Two Ends in the One and the Season of Grace

What is the Season of Grace? I borrowed the term from something I think I saw written by Victor N. Alexander. I have never been able to find it again, but the basic idea is that the seventy weeks of years of the Daniel chapter 9 serve as a snapshot of the history of Israel, Israel being an everyman of humanity. If I may illustrate: you have had life experiences up until now, and you will have an end. Today, though, I present you a play depicting your whole life from beginning to end. Interestingly, the play has two ends. In one, Daniel 9:24, Jesus died in your stead, was buried, rose from the dead, and ascended to the right of God WITH YOU, if you believe, rendering you the righteousness of God (you want to be in that boat). The other end is Daniel 9:26-27--evacuation, killing, and desolation for you, the enemy of God (a good boat to miss).

At the end of the play, Jesus read from the Scroll of Isaiah: "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord" (Isaiah 61:1-2a KJV). "The acceptable year of the Lord" could be your end. The rest of the verse 2, "and the day of vengeance of our God," could be your end, too. It was the end for those who rejected Christ. Both ends are going to happen. It is your choice which one will be yours.

Apology

It is kind of weird and awkward that now I look up, and here is broaching the mark of the beast with a living Artificial Intelligence image being set up as an actual lord god of a world religion ready to be enforced with my choice of either acceptance or death. I think that perhaps I have been too much like a frog enjoying the hot tub over a burner. For if we are now so near the "fer real" Revelation 13:14-15, the rest of the Bible was and IS true, too. The Day is far spent, and a lot of opportunity and responsibility has slipped away under my feet. Have my eyes been on the wrong visions, on empty vanities? I teach that this is actually the Bible world, and yet its values I have discounted, its responsibilities I have taken too lightly--and I was wrong to do so. Apologies are in order to everyone I didn't get the message to.

The message is that God has crucified Himself upon the flesh of man and has suffered all for him. All sin of all flesh is upon Him, and payment has been made in full--man is redeemed to the full extent of God. Believing (the only "price," and it given), man maybe forgiven, imbued with the Holy Ghost and with Power--regenerated--to do the will of God.

Jesus Christ did not walk into my bedroom at six o'clock in the morning like He did with T. L. Osborn, but hearing about it from T. L., I didn't do what he did. He started a life-long campaign to convert and heal the world. Shame on me. I have been floating, skating, excusing, escaping; when I should have been studying, praying, teaching, and preaching. Most anybody knows me as a Christian, but few have heard my reasoning, my rational, my testimony, my proofs (if something ACTS, it is REAL).

Learning that God is a real thing AND our imagination, Neville Goddard studied relentlessly. He didn't just practice the Law of Assumption, he rented halls and taught what he learned. He lectured, wrote books and pamphlets, and he broadcast on the radio and television. He left his recorded wealth of knowledge in the public domain where scores of people continue to publish it.

I might have done a lot of things. I apologize if I was in your proximity and did not tell you about Jesus' death and the salvation, provision, and healing it afforded you. I am sorry if you were lonely or in need and I was near and could have helped, but didn't get out of "my" world. I am sorry I did not help flood the world with good, insightful Christian literature and evangelical teachers. I am sorry I did not have more than spare change when I walked by you begging. I guess it is time to make my execution worth the Beast's time.

Two Different True Histories

No character of scripture was a real person. But I firmly believe in them. The real people in what we call secular history caused them. Real people MAKE what is going on. Sacred history EXPLAINS it. Our real life actions and beliefs cause it. Not because we are God, but because God is God, and He is us.

Back in Daniel 9 there was a Season of Grace determined. Verse 24:

"Seventy seventies shall rest upon your nation and upon the town of your reverence* (that you revere), so as the obligations may be concluded and the sins may be curtailed, so that the abominations shall be abandoned, and that they may usher in the eternal righteousness, such as the vision and the prophesies* (the Prophets) may be fulfilled, and to the Anointed One we may commit our blessings" (Alexander).

That Season came and went. Have you noticed that obligations have been concluded and sins are curtailed and the eternal righteousness has been ushered in? No, the place went to hell in a handbasket. The Season of Sacred history was the explanation of the secular history WHICH IS STILL GOING ON FORMING IT. We are still in the causing of what was written. God help us when they get together.

The Reward of Believing in Your Redemption

I guess I have posted about the Greek word euaggelion meaning the reward given for bringing good tidings a couple of dozen times. The reward is being God's righteousness. Bringing good tidings is our belief. IF WE DELIVER THE BELIEF, WE THEN, PRESENTLY, REAP THE REWARD -- GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS. Right now this minute where we stand we are the righteousness of God, if we believe.

