my self-lordship, rule of myself apart from Him. When I attained (or rather de-attained) to a contrite and humble spirit, He said, "Remember this, and it is all right." I was accepted not for believing the literalness of biblical history or any of the other nonsense Christians identify as Christianity, but for identifying myself as being God's. I am simply--WE are simply--a part of Him.

I had asked for the gift of tongues. When the sensation of living water rose within me to my mouth, I provided only the physicality of the language that came out of me. My body was speaking in a tongue, and my mind was consciously aware that I was speaking, but I had no part at all in intending or composing what was said! The guidance of my body's speaking was 100% the Holy Spirit. If you were told to speak in gobbledygook and that that was the gift of tongues or the baptism in the Holy Ghost, you were snowed by a walnut. DON'T GO AWAY from Christianity, go towards it. It is real as a philosophy which can be engaged and lived in humble, loving submission.

Oh, yeah, why I do not deconvert. Since my spirit was broken and I found myself in submission, I have had EVIDENCE. Evidence of a real invisible intelligent Power. A power which loves, draws, and heals. And rules. I am a part of it, submitted to It. All you really have to do is recognize that you are, too.

Exodus 3:14 "I AM IMPASSIONED IMAGINATION WHICH CAUSES TRANSITION TO WHAT IS DESIRED"

GOD, THE IMPASSIONED IMAGINATION OF THE INEFFABLE, IS OUR CREATOR, THE SOURCE OF WHAT IS "US" (AND EVERYTHING ELSE). I.e., assumption.

Exodus 3:14 God is Involved WITH Us

I was told by my Romans professor, Dr. Ray Shelton, that a theologian's Bible automatically falls open to whatever page Romans 5:12 is on. But Dr. Shelton fixed that question for me (we are born spiritually "dead," because of which [the Greek ho, which is not translated!] we sin), so mine falls open to Exodus 3:14. There I wonder, "What could it--ehyeh asher ehyeh--possibly mean?" It certainly does not mean "I AM THAT I AM," though that given is the underlying premise of what it does say.

Let me cut to the chase: in Exodus 3:14 God is saying that He is involved with us, that His love is present and powerful to become manifest in us. Kind of an odd message to send to your chosen, laboring slaves. But Israel is an everyman. Their four hundred years (tau) simply means we shall be completely enslaved when this happens to us. Recognizing that you are completely enslaved in spiritual death and its resultant ignorance is the start. THEN God says His name, which is/reflects His innermost nature: ehyeh asher ehyeh. Now comes the puzzle--what does this mean?

We recently (1956, Shelomo Dov Goitein) discovered that these words spoken to Moses by God were probably in the proto-Arabic language of the Midianites, and meant not that God self-exists, but relate God to “love, affection, passion, desire.” Sounds more like the commandment in Genesis 1:28, to multiply and increase to replenish the earth, which is to be the image of God. Ehyeh asher ehyeh in Arabic carries on with the theme: "I am involved with it." This picture is conveyed in and explains the Aramaic version of the passage, Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh (Victor Alexander, Exodus: Translated from the Ancient Aramaic Scriptures). Being Love Itself, the Impassioned One, God absolutely, well, here are Alexander's footnotes: Ahiyeh": "the One Who Comes in His Coming," the absolute sense of "the One Who Comes." (2) "Ashur": "the Beginning Spark that kindles the Fire" or "the Light." (3) "Hiyeh": "His Coming." (4) "Ahiyeh" and "hiyeh" are related forms of the same word. They mean more than "the Coming." They signify also the "Eternal Presence," "the Ever-Present," and the "Never Ceasing Intent of the Comer to Come." (5) In the same way, "Ashur" signifies "the Uncreated Creator who Creates Everything from Nothing." (6) Also, "Ashur" signifies: "Above-the-Flames."

This is a lot more than "I AM THAT I AM": the One Who Is loves us and is involved with us. The Hebrew word in all this is hayah (Strong's 1961), which embodies the idea of TRANSITION, of BECOMING. Hayah does not mean that something 'is', but that it MANIFESTLY is; i.e., it has become into a state of manifest reality. It is a real state which has become from another state. We see this is in Genesis 1:2 (see Bullinger's note in the Companion Bible), where "the earth was without form, and void; and darkness upon the face of the deep." The 'was' is hayah: the earth WASN'T without form, and void to begin with, but BECAME without form, and void. Same in Genesis 1:3, "Let there be light"; the 'be' is hayah: there wasn't light, and then light became manifest.

God is becoming because He loves, and He loves what He is becoming. He becomes BY loving what He assumes He is. He is the beginning spark that kindles the fire, the Light He is OVER ("Over the Flames" is the translation/ meaning of Elohim -Alexander). We are God in transition, His becoming--all one Thing, the manifestation of the No-thing, called to be Israel, "Eil's Prevailing."

