Logos, as the Word, is Incomplete

The Greek word logos was an unfortunate translation choice. In John's native language, Aramaic, the term was milta (miltha). Both words can mean expression and the like, but logos does not have a solid end to the expression, a completion to it. Milta, on the other hand, means much the same as logos, but has a deed, action, or working that makes it real, substantive. It was not a logos, an idea that was and is God, but a Milta, a PERSON Who is His Manifestation. Yes, God is mighty, but to whom has the ARM of the LORD been revealed? What is being talked about is thought and effect. The Milta is the EFFECT of God's manifestation.

This lack of substantive reality is why I am also dissatisfied with the English translation of the last Greek word in John 1:18, ἐξηγήσατο (exēgēsato), "declared." Even Vic Alexander translates the Aramaic word, whatever it is, as "spoke of. Him" I do not know where I read it, but I distinctly remember reading that in the Greek, when ἐξηγήσατο does not have an object, which is the case in the Greek, IT MUST BE TRANSLATED "REVEALED." The Milta did not just speak of or declare the Father to make Him known, He REVEALED Him. I.e., He WAS the Father; not the Father's agent, but the Father's MANIFESTATION. THAT stands before you, and you kneel.

In my humble opinion, John missed it with logos, but nailed it with ἐξηγήσατο.

ἐξηγήσατο (exēgēsato), "declared," had no object, it must--absolutely had to be--translated 'revealed.' I.e., "(Jesus) has revealed"

Yikes!!! It is January 29, 2024, and I just found that this post was in an unpublished state. I must have done some editing or something some time ago, and forgot to republish it. So there may be some need of editing and lapses of logic/ continuity of thought in here, but the main idea is one of the most important I can remember trying to communicate. I hope you get it.
_______________________________________

I think it was in 1978, while I studied Greek at Melodyland School of Theology, that I read that because the last word in John 1:18, ἐξηγήσατο (exēgēsato), "declared," had no object, it must--absolutely had to be--translated 'revealed.' I.e., "(Jesus) has revealed." THAT revelation burned into my skull. According to that Greek rule, Victor Alexander's translation from the ancient ARAMAIC would be: "No human [being] ever saw Allaha, except for the only born Allaha, He who existed in the bosom of his Father, [Who] revealed." Revealed. Unfortunately, Alexander's translation does not say that, but for over forty years that proposed Greek rule has been in the back (and often the front) of my mind--that Jesus Christ revealed God, rather than declared/ explained/ proclaimed/ spoke of/ made known/ told about/ or interpreted Him. Jesus revealed Him.

God wants to be revealed by you.

15. And the seventh angel blew. And there were voices and thunders that declared*, "May it come, the kingdom of the people of our Lord and his Anointed One, and may he rule to [the end of] of the universes of all the universes!"

I will tell you the truth: I have felt for some days that God has shown me something special for you. It is about revelation. Revelation that YOU are to present. Revelation that YOU are to cause by faith and prayer. I have written about it before, but now it has become more clear, and I think more useful.

It is my impression that this particular revelation has been stolen from the church. It was lost with the word which said it in the Bible: Awon-galee-yoon--"He reveals." The idea of revelation is more prevalent in the Bible than you know. God wants to be revealed by us.

We are to reveal God by acts of power. That is what prayer and manifestation can do. Are to do. The revelation achieved is Gospel, the "good news." Revealing God is primary, rather than announcing, preaching, or teaching the truth about Him. For real knowledge of God comes by revelation. When the Bible says Gospel, the very word actually MEANS revelation.

The Greek word εὐαγγέλιον (euangelion; yü-än-ge'-le-on; Strong's 2098), "gospel" or "glad tidings," is from the Aramaic word awon-galee-yoon, meaning "He reveals," says Victor Alexander (2010, Aramaic New Testament, ISBN 9781456475789, Mark 1:1 footnote)--the Hope of the Kingdom.

The only way to do it is to do it.