Positive Confession

I have to say something about positive confession. I discovered in the baptism in the Holy Spirit that God is real. I mean real in like present, conscious, and powerful. He is within us, and we are His best. One sort of positive confession is to profess what is true about God: "You are present, conscious, and powerful within me, and I am your best for this." One thing that has come up is invisible beings. Entities, spirits, angels--whatever you want to call them. They aren't Him. They may do things, but God is the SOURCE of all things and all beings. When exalting Him, keep Him up there in the Source category.

As much as I have thought about the incomprehensible greatness of the Ineffable Who is present, conscious, and powerful within us, though, He has kind of said, "No, not that." The positive confession I am to work on is the completeness, the thoroughness, and the perfection of His redemption of us through the death of Jesus Christ. In that He didn't miss a thing. That is why I had all those videos about William Marrion Branham in the last post. Billy got it. The greatness of his redemption was his confession: "What Adam was before the Fall, I AM."

The Fall allowed Satan to attack man, to trip him up, to disease him. Satan (yes, I still believe that he is but our amnesia-caused ignorance from our flip into this) could afflict us because we were guilty of being unlike God. Jesus' work was complete: the difference was PAID. All unlikeness can be forgiven, and then there you are, before Him unguilty. 100%. 100% unguilty, with Him present, conscious, and powerful within, and you His best.

Confess REDEMPTION, yourself REDEEMED.

PS: This is a great video. I keep watching it, going back and forth hear this bit or that quote again and again. You can see that he (T.L. Osborn) was getting old, but the fire was still there. Inspiring!! "Christianity is a miracle way of life, and without miracles Christianity is only a philosophy" (21:50 - 22:30: T.L. Osborn / Walking In Power / #HeroesOfTheFaith / The Believers' Mission Of Healing). Also gained much from 29:44 - 42:15. Right about 30 is a great quote.

Heading For Healing 33a: Conform to the SOURCE by Belief

I wanted to say something enlightening about confession. I had two ways to go: the recognition of God's Glory such as I professed when I faced Him just prior to my baptism in the Holy Ghost, or the proclamation of our redemption AND RESTORATION to the state we held BEFORE THE FALL.

As for the first, when at Grace Bible Church in Honolulu I knelt before a folding chair to ask Jesus for the gift of tongues, I did not know that I had "given" myself to God conditionally. If I did not like what He did with me, I was going to take myself back. In other words, I had not given myself to Him at all. I had retained my own self-lordship. I had not appreciated Him-with-Whom-I-was-doing. And of course God would not accept me at all.

There was quite a spiritual adventure that took place within me to get me to the place where I recognized and accepted, in full surrender and humble submission, that "You are Glorious God; I am a mud-man. Whatever you tell me to do, that I will do." I was in my mind head-bowed before a great felled tree, reverentially afraid to look up at the red-gold glow spreading across sky above me--His very presence in my perception. I was dealing with the Being Who is the Source of all worlds, the Great "I AM," Eil-Shaddai. OMG, I had "given" myself--the life He had given me--to God Almighty, the Source of my life, as His PEER!! Talk about contrition and repentance! Inside I was gob-smacked right on my face on the floor, below it if possible. THAT Him--the Almighty Glorious God--that Him Whom we live for and serve, should be our constant confession. But that wasn't what I wanted to say.

I wanted to marry that understanding of God's primacy with the fullness and completeness of our redemption in Jesus Christ. Because we are redeemed by Jesus Christ--have BEEN fully and completely 100% redeemed by His blood (if indeed we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior)--we have been restored to that state we enjoyed before the Satan-led rebellion and our fall.

You can read what I have said about Satan being our ignorance and etheric-like existences/states we deal with as people, but my point is that our perception and confession should be our restored "redeemed-by-the-Blood-of-the-Lamb" state with our Father, the Almighty Source Of All Existence. To that end, here are some Youtube videos about this doctrine espoused by William Marrion Branham:

What I came up with is the realization that ours is a religion and relation of BELIEFS. BELIEVING is our paramount ACTION, for it is the paramount action of the Ineffable Being: It believes, and It IS. Isn't the Game of Life to believe? To believe aright, that is, per the Source, according to His Word what is right. By our beliefs we are condemned, by our beliefs we are saved, and by our beliefs we are CONFORMED to the nature of the (...?), the No-thing we are to be the Manifestation of. We are not being conformed to the nature of the things of this world, nor to the natures of things in the invisible worlds; we are becoming conformed to the nature of the Source of all these things, the No-thing, the Source of all Consciousness. It is He with Whom we have to do. And all He is asking is that we BELIEVE.

"God," the CONSCIOUSNESS of the Ineffable (...?), is an ETHER-like Medium We are "Persons"/Manifestations OF

I am thinking of blogging less often to concentrate on some much needed language study. But first I have some pressing things to say:

You might be like countless others who imagine Jesus advocating for us before the throne of God in Heaven, where God is seated on a glass sea, AS IF THE FATHER AND JESUS WERE NOT HERE. But of course they are here. Neville Goddard said, "If I use the word 'God', or the word 'Christ', the word 'Jesus', the word "Lord', and in any way it conveys the sense of an existent someone or something outside of yourself, you have the wrong concept of God or Christ!