God is real stuff! He demonstrates it--ask the invaders (demons/ ignorance) of ancient Egypt (earth). Or rather the Jews--the called-out-ones--who survived them, saved by the Light of Life (John 3:14). The Truth is that God, the Impassionate One, is involved with us, transitioning within us, becoming manifest as us. When He manifests, you know it.

Jesus Christ, the Love Lesson

I know the characters of scripture are composed, symbolic representations to illustrate the authors' intentions, but somebody had to know what they taught when the stories were written. People miss God's love in creation, they miss that God is love in Exodus 3:14, and they miss that we are supposed to be God's love in the Law. God had a little "do-over" I call the Season of Grace (see Daniel 9). At the end of the Season God sent His love lesson in the form of Jesus Christ. It doesn't really matter if Jesus Christ was a compilation of stories (e.g., of a Judaism-refined Buddha), God incarnate, or a saintly man who manned-up to fulfill prophecy; all we have are the stories and a real God who says the stories are true (belief breaks into confirming experience). To get to Him and what He says is His son, He'd have us be him. Believe the stories and be the stories--the ultimate practical mental trip. My former pastor, Jesse Mason said, "The only way to do it is to do it." Trust that the Guy is there, and do what you can. When it works, you have found Him, er, Them.

Where is the Love? John 16:23-24 and Exodus 3:14: Missing the Authors' Intent

In all probability and likelihood God's words in Exodus 3:14 were Arabic, meaning not that He IS, but that He LOVES, that He is involved with us. I really cannot blame Ezra and all subsequent for not catching this. It is not like Moses had said, "and God said in Arabic, ‘ehyeh asher ehyeh’." By the time Ezra pinned the Old Testament from memory, the idea of Moses' experience in Midian being in the Arabic language among Arabs with an Arabic-speaking God was pretty much lost.

The same thing may have happened in the case of Jesus' words in John 16:23-24. Jesus spoke Aramaic, and his words were translated into Greek. Neil Douglas Klotz expands on the potential meanings of the ARAMAIC version of the words to much richer and fuller ideas than the Greek language conveys (Prayers of the Cosmos, pages 86-87; also noted in Braden's Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer, pages 166-167):

"All things that you ask straightly and directly from inside my name you shall be given. So far you have not done this. Ask without hidden motive and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire, that your gladness be full."

The accusation has been made that portions of this prayer technique given by Jesus have been edited out of John 16:23-24 (from 15:40 in linked video). I think Jesus' heart of love just hasn't been heard or sensed, that the intent of the author has simply been missed due to hearing the wrong language. The Greek tells us to ask in His name. People believe He is telling us to ask in His authority. No, that is dominion. This is ASKING He who is Love. I believe Jesus is telling is to ask in His nature, to imagine with His LOVE. Knowing that God knows all our heart, for there is no separation of us from Him, we are to pray FROM what we desire, to feel enveloped in its manifestation of love, TO GIVE THANKS, PRAISE, GRATITUDE, AND ADORATION FOR IT. We go there in love to cause love, and there express love for there being love. This is a wholesome activity.

I am reminded that the Jews wanted Jesus in John 6 not because He worked the works of God, but because they wanted to be fed (verse 2ff). THAT'S asking with "hidden" ulterior motives. Why does that now remind me of LOA?

Neville Goddard taught causative imagining. The premise of causative imagining is that we can create our futures by imagining what we want with feeling, gratitude, and the absolute belief that what we wanted presently exists, that what we want is our present experience. We need to give our imagined end, the "manifestation" of our desire, "all the tones of reality," including that of love. It needs to be love in the real, present, established experience of what we desire--that it is already existing--with affection and gratitude. Many prayers may simply be conceptualization of the beloved desire become real and expressing, "Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You," appreciatively to God.

"The great secret of prayer is thinking from, rather than thinking of" -- Neville Goddard.

This topic reminds me of the song, Where is the Love? Is that God speaking to us, wondering, "Where is YOUR love?"

Exodus 3:14, Impassioned: A God Like The Bible Talks About

As heavily as the Scriptures emphasize the love of God, I am inclined to believe that God's statement in Exodus 3:14 was indeed in the Arabic language of the Midianites. See The Original Arabic Meaning of the Name.

Another interesting article is In the Name of Love: A Passionate Quest for the True Name of The Creator.