BY SIGNS AND WONDERS -- MANIFESTATIONS OF CHANGE -- ALTERATIONS AND REVISINGS OF THE PRESENT

Interestingly, seemingly to avoid having to properly translate the Greek John 1:18's ἐκεῖνος ἐξηγήσατο (ekeinos exēgēsato) as "He has revealed," translators ADD to the text an uncalled-for, not-in-the-Greek-text object: Him (God). This allows them to translate it as "He hath declared Him.” They know they are not supposed to add to the text, but if they didn't, well we can't DO that. They have to distance us as talkers about God, lest we become accountable to reveal Him. God is telling me, "Yeah, but...that isn't what I said." ("And yes, you are accountable.")

You can skip over this definition:

From Biblehub: STRONGS NT 1834: ἐξηγέομαι

ἐξηγέομαι, ἐξηγοῦμαι; imperfect ἐξηγουμην; 1 aorist ἐξηγησαμην;
1. properly, to lead out, be leader, go before (Homer, et al.).

2. metaphorically, (cf. German ausführen) to draw out in narrative, unfold in teaching;

a. to recount, rehearse: (with the accusative of the thing and the dative of person, Acts 10:8); with the accusative of thing, Luke 24:35; Acts 21:19; without an accusative, followed by relative pronoun or adverb, ὅσα ἐποίησεν, Acts 15:12; καθώς, 14 (so in Greek writings from Herodotus down; the Sept. for סִפֵר, Judges 7:13, etc.).

b. to unfold, declare: John 1:18 (namely, the things relating to God; also used in Greek writings of the interpretation of things sacred and divine, oracles, dreams, etc.; cf. Meyer at the passage; Alberti, Observationes etc., p. 207f).

It would appear that the "talk about Him" translations of ἐξηγήσατο (exēgēsato) are all right. As I recall, my source agreed that indeed they were, IF ἐξηγήσατο (exēgēsato) had an object. Look at the Greek ἐξ, Strong's 1537. I think my source's problem was that without an object, the prepositional point of origin, "the point whence motion or action proceeds" (Strong's) becomes the talker; in this case ἐκεῖνος (ekeinos): "He (Jesus)." I.e., Jesus became the point "discussed." For he was the very revelation of God.

Yes, I see hands waving in the back. Do you have a question? What has this got to do with euangelion, the Greek word for gospel? Well, in reading Victor Alexander's translation of the New Testament from the ancient Aramaic, I noticed that Mark 1 begins: "The beginning of the Revelation* of Jesus Christ,* Son of God." Revelation? Of course, I know that the Greek word for 'revelation' here is εὐαγγελίου (euangeliou), meaning Gospel or Good News. How the heck did Alexander get 'revelation' out of εὐαγγελίου? (Blue Letter Bible on 'euangelion.')

Alexander's footnote on Mark 1:1 explains that the Aramaic word here is: awon-galee-yoon, and that the ARAMAIC meaning of the word awon-galee-yoon (= euangelion) is "He reveals":

Mark 1:1: "The beginning of the Revelation* of Jesus Christ,* Son of God."
FOOTNOTES:
*1:1.1 Literal Aramaic idiomatic (Lit. Ar. id.) name: "Awon-galee-yoon," or He Reveals.
*1:1.2 Lit. Ar. id. name "Eashoa'," meaning "The Life-Giving, Living Branch," and, "M'shee-khah, "The Anointed One." For simplicity, then, in the proper English syntax "The Anointed Life-Giver."

This would make Mark 1:1 read: "The beginning of the Revelation of the Life-Giving, Living Branch, the Anointed One."
Or, "The beginning of the Revelation of the Anointed Life-Giver."

Elsewhere on the Internet I have read: "Aramaic: 'Awon-Galee-Yon,' which means the same thing (God's Revelation)." And: "This is a correct name: 'The revelation of HIM.'"

Revelation. Not announcement or preaching good news, but SHOWING, DEMONSTRATING, PERFORMING God.