We are told, ‘Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? Do you not realize that you are the temple of the living God, and the spirit of God dwells in you?’" (--A Standing Order, emphasis mine.) Many people--myself included--visually imagine God and Jesus, angels etc., as localized beings limited in their physical presence. People tell the most fantastic stories of spirit persons, but these appearances are IMAGININGS. Even if localized manifestations DO exist, they are manifestations of ethereal presences. God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are everywhere at all times. They are like the etheric (i.e., the ethers are like Them: the world is IMAGIC). What we call "God" is, I believe, the Consciousness of the Ineffable Being. The Ineffable Being's consciousness is Its real manifestation, and we are manifestations of That. God is not only "a" spirit, He is ALL the spirits. There simply is not anything else but the Ineffable Being and Its consciousness.. The Consciousness of the Ineffable Being is ALL spirits in all fields, mediums, and states at all levels in all universes throughout all time. Nothing else even thinks to exist. And we--all the spirits--exist in Him as ethers; ethers which imagine as He does.

We are invisible spirit ether-like qualities of the Ineffable Being's consciousness imagining ourselves to be experiences. This is not to say that these experiences are not real; it is just that God is big enough to have these experiences in physical universes (and beings) He has imagined and assumed into existence. Everything is in reality etherical, and yet we deal with each as a "thing." Yes, I do hear Plato saying, "Told ya."

The Consciousness of the Ineffable Being is all types, levels, and forms of Its etheric forces. I think I read something about the Tree of Life having all knowledge of the good and of the evil. If all possibilities were stacked from greatest evil on the bottom to greatest good on the top, and we were somewhere in the middle, which way would you like to go? Ignorance is that low level of God which would drag us down; Jesus is that high level of God which would draw us higher. Well, God's end has already been determined: He has determined Himself--all levels of the etheric--to wind up good only. He has already decided to completely eliminate the evil. Knowing evil will help get us back to Paradise, but then it is gone: "He has nothing in Me." While I am hoping to be able someday to say that about Satan, I can say for myself in Jesus, "He has everything in me."

Speaking of moving up or down, the Law of Attraction moves us either way. It ought not move us down, but I think that is what happens when the Law of Assumption is used for selfish greed. Use the Law of Assumption to move all towards the greatest good. It isn't about getting things; it's about making progress.

The Creature Who Became The Serpent in Genesis 3

There was a creature which at the end of Genesis chapter 3 became the "serpent." This creature was the serpent at the time of Genesis 3's writing, so that author said, "And the serpent rose higher than all the creatures of the wilderness, that the Lord God created, and the serpent said to the wife, 'Did God truly say that you should not eat from all the trees of Paradise?'" The creature was not a serpent when it dealt with Adam and Eve in the Garden, but became a serpent after the curse and was a serpent at the time of the writing. Was the creature Lucifer a la Isaiah 14:12-15? It does not appear that this creature/serpent has a very good future.

While I am writing this, I am thinking how this etheric quality could be in us unto its eventually being totally vanquished from us. It is important that our etheric qualities are going/being developed in the opposite direction.

The Standing Orders, or, "Because I Say So" --God

I believe that Exodus is the first book of the Pentateuch, not because it begins with an aleph and Genesis begins with a bet, but because Moses learned about God in Exodus. He then put what he learned about God in Genesis, and wisely, humbly put that more important information up front where it couldn't be missed. I noted in Do Not Blame God; The Curse Was OUR Choice: An Open Letter To Michaël that WE CHOSE to live under the curse in order to gain eternal life. "Gotta pay your dues," you might say. This outlandish notion comes from reading Victor Alexander's translation of Genesis 1-3 from the ancient Aramaic (the Peshitta).

I noticed while contemplating these chapters that they end with what I recognize as standing orders: "And so the Lord God ejected him, and there shot up for them from the East of the Paradise of Eden the plants of carob and a perishable life at the edge of the sword, so as there would be one day a return to the way of the Tree of Life* (literal Aramaic idiomatic construction: And ejected him the Lord God, and climb up from the Easterlies the Paradise of Eden carob and the swords teeth and returnable would be to guard the road of the Tree of Life)" (Genesis 3:24 Alexander, emphasis mine).

Ejected on the earth, in ignorance under the curse WE CHOSE, life sucks. Carob is the garbage pods the prodigal son fed the pigs (Luke 15:16). Swords' teeth--thorns and thistles--are the difficulties and futility we have to face in this miserable existence. These are standing orders, the "death" Adam would die if they ate of the Tree of Life which gave knowledge of the good and of the evil. "You want to know the good and the evil like I do? Here ya go! See ya." Standing orders are CONSTANT. A soldier, sailor, airman or marine does not have to be told to wear his or her dog tags at all times, to salute superiors, to behave appropriately--these are STANDING ORDERS: "You WILL do them at all times." (Do you see Murphy's Law? Things have got to go wrong!) BUT THEY ARE T.A.D.—Temporary Assigned Duty.