"In 1956 a Hebrew and Arabic a scholar Shelomo Dov Goitein (1900-1985) suggested that the Name YHWH is actually a Proto-Arabic word, derived from the root HWY – hawaya, which means 'love, affection, passion, desire.' Goitein also suggests, as a possible connection, that in Exodus 34:14 the phrase 'YHWH whose name is Jealous' is wrongly translated, and that the word קַנָּא qanna (Jealous) is derived from the Arabic term for passion and really means 'The Impassioned One.' 'For you must not worship any other god, because YHWH, whose Name is Impassioned, is an Impassioned God' (Exodus 34:14)."

"Goitein also gives a possible translation of ehyeh asher ehyeh as: 'I shall passionately love whom I love'."

I take issue with this rendering of Exodus 3:14. As I understand the Introduction to Young's Literal Translation of the Bible, the ancient Hebrew did not have a future tense. Because of God's statement in Exodus 3:14, "I AM," the Jews in deference abandoned the present tense for themselves and switched to the future--only God "is." I have heard that a Jew doesn't say, "I am," but "I will be." (Don't hold me to that; I don't speak Hebrew.) Also, Alexander's Aramaic version I believe has the second ehyeh (hiyeh) as third person. I might try to express it as "I passionately love whom I love," or (especially) "I passionately love Love." All this universe and all that goes on within it is to finally arrive at the complete and perfect manifestation of LOVE.

Says Tyler in the second link: "In closing: The Great Commandment instructs us to: 'Shema (hear) Israel: YHVH our God, YHVH is One. And you shalt love אָהַבְתָּ (ahavta) YHVH thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.' Passionately!"

Amen.

The Book of Genesis is What Moses Learned in His Forty Year Stay in Midian

After he murdered an Egyptian and fled to Midian, Moses spent forty years learning the Midian religion and the histories of his ancestors who had lived in the area. Already expert in the Egyptian religions, Moses did some comparative study and contemplation. The Book of Genesis is a symbolic rendering of what Moses learned in his forty year Midian experience. "As the Beginning (of all things), the Son of God creates the heavens and the earth--for Him and by Him--and darkness (ignorance) is upon it all, with the Holy Spirit yet within it all" (Genesis 1:1-2 my take on Alexander). Moses' ancestors and the Midians understood God to be the ultimate provider, guide, and savior, Eil Shaddai; but it was Moses to whom was revealed that GOD DESPERATELY LOVES MAN. If the 'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh of Exodus 3:14 is indeed in the proto-Arabic language of Midian, God's very nature is impassioned love, affection, and desire.

Yes, God is the uncaused Cause of all, but the uncaused Cause of all is impassioned love, affection, and desire. THUS does He create. He does not identify Himself as self-existent (that is a given, isn't it?), but as Love. If you have had the Holy Spirit come upon you in the baptism in the Holy Ghost, THAT ECSTASY OF UPFLOWING LIVING WATER IS IT! God provides, guides, and saves because He loves. He causes by love, for love, and does continually love. And Moses found, because of God's love and man's incidental ignorance in creation, SUBSTITUTIONARY SACRIFICE.

Where'd it go? How and why, if 'ehyeh was Impassioned Love, did it become "I AM," and YHWH, the Impassioned One, become "He is"? Well, the Law was in the hands of some people who did not love the truth, and who did not want their sins of lust and greed exposed in comparison to the Love of God they were supposed to be living and teaching. So they changed it.

I say, "CHANGE IT BACK!" Read it as Love. Alexander's Aramaic version has Exodus 3:14 as, "Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh," which means: (1) "Ahiyeh": "the One Who Comes in His Coming," the absolute sense of "the One Who Comes." (2) "Ashur": "the Beginning Spark that kindles the Fire" or "the Light." (3) "Hiyeh": "His Coming." (4) "Ahiyeh" and "hiyeh" are related forms of the same word. They mean more than "the Coming." They signify also the "Eternal Presence," "the Ever-Present," and the "Never Ceasing Intent of the Comer to Come." (5) In the same way, "Ashur" signifies "the Uncreated Creator who Creates Everything from Nothing." (6) Also, "Ashur" signifies: "Above-the-Flames."--BUT ALL THIS AS LOVE. E.g., "the Impassioned One Who becomes in His loving, the absolute sense of the Impassioned One Who Loves." "The beginning spark of Love that kindles the Fire of Love." "The Eternal, Ever-Present Love," and "the Never Ceasing Intent of the Lover to Love."

This is speculation, to be sure. I cannot say with any assurance that God communicated to Moses in the Arabic language of Midian. But I can say with assurance that God is Love, with hundreds of verses and examples from the Scriptures to back it up. We know from those. We know from experience. Read it in, and do it out. Love.