The question arises, which language is borrowing from which? It goes without saying that the Aramaic awon-galee-yoon, he reveals; equals the Greek euangelion, good tidings. I have no doubt but that Jesus Christ could speak Hebrew, Egyptian, Greek, Latin, and Arabic, but his native home language was Aramaic. Except for some Latin with Pilate and some Greek Septuagint, all the Galileans otherwise LIVED 24/7 in Aramaic.

Here is something interesting: both the Greek and Hebrew do not make much out of Galilee. Check the dictionaries yourself. (From Abarim): "for a meaning of the name Galilee, NOBSE Study Bible Name List reads 'Circle, Circuit'; Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names has 'Rolling, Revolving'; and BDB Theological Dictionary proposes 'Circuit, District.' The name Galilee probably started out as a derogative: 'that' region; the boondocks; out in 'the country', and its name means just that: Region." David's friend Hiram called Galilee Cabul, meaning, 'like nothing'. Not very flattering. But worse, I found a dictionary entry which said that the meaning of Galilee was "a pile of dung."

The Galileans had a different opinion of this area of Naphtali, as reflected in Mark 1:9's Aramaic:
"And it happened in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee,* and he was baptized in the Jordan River by John."
*1:9 Lit. Ar. names, "Nussrat d'Ga-lee-la," meaning, "Victorious Revelation."

Jesus came from the Victorious Revelation. Well, that IS good news!!

Hmm. The Greek ἐξηγήσατο means he reveals. Awon-galee-yoon means he reveals. Galilee means Revelation of Allaha. I wonder if God is trying to tell us something? Like maybe, He reveals?

Mark 1:14. After John was betrayed, Jesus came to Galilee (revelation of Allaha), and preached the Hope of the Kingdom of God, 15. And he said, "The Age has ended,* and the Kingdom of God has arrived. Repent and believe in the Hope [of Salvation.]

That is what the revelation OF God BY Jesus preaches to us: the Hope of the Kingdom, the Salvation, is HERE now. The thing that convinces people is miracles: the revelation of God by manifest action BY Him. "And the Apostles went out and preached Christ crucified WITH SIGNS AND WONDERS--works of faith and power--revelations of God.

"...in the events out of which the Christian Church arose there was a CONCLUSIVE ACT of God, who IN THEM VISITED AND REDEEMED His people; and that in the corporate EXPERIENCE of the Church itself there was REVEALED A NEW QUALITY OF LIFE, arising out of what God HAD DONE, which in turn corroborated the value set upon the facts" (C. H. Dodd, The Apostolic Preaching and Its Developments, p. 77, emphases mine).

The upshot of all this is that we are going to have to have the nerve to pray for one another and outsiders of ourselves to give God opportunity to reveal Himself. That manifest revelation will be our message: "It pleased God by the foolishness of the Preaching--the revelation which is the 'message'--to save them that believe" (1 Corinthians 1:21, parenthesis mine).

Acts 1:8 Except the Holy Spirit shall comes on you, you shall receive power and you will witnesses for me.

Acts 8:17 Then consecrated the hand over them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:38 Regarding Eashoa (Jesus) of Nazareth, whom Allaha (God) anointed by the Holy Ghost and Power, and he preached and healed those who were wracked the devil.

1 Corinthians 2:4 and my manifestation and preaching are not through deliverance by words of wisdom, except through the revelation of the Spirit and power.

Romans 15:18-19 For I do not dare say anything that the Messiah did not ordain through my hands for the benefit of the nations through Manifestation and works, through the power of miracles and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of Allaha.

Acts 6:8 Stephen then was filled with grace and power, and he performed signs and wonders among the people.

Would You Forgive the Milta?