Well, Adam ate of the tree which gives knowledge of the good and of the evil, the Tree of Life, to have eternal life. Thus we HAVE eternal life, and it is eternally a life that sucks until we get saved (Mark 3:29)--it's a standing order! Jesus Christ took the curse we chose upon Himself and ended it, and now lives to forgive us if we have had enough of it. The Son who will crush the Devil's head is another of the standing orders--He has done the crushing, and is in us with authority to forgive us, because He OWNS us. He is free to do it now, if you would like.

Ferrar Fenton was a scholar who recognized that the "Lord's Prayer" in Matthew 6:6-13 in the Greek language begins with affirming God's standing orders:
Our Father in the Heavens; Your Name must be being Hallowed;
Your Kingdom must be being restored.
Your Will must be being done both in Heaven and upon the Earth.

These standing orders correspond to the standing orders of Genesis. We wanted God's Eternal Life, to that end His Name must be being hallowed. We lost His Kingdom in taking up our own. HIS KINGDOM MUST BE BEING RESTORED. All that we experience in our cursed condition IS TO THAT END--the restoration of God's Kingdom in our lives--His will must be being done throughout the curse.

We chose. We ate. We flipped to the cursed state. We are eternal. We are here in this curse state, but we can be forgiven back to that state. Flipped back, for returnable is the way, this life can be as glorious as any life ever has been. IT IS OUR CHOICE. Choose.

Flat Earth, Round Manifestation

I received a gracious invite:

"Hello. Hope you are well. I have recently reached the conclusion that we are all the creator in tiny pieces. From there I have been creating my own beliefs around it but clearly it makes the most sense. Would you like to come on my show on YouTube for an hour or so just so I can ask you about this since you have known this much longer than I and can give some examples of why you reached this conclusion. Thanks."

Scouting the show, I decided that at least for the present I have to decline (I do not have a camera, anyway):

"Thank you, I am well. I think you are correct, we are the Creator in little pieces, and in all the pieces is all the Creator. I hold that our pieces have been "ignoranced" of our oneness with the rest of what we are--God. We and He are imagination, the imagination of the Consciousness of the infinite and eternal Ineffable Being. Literally zero distance from us to Him. But I also believe that the intelligence of the Ineffable Being's consciousness has the power to become what it assumes that it is. By this assumption it has become all the quantum mass we call matter. I.e., it is really there even though it is imagined (which is what assumption is). All this imagination-created matter facilitates the experience the Ineffable Being desires to have--Its manifestation. And here we are . . . that. He is imagining us imagining what we imagine, and thus it becomes.

"Why I believe this so strongly is response miracles: His literal, 'physical' voice manifesting in my brain when He visually in my fantasy dream spoke; and my watching my left-hand's fingertips growing out just over a half inch at the exact moment He was asked to make them the same length as my right hand's. You have a drawer in your desk. Imagine watching it move out just half an inch on its own. You'd be pretty convinced something or someone moved it. Jesus was asked, I watched them move, and I am convinced that I am as He thinks me.

"But no, I do not think I would be interested in being on your show, for I do not believe your personal ism is something I would like to support. (I referred this inquirer to Chuck Stockdale, who is more nearly aligned to his views.) I believe that we are manifestation, the PHYSICAL, THREE DIMENSIONAL form of the Ineffable. ALL the dimensions are the same Being! We are both up there AND down here. And hey, the tomb is ROUND. That's what I think, anyway.

"Thanks for writing. God bless."

Dan Steele

Do Not Blame God; The Curse Was OUR Choice: An Open Letter To Michaël

Michaël,

I am not at all familiar with French language Bibles. I have been contemplating Genesis chapters 1-3 in my English translation from the ancient Aramaic by Victor Alexander, and I am discovering some things new to me after 47 years of study.

God's curse on us and the crappy world we live in was our choice. Don't blame God for it. God told us not to do it, and we CHOSE to do it anyway--we elected this cursed world in order to get eternal life. In Genesis 2:17 God warns that eating of the Tree of Life (which gives knowledge of the good and of the evil) will cause "the death." The "death" is ignorance, the loss of awareness of unity with God. In Genesis 3:4, the being which became the Serpent said, "You will not really die, but you will become aware of the good and the evil and be like God." Genesis 3:22 says we CHOSE to know the good AND THE EVIL in order to live eternally like God--that is why WE took of the Tree of Life and ate. WE chose the curse! Since then we have been on earth ignorant of God, living in poverty, getting thorns and thistles--learning what is the good and the evil--SO THAT SOME DAY THESE CONDITIONS MAY LEAD US BACK TO THE WAY OF THE TREE OF LIFE (Genesis 3:24).