John 3:14 Moses and the Torah: Our Commission to Testify

Moses was forty years in Midian, where through the proto-Arabic speaking Midianites and his relatives he discovered God's evidence in this world, the Light of Life--the Torah--God's Love for mankind. Moses wrote about God's Love, the Torah--the Light of Life--in testimonies and stories about his relatives and ancestors in the Pentateuch. He "lifted the darkness" in man by these stories and testimonies. Jesus said that this is how we are to lift the Son of Man to dispel the darkness and lead people to eternal life in the Holy Spirit: testify, report, tell true stories of His wonderous works. NO ONE CAN COME TO JESUS EXCEPT THE FATHER DRAW THEM, AND THESE TESTIMONIES ARE HOW THE FATHER DRAWS THEM!

John 3:14 is mistranslated in every English translation except Victor N. Alexander's translation of John from the ancient Aramaic. It's got nothing to do with a brazen serpent on a pole lifted up for sinners to see; it's writing stories, testifying, reporting about experiencing Jesus in our real lives LIKE MOSES WROTE THE TORAH. "This Gospel shall be published in all the world . . . "

"And just as Moses lifted the darkness by the light of life, this is how you should glorify* the Son of Man. So that every human [being] who believes in him does not [go to] oblivion, except that they may have life everlasting*. For this is how [much] God loved humanity, that he gave forth his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him does not perish*, except that they may have life everlasting" (John 3:14-16 Alexander).

Give words about Jesus for God to confirm that people may believe and be saved. Hey, we get to play Moses!

There are Parallels of Being in the One, All Being the Same Thing

What the Ineffable is, Its manifestation is:

"I AM (what) THAT 'I AM' (is)."

If the nature of the Ineffable is impassioned, the nature of Its manifestation is also impassioned, hence,

"My Passion is the Passion of All."

"I Love Love."

"The Manifestation of Love in My Creation is ME."

"I Provide Because I Love."

Misguided and Misgodded

The article YHWH: The Original Arabic Meaning of the Name has proposed that when in Exodus 3:14 Moses asked God what His name was, and God answered, "'Ehyeh 'Asher 'Ehyeh," that both Moses and God were speaking a proto-Arabic language. Moses was close to forty years in an Arabic culture in an Arabic country speaking the Arabic language, and was speaking to the Arabic God--it was an Arabic world--so yeah, okay, maybe Moses and God did hold the conversation in the Arabic language well over three thousand years ago. And in the intervening three thousand-plus years we have been told that they spoke Hebrew, God saying something along the line of "I AM THAT I AM." It has been on the Hebrew meaning of the words we have built our theology and have understood our place and purpose. And maybe we have been wrong--misguided and misgodded. We make a big thing out of the authority and power of the Great I AM and our being His manifestation, His agents in this world. What if in proto-Arabic we are supposed to be something else, something other than we are? Talk about God being patient!

"In 1956, Shelomo Dov Goitein (1900-1985), a scholar of both Jewish and Arabic studies, suggested that the name derives from the Arabic root h.w.y (هوى), and the word hawaya (هوايا), which means “love, affection, passion, desire” (emphasis mine). God was saying that He is that--love, affection, passion, and desire? That's His name, his nature? That is what we are supposed to be the image of? Maybe that is why God's first commandment was "Multiply and increase, and fill the earth and its environments, and have authority over the fish in the sea and the birds of the sky and the four-legged animals and all the creatures that crawl over the earth."* (Genesis 1:28 Alexander). We were supposed to moralize them, so the lion would lie with the lamb? Maybe. We might supposed to be the manifestation of God's holiness in love, affection, passion, and desire. Do you recall Jesus saying anything about that in His corrective visit to His people? Something along the line of "Go, and sin no more." Maybe that old JEWISH Law Moses gave on relations was on the up and up, eh? Love, affection, passion, and desire in strict HOLINESS. Impassioned benevolence, holy beneficence. Is that what we are supposed to be imagining, creating? Where did we go wrong? If the conversation was in proto-Arabaic, we know EXACTLY where.

YHWH as the Reason to Love

I am not knocking AHYH (Ehyeh) meaning "I AM" nor YHWH meaning "He is," as they do in the Oracles of the Jews. It is just that God does not seem to make as big a deal about His being the Uncaused Cause of Everything as He does about His being the source of Love and the reason for loving. God's revealing Himself in Arabic in Exodus 3:14 to be the Impassioned Consciousness of the Ineffable makes more sense.

"Do not worship another god, because the Lord's name is Devoted,* for He is the God of Devotion" (Exodus 34:14 Alexander). God is not jealous of any other god; He is impassioned, devoted to His loved ones. He is impassioned benevolence; this is His nature.