The Milta (Aramaic; Miltha) is the Manifestation of the Ineffable Being. The Ineffable Being has ASSUMED what it would be like for It to be fully, completely manifest, and that assumption is to the Ineffable Being fully and completely EXISTENT. THAT is what assumption IS. The Milta is an ASSUMED Being. Its existence is assumed, but it isn't, yet. Like the Ineffable Being, the Milta, which IS the Ineffable Being manifested, exists outside the constraints of time. EXCEPT, that which is assumed . . . has yet to become. E.g., you can imagine living in a house you plan to build to the experiencing of it, but you still have to build the house for that experience to be fulfilled.

There is a twain between a thing's assumption and its fulfillment. Welcome to the universe and time. Their (our) whole purpose is to generate--build--the fulfillment of the Divine Assumption, the Milta.

Okay, we have two things here: the unmanifested Ineffable Being, and Its full and complete Manifestation in form, the Milta, the Divine Assumption which must yet become. See any problems? Two are perfect, all else in the twain is UNLIKE either of them. It exists in sin, the missing of the mark of being like God. All that is in the twain was caused and created by the Ineffable Being, by the Milta, to generate the Ineffable's likeness in the Milta's final state. In creating the twain, God created, and is responsible for, sin.

Did you sin? Have you sinned? I know I have. We all have been born in sin, in the unlikeness of God that the twain is. And whose fault is that? The Ineffable Being's, and Its Milta's crucifixion upon flesh at the beginning for Its becoming. What have you and I got to do with that? Well, we are naturally in and of the twain, and we are part of the Milta DOING Its generation within it. The Milta has, in fact, become us to generate us into the fulfillment of the Divine Assumption It is. In Eashoa (Aramaic: "Life-giver"; i.e., Jesus) the Milta Itself became manifest--just as we ourselves, the imagination of the Milta, have become manifest in these bodies--and took upon Itself all the sin of the twain, the world (including us), It has created and is responsible for. It died for it, gaining the right to forgive it.

There is a division here. In the death of the Divinely Assumed Milta there is a rejection of the unlike-God-ness of the twain, and an acceptance of the like-God-ness of the Milta that is generated in the twain. This creates, if you will, two distinct camps and two divergent destinies. In them we may either go with the unGodlikeness of the twain we are, i.e., stick with it, or we can go with the Milta we are here to become. We can Milta-ize.

There is a Law revealed in the process of assumption, that that which is rejected--the existent state--will leave. The state rejected by the Ineffable Being for Its Manifestation was unmanifestedness. In the final state, there is the Milta, and THE TWAIN DISAPPEARS!! I do not want to pitch my tent in the latter camp.

The Milta's death for our--Its generative twain's--sinfulness, is our door to being joined to the Milta's final state. Choose to be Milta-ized!! The Milta, like the Ineffable Being It is the Manifestation of, is a conscious being. Being within us, It can hear and respond. We may ask the Milta's forgiveness for our unGodlike thoughts and actions. It has the power to become manifest in us. The alternative . . . nah, we don't want that.

The Milta, EXISTING AS GOD OUTSIDE OF TIME, Is Working On Its Past

That is pretty much what I have been trying to communicate. The Milta, assumed to exist by the Ineffable as the Perfect and Complete Manifestation Itself, is also the Ineffable existing outside of time. And just as the Ineffable is working on Its manifestation, so also is the Milta is working on Its manifestation. That is you and I being formed by Him and into Him. That which is assumed to be final . . . becomes. The twain between the present and the final end closes as that which is expected is generated in its PAST.

Proverbs chapter 8 (Alexander) reads like the autobiography of the Milta:

22. "Maryah created* me as the beginning* of his creations, before all his works.*
23. "And before the universe He had* me, and from the inception and before He created space.*
24. "Whence there was the infinite matter* that which was created and before there was water in the springs.
25. "And whence the mountains were formed and the hills were formed; I was [conceived] in the womb.
26. "Whence He created me the earth and the sands and before the beginnings of the dust of the universe.
27. "When He created the heaven, I was with Him, and as He inscribed the orb over the chaos.
28. "As He mustered the clouds from above, and as He empowered the fountains of the deep.
29. "And as He consecrated the Law over the sea, and the water did not enter into the mouth [of the deep] and as He made the foundations of space.
30. "With Him I achieved it; He was happy with me everyday, and in every season I was happy before Him.*
31. "I was happy with His entire universe, and I would be glorified through humanity.
32. "Because the children do listen to me; blessed are they who guard my ways.
33. "They hear my instructions and become wise, and they are not lost.
34. "Blessed are the human beings who listen to me, and are vigilant at my gates everyday, and those who guard the thresholds of my doors.
35. "Because my outpourings are the issuance* of [eternal] Life, and they are the will of Maryah.
36."And those who sin against themselves are ejected and all those who hate me are the lovers of death."

*8:22.1 Lit. Ar. id.: Or: "Begot."
*8:22.2 Lit. Ar. id.: "Head."
*8:22.3 NB! Prophesying about when Eashoa enters the world.
*8:23.1 NB! Being part of.
*8:23.2 Lit. Ar. id.: "Earth," in the sense of "space." Before time and before space existed.
*8:24 Lit. Ar. id.: "Before the chaos."
*8:30 NB! Reference to the Father and the Son.
*8:35 Lit. Ar. id.: "Issuings."

Look at verses 30 and 31 again - "With Him I achieved it; He was happy with me everyday, and in every season I was happy before Him.* I was happy with His entire universe, and I would be glorified through humanity." I.e., what the Ineffable Source did, I, Its Manifestation, did; and I would be glorified through humanity. That's the program. All creation is done, and it is coming 'round. By the way, that is the Hebrew word hayah, Strong's 1961, which pertains to transition in being, and happens pretty much to be the name of God.

Dan Steele's Milta Hypothesis: We Are Just Late To the Party

We do not understand what is going on from what has happened before our arrival. THAT's why life and God are a mystery.

I assume the existence of an Ineffable Being ABOVE God (the Godhead, or Allaha, being the consciousness of the Ineffable Being). We cannot say what the Ineffable Being is, for It is UNMANIFEST, and the unmanifested is incomprehensible.

It appears, though, that there is, IN and OF the unmanifest Ineffable Being, a compulsion TO manifest. The urge to manifest is in Its very nature, so It ever has.

Whatever the Ineffable Being is, It is conscious, and Its intelligence has the power to BECOME whatever It--the Intelligence--assumes that It is. EVERYTHING that is, is That--the Manifestation of the Intelligence of the Ineffable Being.

An aside: I once saw this--everything about me, including myself, was, down to the quantum elements, the living, Divine Intelligence presently manifesting. I was stoked, nearly to the edge of fear; for I was with, in, and of the Ineffable. I made my way to my bed, for I was preparing for sleep at the time, and life--existence itself--was as a fantasy I suddenly understood and was experiencing. I sat down on my bed, and I was aware of the chronic, throbbing pain I lived with between my neck and left shoulder blade. As I reclined, I said to the Intelligence, "You can heal me." It was just a recognition, an acknowledgement, but before my head hit the pillow, the pain was gone. Halleluiah.

Here is where it gets tricky: the Ineffable Being has assumed Its full manifestation. You have got to let that sink in and fill out. The Ineffable Being has imagined what it would be like for It to be fully manifest, and has assumed that It is manifest--that Its full manifestation ACTUALLY EXISTS AS ITSELF. That ASSUMED Manifestation is the Milta, Aramaic for the deed or fulfillment of an idea. This is the tricky part: the Milta is an ASSUMED Being. It isn't, yet. The Ineffable Being's Manifestation is an absolutely completed state in the imagination of the Ineffable, but it is an ASSUMED--IMAGINED(!)--EXISTENCE. The imagined state is immediate--the Divine manifest in all reality from the get-go, but its fulfillment is gestated. THERE IS A TWAIN!