So, have we had enough of the curse yet? Has it served its purpose? The resurrected and ascended Jesus Christ established as Lord in Heaven is the END of our being cursed IF WE HUMBLE OURSELVES, SUBMIT AND TURN TO HIM as our Lord and Savior. He is the Way of the Tree of Life to us. We do not have to bear the curse anymore: He TOOK our curse upon Himself, died, was buried, resurrected, ascended, and now He may forgive us IF WE RECOGNIZE HIM AS OUR REPRESENTATIVE, LORD, and MASTER. Sounds like a deal to me. I'd go now.

5:48's Hit, and My Apology

I suppose some teacher or commenter put up a link to my post "The Prayer Technique Edited Out Of John 16:23-24," for suddenly I had thousands of hits on that one article. It usually gets a dozen or two. With all the visits there are some who will leave a comment or ask a question, both of which are much appreciated. There are sometimes trolls, too. I read the comment/outlandish rant from Anonymous 5:58, and concluded he (or she) was a troll.

I wrote pages of response correcting him, chastising him for not first reading and understanding what I had said in the post. Then I read again what he had said. Oh, he is right. Sort of. There is a misunderstanding from what I did not say correctly. Before I make that correction, let me entertain you with what Anonymous 5:48 said...

"No. You are 1000% wrong. He said "my name". Not your name. You sound like a false teacher. Are you really this illiterate or just plain corrupt? Jesus clearly states: "no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. "; so it would stand to make absolutely no heavenly sense that scripture instructs what you're attempting to convey here. There's multiple verses that fully contradict your asinine blasphemous interpretation; such as John 13: "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the SON (Jesus)..." not you or me! The Bible isn't some fill-in-the blank children's book for you to play with, insert whatever you like and misinterpret! This isn't a land of prophets. That time has long gone and passed. This is sadly now a world of false teachers and false prophets. And a modern world of posers walking around pretending and misleading others from the truth.

"John 14 "if ye shall ask any thing in MY NAME, I will do it." This and other gospels are clearly referring to Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach). You are not a God. You didn't die on the cross and you cannot save yourself but only through what Jesus did on the cross. Every word of you said is Gnostic heresy or Pneumatomachian heresy.

"You purposely misinterpret scripture and you need prayer. People like you are the blind leading the blind. You not only shouldn't be teaching holy scripture, but you shouldn't be teaching anyone about anything."

5:48 AM
___________________________________

At first I thought 5:48 was a mindless, immature, and illiterate Fundamentalist zealot who does not listen and consider what another Christian says before leaping onto their horse and riding off in all directions to attack "whatever." For that I owe him (or her) an apology. Sorry, 5:48 (but you have got to watch your language. Inflammatory speech like that does not do you any favors in getting your message across. Pneumatomachian? Me--a tongue-speaking Oneness Pentecostal? Big words do not really impress or make you sound smarter.)

Rereading the rant, I realized that 5:48 was concerned about praying in Jesus' name as opposed to praying in our own names--which of course I had not said. It took me awhile, honestly, to find the offending statement I had written in the post. I think it was this:

"Neville Goddard taught causative imagining. The premise is that we can create our futures by imagining."

Of course 5:48 is not familiar with Neville, and the problem here is semantic. 'Causative' and 'create' per Neville and my usage do not mean what 5:48 thinks they mean. By 'causative' is meant "directive," like a specific PETITION made in prayer unto Jesus. We THINK it, but He DOES it. And by 'create' is meant "write." We have the privilege of AUTHORING the future we desire in prayer, but it is Jesus who ORCHESTRATES the bridge of incidents that bring that future into being. WE DO NONE OF HIS PART. Voila! 5:48 and I are on the same page.

All this comes in response to Mark 11:24's "Believe ye receive." Mark 11:22. And Jesus replied and told them, "You should have faith in God. 23. For, amen, I am telling you, that whoever tells this mountain here, 'take up and fall into the sea,' and he does not doubt* (divide) in his heart, except he believes that what he says shall happen, he shall have what he says. 24. Because of this, I am telling you, that whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you will receive, and it shall be given to you" (Alexander, emphasis mine).

I agree with 5:48 that Braden seems to apply Klotz's extended John 16:23-24 in the Aramaic to the Law of Attraction where it does not belong, and I was going along with him because of the Law of Assumption--the true principle the so-called Law of Attraction (boo!) uses to make itself look real. Until I listened to McClellan and reread John 16, realizing then that John 16-23-24 is not about petitioning for anything but Jesus Himself (which is His Holy SPIRIT).

Well, "whatever you pray and ask for, believe you receive," says Mark 11:24. How do you do that? YOU DO WHAT JOHN 16:23-24 SAYS IN THE ARAMAIC PER KLOTZ!! If it works for getting Jesus and the Holy Spirit, go with it!