"And the Lord descended in a cloud and stood with him there and called the name of the Lord* (note the Trinity here). The Lord, then, passed before him, and the Lord declared, "The Lord is Merciful, Gracious, Generous* of Spirit -- His Grace and Zeal are bountiful; Who safeguards grace for thousands of generations,* who forgives sins and obligations, but who absolutely does not sanctify* [those who sin and fail their duties;] however, He does command the love of parents upon their children and upon their children's children, to the third and fourth generations" Exodus 34:5-7 Alexander, emphasis and parenthesis mine). Notice how this verse has been mistranslated in every other translation!

"[My] beloved, love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves, is born from God and knows God. Because God is love, and whoever loves not, knows not God. By this is demonstrated* the love of God for us, that God sent His only Son to the world so that we may live in His hand.* This is how love was born,* it was not that we loved God, except it was God who loved us and sent us His Son redeemer* on behalf of our sins.* [My beloved,] if God loves us like this, (and) we too ought to love one another. God no human being has ever seen. But if we love one another, God shall strengthen Himself in us and His love shall be fulfilled through us.* And by this we know that we have been strengthened by Him and He is strengthened in us, that of His Spirit He gives us. And we have seen and we testify that the Father sent His Son, Savior of the universe.* Whoever confesses in Jesus, that their ultimate hope is the Son of God, God shall strengthen Himself in them, and they shall be strengthened in God. And we believed and understood the love that there is with God, our Advocate*. For God is love and whoever is strengthened in Love, shall be strengthened in God. And through this is fulfilled His love in us, that we can [stand] with exposed faces on the Day of Judgment, for just as He had, so also we have come into this world. There is no submission* in love, except love [that is] wholesome*, throws out submissiveness because submission has its torment. For whoever submits out of fear (i.e., Pharisaicly, because God is the Great "I AM" uncaused cause), is not filled* with love. We therefore love God like this, because from the first He loved us. If these a human being says that "I love God," but hates their brother, they are liars. For if they do not love their brother who is visible, how can they find it possible to love God who is invisible? And this commandment we received from him, that whoever loves God, loves also their brother." (1 John 4:7-21 Alexander, emphases and parenthesis mine).

Perhaps manifestation is not by the Law of Assumption as much as it is by the Law of Love.

"Amen, amen, I say to you, if [the] human [being] is not born from above*, they cannot see the Kingdom of God. . . . Whoever is born of the Spirit, is of the Spirit. Do not be surprised that [they] tell you, that it is expected of you to be born from above. The Spirit moves [you] for [the sake of] its own fulfillment. . . . Just as Moses lifted the darkness by the light of life (LOVE!!), this is how you should glorify* the Son of Man. So that every human [being] who believes in him does not [go to] oblivion, except that they may have life everlasting*. For this is how [much] God loved humanity, that he gave forth his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him does not perish*, except that they may have life everlasting. For God did not send his Son to the world* to condemn people, except that people shall live* by his hand*" (John 3:3, 6-8, 14-17 Alexander, emphases and parenthesis mine).

"If I speak in every human language and that of the angels, and yet I have no love in me, it is as though I were like bronze that reverberates or cymbals that make noise. And if there is in me prophesy and I know all the sermons and have all knowledge, and if there was in me all the faith, whereas I could move a mountain, and yet there was no love in me, I would be nothing. And if I fed everything to the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, and yet there was no love in me, I would again be nothing. Love transforms the spirit and fulfills it. Love is not bigoted. Love does not burden, nor curry favor. And [love] does not set conditions and does not act selfishly, and it does not find fault,* And [love] does not rejoice in abomination, except delights in sincerity. [Love] ministers to everything, trusts in everything, wherever there is hope, wherever there is sacrifice. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:1-8 Alexander).

Time would fail me if I were to try to list everything the Bible says of the Love of God. But I recently watched a YouTube video (Man Dies; Shown Shocking Truth About Creation And Why Were Here [NDE]) where the guy (Vinny Tolman) died and experienced the Love of God in the light emanating from everything in heaven (21:00 in the video). At least listen from 10:00, or especially 14:20--we are here to create and embody Love like the Source we are OF.

YHWH, The Arabic Impassioned God

Here is another article on YHWH being the God of the Arabic-speaking Midianites Moses lived with for forty years before the Hebrew exodus from Egypt:

https://www.haaretz.com/archaeology/2018-04-11/ty-article-magazine/.premium/jewish-god-yahweh-originated-in-canaanite-vulcan-says-new-theory/0000017f-dc86-d3ff-a7ff-fda6aa390000

Hey, if God in you can prove He is God with you, whether in the desert, on a mountain, or on an island in the ocean, go with it. What is so strange about the true God being found by desert nomads who depended so heavily upon Him? What did they find? That God is their guide, their protector in storms, wars, and famine, that He gave them success, that He is the Great Provider: Eil Shaddai. That God is someone to be grateful to. Abraham believed He could raise the dead. But they didn't know that God LOVED them, that He was YHWH: the Impassioned One who LOVES them.