This is the weirdness: the Ineffable has assumed the END of Its manifestation, that It IS manifest, that there IS the Milta, the Manifestation of Itself. THAT has existed from eternity. We, on the other hand, are on the road there, in the generation of the fulfillment of a reality that already exists! The Milta is, and the Milta is our DESTINY. The Milta is the First and the Last from BEFORE the beginning. He WAS and IS the Beginning in Genesis 1:1 ("As the Beginning--capital 'b'--the Son of God creates . . ." --Alexander, emphases mine), and is the only God we will ever know. He is the urgency of the Ineffable to become purely, perfectly manifest as the Ineffable.

That is the world we are in, and the mission we are to fulfill: the eternal BECOMING manifest of the unmanifest Ineffable Being. In this we ARE the Milta: the Ineffable's becoming. The Milta is God Manifest; again, the only God we will ever know. Moses saw God's becoming manifest as a burning bush--a vision of the eternal Milta. The Aramaic of God's self-revelation in Exodus 3:14, according to Victor Alexander, is "Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh", which he explains as meaning:

(1) "Ahiyeh": "the One Who Comes in His Coming," the absolute sense of "the One Who Comes."
(2) "Ashur": "the Beginning Spark that kindles the Fire" or "the Light."
(3) "Hiyeh": "His Coming."
(4) "Ahiyeh" and "hiyeh" are related forms of the same word. They mean more than "the Coming." They signify also the "Eternal Presence," "the Ever-Present," and the "Never Ceasing Intent of the Comer to Come."
(5) In the same way, "Ashur" signifies "the Uncreated Creator who Creates Everything from Nothing."
(6) Also, "Ashur" signifies: "Above-the-Flames."

In other words, the Milta, as God, says, "I am the Alap and Tau*, the One who Is, and the One who Becomes, and the One who Comes, the One and Only* for all" (Revelation 1:8 Alexander).

In the Bible, all things, from beginning to end, are the Milta: it's the only game in town--It IS becoming. Of all existence, there is only the unmanifest Ineffable Being, Its assumed Final Manifestation, the Milta, and the twain--the Milta's Becoming. Like it or lump it, here we are: an imagined Being becoming manifest.

PS: The Milta says, "Behold, I am before the door knocking. If a human [being] hears my sound and opens the door, I shall enter to them and dine with them and they with me. And the victor shall be given to be seated with me on my throne* (chair), just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on His throne. Whoever has ears, should listen to what the Spirit is telling the churches" (Revelation 3:20-22 Alexander).

The point being that there is only ONE throne in heaven, heaven being our imagination. Christ, who is seated on God's throne, is WITHIN us (2 Corinthians 13:5). Our imagination, the Milta's imagination, the Ineffable Being's imagination--are all the imagination of the Ineffable's Consciousness . . . becoming. Bless the Milta, the Manifestation of the Ineffable Being, and please, imagine well.

The Lord's Prayer per Vic Alexander

Vic again responded, with a note on the previous post:

"To comment on my own comment, let me add that the word 'Manifestation' is the best way that Jesus Christ is represented by the New Testament when speaking to His Disciples as He taught them. And, of course, Jesus Christ manifested His Father in Heaven, when He taught His Disciples how to pray (the Lord's Prayer.) https://youtu.be/-11l1XgATtQ -- here it is on YouTube, Lord's Prayer Commentary, as I tried to pray and explain the Lord's Prayer.

Thank you , Vic. What a treasure! My attempt to reconstruct your English translation of Matthew 6:9-11 from the video:

9.  "Our Father in heaven,
       blessed is your name.
10. "Your Kingdom is come.
        Your will is done,
Just as it is in heaven, so also on earth.
11. "Give us our Bread which nourishes, daily.
12. "And leave us serene (set aside our dereliction of duty--
give us guidance as to how to live day to day),
just as we also allowed others serenity.
13. "And do not allow us to enter through trial,
except deliver us from the evil one.
       For Thine is the Kingdom,
       the Power and the Glory
To the end of the universe,
       of all the universes." Amen!