An Anonymous Comment and My Response on the Hebrew Word for 'Name' Equaling Nature and Imagination in My Post "The Prayer Technique Edited Out of John 16:23-24"

Impressed by Gregg Braden's video, I wrote the post "The Prayer Technique Edited Out of John 16:23-24". One thing that has really stood out is people's response to Jesus' words: "straightly and directly from inside my name." How does one get inside His name? I point out in my emphasis of Klotz's translation or exegesis of the Aramaic that 'name' = nature = imagination. I did not mean that nature and imagination were definitions of the word 'name' (shem in Hebrew, Strong's 8034), but that biblical names are often the nature of the person, place, or thing being spoken about. It is all representative. YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE WITHOUT TRANSLATING THE NAMES. As Jesus' name means Yah Saving (Yah's action of Salvation), and Yah is doing this action by imagining (that is His Kingdom!), it follows that that is His nature. To be "inside His name" is to be inside His nature--imagination! I did not convey this very well, and an anonymous commenter (below) pointed out my fault.

Here is what I posted:

"All things that you ask straightly and directly from inside my name you shall be given. So far you have not done this. Ask without hidden motive and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire, that your gladness be full" (John 16:23-24 Klotz).

"If I may add emphasis:

"All things that you ask straightly and directly from inside my 'name' you shall be given (name = nature = imagination). So far you have not done this (asking with our voice is not doing this: we need to "ask" by imagining the condition we want). Ask without hidden motive (i.e., do not be judgmental, but forgive the present with grace) and be surrounded by your answer (in fervent, vivid, '3D' imagining). Be enveloped by what you desire (the end-state having already been established), that your gladness be full" (parentheses mine)."
__________________________

Anonymous commenter said, "'Name' does not equal nature or imagination. You need to look up the etymological meaning of name and the Hebrew meaning of name. In the Hebrew tongue, name is actually pronounced shame (not the same shame as in the English language) but shame in Hebrew means Authority. The Messiah is saying, if you ask anything in my 'authority' then it shall be given. This is so much more powerful when we understand the authority we have been given through our Father's sacrifice of His Son."
___________________________

I responded...(BTW, thank you) You are of course right. The Hebrew word for 'name' is shem (Strong's 8034), the same as the name of Noah's third son, Shem, and yes it is pronounced 'shame'. It probably comes from siym (Strong's 7760), meaning "to put" through the idea of definite and conspicuous position (says Strong's 8034). But do not sell what I said about 'name' meaning "nature" short. We call chickens chickens because they have the nature of chickens. A horse is a horse, of course of course. David means "beloved," and Noah means "rest"--where would Bible teachers be if biblical characters did not display the natures their names mean? You are correct, "in My name" means "in My authority," but you are not going to be in His authority unless you are a born-again believer IN HIS NATURE. YOU DIED ON THE CROSS WITH HIM AND ARE RAISED AND ASCENDED WITH HIM, else He is not your sacrifice. Jesus was put in definite and conspicuous position--authority--as our Savior. It is my belief that His nature--the nature of His etheric being--is the imagination of the Consciousness of the Ineffable Being Itself, and that His nature is to mold us up from what we were born at the beginning to being the full Manifestation of the Consciousness. We are Its becoming. And if you find a way to exercise the authority we have been given through our Father's sacrifice of His Son WITHOUT using your imagination, let me know.

What Is Right?

I am not a specialist on the Book of Job, which is probably the oldest book in the Bible. But I am pretty sure that it is about what is right. That question and its answer should be at the forefront of all we think and do. I am here imagining, and I know from experience that there is another imaginer with me with greater concepts and powers than I know of. He or It can speak to my mind, adjust my body, control my environment, even flood my being with the Holy Ghost--all evidence of what we call God. I have got it that I am from Him, what I consider the Consciousness of the Ineffable Being. Yes, there is a step down there from the Ineffable Being to Its Consciousness, which I consider myself (and you) to be a part of. There is also a bit of a step down from the Consciousness of the Ineffable Being to that aspect who is the Imaginer here with us. We are quite a gang.

Inasmuch as I am created from and by God, it is right that He take care of my needs. It is also right that I am beholding to Him. He OWNS me, and it is by His grace that I exist and have consciousness--life--at all. And that is it: we are His slaves, wholly subject to Him, because we come from Him. It is right that we honor Him, worship, adore, and obey Him. That is just right from our relationship with him. This is why I balk at using the Law of Assumption for getting things. Taking care of me is His job. Submitting to my Maker is mine. Yes, doing His will is my responsibility as His slave, and that entails using the Law of Assumption THAT HIS WILL BE DONE. There is nothing wrong with having things, even nice things, but there is a lot wrong with greed.

When We Make What Two One? On Becoming a Suckling Child: A Note on John 16:23-24 and Thomas 22, 106

On January 10, 2023, my post The Prayer Technique Edited Out of John 16: 23-24 suddenly became very popular. Thank you to whomever. I might be spoiling that here.