Oops. In editing I wrote that paragraph a second time. This is how I first wrote it:

So what did the Kenites, Midianites, and Yehwaites learn about YHWH? They learned that He was there for them in the barren desert, in storms and in wars. He gave them success. He was a guide, a protector, and a savior. He was to the desert dwellers Eil Shaddai, the Provider. Is it strange that those who must depend upon God should find Him? It was to Moses He first revealed that He was YHWH, the Impassioned One who loves His creation, His Manifestation. I hold that biblical names reflect their characters' natures. Perhaps 'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh should be translated "I Love It," and YHWH "He Loves," for God's nature is Love.

First aside: The above linked article states that the Kenites were descendants of Cain. I think Noah would care to dispute that. The Kenite name was derived from the Arabic cain, which meant smith. They were copper smiths. See Wikipedia article on Kenites.

The Forty Missing Years of Moses, and YHWH as a protoArabic Name: God Becoming by LOVE

I think I have finally "got" the author's point. The article is YHWH: The Original Arabic Meaning of the Name. Arabic in Exodus? Heresy! Well, no, maybe not.

Moses was raised in the Egyptian Royal household. He was a master of the Egyptian religions. After he murdered an Egyptian, he escaped to Midian. There he was satisfied to sit with Jethro, the king-priest of the Midians. The Midians spoke a type of protoArabic. Moses wasn't in Kansas anymore--he was in Yehwa, and there he learned their language, their customs, and their religion. And Moses learned of his ancestors who had lived in the area: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel), and of his relatives who still lived there, such as Job. Moses was in Midian for forty years, and for those forty years he spoke ARABIC. So odd: when I saw them on TV, they all spoke perfect English.

During this forty years in Arabic-speaking Midian, Moses approached Mount Horeb, which Jesus in a portal informed him was holy. Whoops. Wait. What? You are wondering what language Jesus spoke when He informed Moses that he was standing on holy ground, right? The idea is that the mountain was holy to the Midians, that they and Moses spoke Arabic, and that Jesus spoke to Moses in Arabic. So when Moses asked, "What is your name?" Jesus answered in ARABIC. Ehyeh doesn't mean "I AM" in Arabic; it means "Impassioned."

Again, from https://www.thetorah.com/article/yhwh-the-original-arabic-meaning-of-the-name:

An Arabic Name אֶהְיֶה

If YHWH’s origins are in the Nomad-land of Yehwa among the Midianites, then the meaning of the name should be from the Arabic language family rather than the Hebrew language family. This further calls into question the etymology in Exodus 3 of the Tetragrammaton from ה.ו.י, “to be,” since, unlike Hebrew and Aramaic, Proto-Arabic does not have the root ה.ו.י for the word “to be” (emphasis mine).

The Jealous God

In 1956, Shelomo Dov Goitein (1900-1985), a scholar of both Jewish and Arabic studies, suggested that the name derives from the Arabic root h.w.y (هوى), and the word hawaya (هوايا), which means “love, affection, passion, desire.” He connected this suggestion with the passage in Exodus 34, in a set of laws known by scholars as the Ritual Decalogue. One of the laws, which forbids Israel to worship other gods, reads:

שמות לד:יד כִּי לֹא תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לְאֵל אַחֵר כִּי יְ־הוָה קַנָּא שְׁמוֹ אֵל קַנָּא הוּא.

"Exod 34:14 For you must not worship any other god, because YHWH, whose name is Impassioned, is an impassioned God."

Goitein suggests that “YHWH whose name is Impassioned” refers to the deity’s personal name YHWH, which means “the Impassioned One,” and that this name derives from that (proto)Arabic term for passion. This reflects the idea that YHWH’s bond with his worshipers is one of passionate love, and YHWH is upset if the worshipers “cheat” by worshipping other gods (emphases mine).

In other words, the worshippers’ relationship with YHWH must be exclusive. Moreover, according to Goitein, this exclusivity demanded by YHWH goes back to his appearance as a god among nomadic, Arabian tribes.

From me:

God’s declaration ehyeh is a form of the root “to be” (hayah, Strong's 1961) in HEBREW. In Aramaic, ahiyeh means "the One Who Comes in His Coming," the absolute sense of "the One Who Comes" (Alexander's footnote on Exodus 3:14). I think all three meanings can be applied to the idea of assumption. God assumes the actual existence of what He imagines BY LOVING IT to the degree of it becoming manifest. He becomes what He LOVES!! He is the one who comes in His coming . . . in the absolute sense of becoming His PASSION.

You want to manifest? Do not want; know exactly what you LOVE, go to your unconditioned awareness of being, become IMPASSIONED with its existence, and with gratitude, once the boat floats . . . forget about it.

YHWH Isn't, "I AM" ; It's He Is, THEN "I AM"

Despite Neville's emphatic assertions, the Hebrew word YHWH does NOT mean "I AM."  Yod-hey-vav-hey is THIRD PERSON: "He is."  But hang on.  YHWH has become us; He is creating this world by our imaginations.  However, what we want, He has to become FIRST.  What I want, His unconditioned awareness of being first has to become conditioned to being.  Get the order: first, "He is (has become) what I want," then, what He is, I AM.  DO NOT FORGET THE ORDER AND ROUTE.  Read the first three chapters of Your Faith Is Your Fortune, where Neville goes over this.

The Lie Satan Told Eve Was That We Are NOT God (and the ignorant kid [our imagination] believed it)

There are three parts to God: the Ineffable No-thing, Its Consciousness, and Its Manifestation--all one big thing. The Ineffable extends Itself by becoming what It imagines. It imagines It is us, and voila, here we are: It becoming It.

Our ignorance says, "Oh, no. You are not God. You are not the Ineffable, Its Consciousness, and not Its Manifestation." OUR IGNORANCE CALLS GOD A LIAR.

Check it out. The Devil believed that he was SEPARATE from God and could become LIKE God, could even take God's place. He was not satisfied with his place. In pride, he left his estate. He got Eve to believe she was separate from God, unloved, and to feel dissatisfied with her estate. For this he was made a serpent.

My point: Do not yourself INVENT separation from God for the sake of "orthodoxy," for you are then calling God a liar!! Recognize that you ARE one with God and be SATISFIED with your place, GRATEFUL for your estate.

"Jesus replied and declared. 'Was it not ten that were healed? Where are the other nine? For what [reason] they refused to come and give glory to God, except for this one who is from a foreign nation?' And he told him, 'Get up [and] go, your faith has given you Life'" Luke 17:17-19 Alexander). Life = Oneness in the One; conscious awareness of NOT being separate from God. He doesn't enliven us by remote control, but from His Life WITHIN us.

SATAN'S LIE IS THAT WE ARE SEPARATE FROM GOD, THAT HE DOES NOT LOVE US.

The Bug-a-boo About Being Bugged

This is a world of assumption become. What we believed now IS. If something bugs us, we bitch about it. Do you see the problem already? Our bothers bug us, and we think about them--believe they are impacts and constraints--INCESSANTLY. And ta da!, they are. The assumption becomes, continues to become, real.

Faith is the belief that assumption is done, so assume that what WOULDN'T bug you is the state you are in. Quit your bitching. You do not do the fix. You ASK God, believing, and believe the answer is affirmative.

Not Without Reason: The Field of Zoan and Miracles--Something to Believe in Him For

The plagues of Egypt were for Israel. The Egyptians (not the people who live there now) did not get much out of the plagues. God displayed His power and glory for the sake of the children of Israel. The plagues were meant to impress the children. A pillar of fire, a cloud by day, the horse and rider in the sea, a mountain on fire with a great voice that terrified--these were little somethings God gave "to remember Me by." But Israel ". . . remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy, how he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan" (Psalm 78:42-43 KJV). Zoan was the capital of Egypt, of the Axis of Evil, if you would. God destroyed it to give the children reason to believe. It is detrimental to forget such a great gift as redemption by power.

God does not expect us to believe without reason. "They then went out, and preached every place, and the Lord helped them and began filling them with signs that they performed" (Mark 16:20 Alexander). The signs confirmed the Apostles' words. Confirm = give reason to believe. "And he told them, 'Go to all people and preach my faith in all creation. Whoever believes and declares it, shall Live (have Eternal Life), and whoever does not believe, will be held accountable. Signs then to those that believe, they who adhere to us'" (Mark 16:15-17a Alexander). This was and is the evangelists' bread and butter: "signs then to those who believe." If you believe and declare it, adhering to them, you get signs and wonders--healings and miracles--that confirm your words to your audience. It isn't the evangelist who does it--he or she just  preaches adhering. It is God Who gives the reasons, the miracles.

God gives us reasons to believe. As if the stars in the heavens and life itself were not enough. Look for them. Stories of ghosts and psychic phenomena first interested me. The opening of my mind's eye and a friend's miraculous healing made the phenomena immediate and personal. The baptism in the Holy Spirit and hearing Jesus' voice audibly I could write off as imagination-based psychological aberrations, but watching my fingertips grow out while intently holding deathly still was PHYSICAL. He transcended His power to accomplish that on and in ME. THAT I cannot forget.