I have since become aware that the Aramaic version of John 16:23-24 per Klotz discussed by Braden might not have been edited so much as its potential meaning in Aramaic was truncated by translation into Greek (the Jewish event naturally occurred in Aramaic). I.e., the Greek was not capable of carrying all the meaning possibly implied by the Aramaic. See Did the 4th Century Church Edit John 16:23–24?

It is implied by McClellan that Klotz simply draws out more of what John 16: 23-24 in the Aramaic could mean: "All things that you ask straightly and directly from inside my name you shall be given. So far you have not done this. Ask without hidden motive and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire, that your gladness be full."

I am interested in what was meant by "Ask without hidden motive and be surrounded by your answer. Be enveloped by what you desire." This appears to invoke the Law of Assumption; i.e., imagining what you desire was your experience. My question is whether or not this "technique" directly corresponds to making-the-two-one in the Gospel of Thomas 22 and 106 (see Revision of “Jesus Christ And When You Make The Two One (Gospel of Thomas 22 and 106)”):

(22) "Jesus saw children who were being suckled. He said to his disciples: these children who are being suckled are like those who enter the Kingdom. They said to Him: Shall we then, being children, enter the Kingdom? Jesus said to them: When you make the two one, and when you make the inner as the outer and the outer as the inner and the above as the below, and when you make the male and the female into a single one so that the male will not be male and the female (not) be female, when you make eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in the place of a hand, and a foot in the place of a foot, (and) an image in the place of an image, then shall you enter [the Kingdom]."
(106) "When you make the two one, you shall become sons of Man, and when you say: 'Mountain, be moved', it will be moved."

Becoming a "son of man" is another interesting aspect. The sequence seems to be: God becomes Man, the Son of God; then Man becomes God, the Son of Man. This makes one think of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the earnest of the promised reward of godhood. We remember that the Holy Spirit stayed upon Jesus (John 1:29-34). Thomas 22 may be about our BECOMING into and continuing in that blessed state. Note that it says, "When YOU make the two one." The Holy Ghost is given; the receiving of Her is in our court. She is received in our SUBMISSION OF OUR WHOLE BEING unto Him. See A Gnostic Take on the Gospel of Thomas.

Our making-the-two-one might refer to the baptismal rite of initiation, to the actuality of reception of the Holy Ghost in it; i.e., to the reality of our oneness with Christ in the invisible world. From the link above:

"Eros and Androgynes

"It is often said that unitive or mystical experiences cannot be described in words, for the phenomenon lies outside the rational system of language. We cannot define the mystical; we can only point toward it. A huge literature does what it can to put the phenomenon into meaningful words. Unitive moments are said to share some or all of certain characteristics: a feeling of being at one with everything; an intense awareness, without awareness of any particular thing; a sense of knowing what is really real, what truly is; a paradoxical state of being full but empty, of grasping everything and yet nothing, with an awareness of the connectedness of all things; a loss of concern for self; intense euphoria or ecstasy.

"'Androgyne,' the term for this symbol of union, should not be confused with 'hermaphrodite'."

I think this is the case. John in chapter 16 is not talking about the getting of any "thing" that is desired. Jesus was not interested in magic or sorcery, but in His leaving his disciples and their needful reconciliation with Him. There is the etheric presence of the Blessed One we may submit to AND BECOME ONE WITH if we have the heart to become suckling babes.

On This Not Being A Game: The Kingdom Of God IS Within Ethereally—You Really Are Him; He Really Is You!

Michaël said in a recent exchange, "There is no external god that will help me, I am 100% sure of that." I agree with Michaël. Life is not a game, but we are each as a child playing the "game" as we see it (read The Game of Life and How to Play It.) Shall we play get, or give?

It used to be believed that the outer space the universe was passing through was an ethereal medium. I believe that God, the Consciousness of an ineffable Being, is as an ethereal medium we are in and are part of. "God" is all of the medium, and He, or It, has many individually distinct levels or components. We are just one of them. Although all the levels or components are etheric, we deal with each as a person, just as we deal with each other as persons even though we are in reality etheric.

God is the "person" within each of us (the "outside" part of God is within, too). His "coming" to us as from a distance is our becoming more aware of Him due to His being less filtered and more directly involved with our level of consciousness. When the upper levels or components of God are involved with our level, there are miracles which evidence His reality, His involvement, and our inclusion in the oneness of all the levels and components which make up God.

"When it works," said Neville Goddard, "you have found Him." You have found God--all the ethereal levels and components of the Ineffable's Consciousness--to be your own wonderful human imagination. There is no real separation or "other" within the Divine Medium. All the levels and components are in and of the same conscious medium. Jesus is a high-level component of the medium involved in lifting ours to the higher levels. He is ethereal within us, but we treat Him as a man, the Divine Man we will become.