You want to believe? Hang with people who believe, who live in--are conscious of--the Bible world. Ask God for a sign and be open both to seeing it and/or having seen it: "Who is it, my Lord, so I may believe in Him!" Jesus told him, "You have seen him, and he who speaks with you happens to be him." (John 9:36-37 Alexander, emphasis mine). Jesus gave the guy a reason to believe every day he saw!

Heading For Healing 33c: The Symbolic is Illustrative of the Real

Unlike some of my ilk, I believe in real human history, our shared physical experience. Dimensional "historic" reality is, in my view, going along with the bigger reality of all manifest states being imagined by the Ineffable No-thing we are--it just takes a bigger God to accommodate both, and I believe God is real big.

Thus in Heading For Healing 33b, I speak of Satan, God, and Jesus Christ as real people. But I recognize that the STORIES we have are symbolic representations illustrating both the physical realities of historic events and the spiritual "etheric" values they manifest. May I say that in reverse? There is the reality of the Consciousness of the Ineffable No-thing, there is Its imagined state and Its historical manifestation, and there are the symbolic stories written to illustrate both the historic manifestations that were and the spiritual realities they manifested. I didn't say that it is simple.

What I am saying is that the great redemption illustrated symbolically in the Bible has behind it a much greater spiritual reality. It reflects an actual state of God Almighty, the result of Its Self-generative actions: for Itself, It has eliminated ignorance. For ourselves, not so much, but it is extendable, available, and destined to us. Ultimately, the Divine Mind is our reality.

If we could look at a cross section of the Consciousness of the Ineffable, we would see that the Ignorance vibe has been eliminated completely. No more interference and distraction from it. Doubt, corruption and rebellion will not easily raise their heads again, except as we go through further refinements and create them. There is a challenge there! We have to apply ourselves to faith. Don't give Satan an inch! "Begone! I AM healed!"

Heading For Healing 33b: Major on the Great Degree of God's Redemption of Man, of YOU

I have been trying to figure out the William Marrion Branham technique of healing. T. L. and Daisy Osborn shared how they were inspired and challenged by Branham's teaching that illness and disease were introduced with sin by Satan in the Garden of Eden. Because of God's redemption of man by the sacrifice of Christ, all that is GONE. Satan hasn't got squat for rights. Guilt of sin is done away with. Illness and disease can only be foisted on us if we, in ignorance, accept Satan's lie that he has anything like authority in this world. Grasping Branham's understanding of the magnitude of man's redemption by God, its comprehensiveness, the Osborns (among many others) set themselves into action, preaching and teaching God's love, Christ’s sacrifice, and healing thousands.

Except it isn't that easy or effective. Many hear, are even proclaimed healed, and either stay sick or return to states of illness. The Kingdom of God has to do with attitudes. I do not think that people fail to get healed because of lack of faith, but for incomprehension of the degree of God's redemption. It was and is a big thing, but it is remote to them. We need to unremote it, make the big thing immediate.

I ask you to work on trying to comprehend the magnitude of the redemption worked in Christ. We have errant ideas and images--revamp them. Do you see Jesus alone on the cross, rejected of God? Do you see God as somewhat uninvolved, Jesus set to go through this torment on his own? Leon Morris says in The Apostolic Peaching of the Cross (1965. Grand Rapids: Wm. B. Eerdman Publishing Co. (London: Tyndale Press). pg. 24), "There is . . . the underlying thought that YAHWEH IS BESTIRRING HIMSELF ON HIS PEOPLE'S BEHALF; IT IS NO ORDINARY ACTIVITY THAT IS IN MIND" (emphases mine). God is not sitting on His throne; He has stood up; this act is the crux of the plan of heaven from before that the world was! The universe is being changed, fulfilled--the Manifestation He is after . . . is come.

If you accept the primacy of the ancient Aramaic text, you do not hear Jesus crying, "Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani?"--"My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34 KJV). You hear Jesus declaring to God, "Eil, Eil, l'mana sh'wik-thani," which is to say, "He Is, He Is, wherefore I glorify Me!" (my take on Alexander, September 20, 2010, Translator Notes, "The God of Abraham") (i.e., "Here I fulfill My destiny!") God has not stepped away, He has stepped INTO--"I in You, and You in Me."

If you get my drift, God was not out of it, but was into it; as invested in redeeming us on Calvary as when He plagued Egypt in the field of Zoan to redeem the children of Israel (Psalm 78:42-43). Zoan was the capital of Egypt, and God decimated it. Satan was decimated, too. Nothing was left. NOTHING WAS LEFT!! THAT is what we need to grasp: Satan--our and God's ignorance--was removed from our blame. We are back to the day before the apple. No demon or devil can say, "I have got a right." God says, "No, you don't. I say, NONE!!"

Knowing this, Branham adjured the spirits of infirmity to leave. They had to, their head has been crushed.