Oddly, the church is like, "Ha, ha, ha. You believe all that oneness bunk Jesus said?" Well, yeah, we do. If the Kingdom of God--which is Him--is within, where shall we find Him? Shall we speak outwardly to Him, or inwardly? Speak as the Divine Ethereal Medium of Consciousness that you are, for this is NOT a game.

Michaël Is Not Impressed

Yeah well, this sound like bs for me and à lot contradictory. You talk of Neville Goddard but he explained clearly that there is no external god, no external being having power over the world like you say. This is in complete opposition of his teaching. And every time I had do what you said, I had the opposite. There is no external god that will help me, I am 100% sure of that.

Michaël,

Exactly. There is no external SEPARATE god from you or I. But there is a whole lot more of what we are than we are aware of. It does not depend on us; we depend on it even though we are unaware of it. It is just too laborious to go over the whole oneness thing every time we speak about the greater part of us we are discovering. So we speak about “Him” knowing full well among ourselves that “He” is not separate and external, but is what we are becoming more aware of of ourselves. Which is why I am writing my next post about this not being a game. Our oneness with What-we-do-not-know is a real thing, THE reality. Stop the self-gratification of trying to get things and take your oneness with the unknown seriously. Read that Matthew 11:28-30 thing again. It presupposes our oneness.

Michaël Asks, "How One Lets God Do It?"

Thanks for you kind word, Dan. But what does it mean to let God do it ? I have never understood that, as how to do it, in a concrete way. It sounds totally abstract to me these kind of big theoretical terms.

Michaël
______________________

Michaël,

I am taking some time to answer your question right. I always regret sending a message and then thinking of other things I should have said and better ways to have said it. To tell you the truth, as the matter is always in my mind, God keeps increasing my knowledge of it. He speaks to me the most in the shower, which is a bit unfortunate as I can't write any of it down. I do not hear a voice; the "picture" of an answer just comes to mind. I "see" it, and I talk to myself discussing the revelation or insight.

I do not know how much you have read of Neville Goddard. I do not know which camp you are in. Some people call him a New Thought teacher. He did indeed read New Thought material, but I believe he came to despise it. He said in one lecture that he visited the well-known New Thought teachers--both the ones alive and the ones "passed"--and rebuked them. Or at least corrected them. He said we are not here to think any "new thought," but are here exclusively to fulfill the Scriptures--the Old Testament. Neville was a Christian who studied mystical kabbalah. He taught the Bible as a believer. The "Neville Technique" was just an aspect of his relationship with God. It should be an aspect of ours.

You no doubt are familiar with the so-called Law of Attraction, which I believe to be unmitigated bs. Its adherents expect their mental vibration to magically act like some sort of gravity to draw to them the physical correspondence of their vibration. The "universe" will do this for them, like the universe has some sort of discernment and makes discriminating actions. I didn't know anyone could believe such garbage without massive doses of drugs.

The first and most important thing, Michaël, is to believe that there is over the world the Consciousness of an ineffable Being we call God, and that He is a rewarder those who diligently believe in and seek Him. His powers have to do with attitudes. He believes things into existence--the Law of Assumption--and He wants us to be Him, so He is FOR us.

The Hebrew name or nature of God is YHWH, which means "He is." Belief that He is is a good attitude to have. This recognizing and honoring God has to be a genuine, inward belief in us, not an outward façade of phony actions, for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he in reality (Proverbs 23:7).

Let me take a break here, Michaël. I do not want to just keep preaching at you like I was going to convert you or something. You asked a really good question asked by many thousands of people: "How do we let God do it?" I am trying to say that it starts with our confidence that God can and will do the best thing for us, the thing we really need as He converts us into Him. This is HIS party, and like it or not this is HIS game. If we are playing some other game of our own design, we lose. I said before, the Hebrew word Israel means Eil's Prevailing. He wants us to be that--His PREVAILING in this world, to be His sign.

To make this practical:

a) Really believe in God.

b) Ask for what you really want--being sensitive to what He wants for you.

c) Believe that God--the Source of your imagination--has heard you and has granted your desire.

d) Stay loyal to your desire's appearing. Expect it.

Neville has given so many examples of actions people have taken to get ready for their desire's fulfillment. A guy wanted a special phonograph player. He ordered it, wired his house for it, built a stand for it, even paid ahead for it, and though late on the list, he got one of the first ones in. A woman wanted a part of another woman's property. It wasn't for sale. "Go ASK!" she told the agents. Okay, she'll sell. Neville loved hearing of God's actions, or rather of God's reactions to His people's faithful actions.

Belief, expectation, and loyalty. Apply, do your part, get ready, and rejoice. Because God HAS heard and sees, He WILL answer. Because He is for you, you rejoice, praise, and thank Him. This is to be our basic attitude in life. It is basic to the "Neville Technique." Relying on God, do as you ought, like Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:15-30 went out praising and worshiping.