Note: We are to pray to Jesus, for He is the Manifestation of the Father.

A Little Milta Correspondence with Vic Alexander

Dear Vic,

I hate to bother you, but I would like to ask you to explain your perspective of the Milta. I cannot think of anyone who might have a better understanding of the Milta than you. As I see it, the Milta is our God--Allaha--the very One and Only God, in some kind of substance or form. Not a new God, nor an other God, but a facet/Manifestation of the Eternal One and Only God. TheoScholar has some good comments in it (and links to others) https://theoscholar.blogspot.com/2013/10/dylan-downss-commentary-on-gospel-of.html

Hi Dan,

Regarding the Milta. From the Greek it was translated as Logos (in English, 'Word'.) And that's pretty close. In the Ancient Aramaic, it is 'Manifestation." In other words, Jesus is God manifest. (Emphasis mine).

The Disciple John refers to the creation in Genesis' first five verses. He refers to Jesus as the Milta, and that's what's great about the Gospel of John. Also, it was the youngest Disciple of Jesus that wrote the Book of Revelation.

So, yes, the first five verses in the Book of Genesis and the first five verses in the Gospel of John are very important to an understanding of the evolution of Christ Jesus and the God's creation of the human being (emphasis mine) with a brain made of two halves, the left and the right hemisphere.

Only in the human being the thinking brain can compare what he/she sees, hears, and feels and then come to a conclusion as to what is reality.

And of course, there is the subconscious mind, the brain when we're asleep that has to make sense of a world that we perceive and interact with during the wakeful hours.

God bless,
Vic Alexander

The Milta and the "Us" of Genesis 1:26

An interesting thing about assumption is the belief a thing exists, while waiting for it to become. The Milta is, I believe, the beginning assumption by the Ineffable that the non-manifest IS manifest, and the end DEED of manifestation of the Ineffable becoming: "'I am the Alap and Tau*,' says the Lord God, 'the One who Is, and the One who Becomes, and the One who Comes, the One and Only* (Supreme) for all'" (Revelation 1:8 Alexander, edited). The final end of the Manifestation we are BECOMING, but for the Ineffable, It already IS. "We shall make the human being in the image of our likeness, and they shall have authority over the fish of the sea and the birds of the sky and the herds and all the creatures of the earth and all the four-legged animals that walk on the earth" (Genesis 1:36 Alexander). "And whereas He consecrated for human beings to die one season (the end Manifestation crucified into the opacity of this sphere of existence, life experience after life experience), and after their death, one judgment, likewise also the Messiah offered Himself one season, through His [human] Essence He obliterated the sins of many, so as in the second season those who held onto Him would see themselves alive without their sins" (Hebrews 9:27-28 Alexander, edited). I.e., we are the assumed Manifestation, the Milta--verily Allaha--in Its act of becoming manifest.

Edit: on Milta

Dan Steele's Milta Theology

"Behold, I am coming, just as the Scriptures* wrote about me, to do your will, O, God" (Hebrews 10:7 Alexander). Not just the New Testament Jesus, but the Eternal Milta--the one in Genesis 1:1. The whole Bible is about Him.

The Ineffable No-thing, the (...?), is non-manifest. It is as a field, but is conscious. That consciousness IS the non-manifest's Manifestation: the non-manifest AND Its Manifestation.

The non-manifest is manifesting, so Its Manifestation must also, in like manner, be manifesting; and that manifestation must also be manifesting, to the limit of opacity. Hello. Hence the literal translation of the Lord's Prayer in Modern English by Ferrar Finton, "Our Father in the Heavens; Your Name must be being Hallowed; Your Kingdom must be being restored. Your Will must be being done both in Heaven and upon the Earth. Give us today our tomorrow’s bread; And forgive us our faults, as we forgive those offending us, for You would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from its evil" (emphasis mine). Because the Milta, the Consciousness--the Manifestation--of the non-manifest Ineffable Being, MUST BE MANIFESTING. The existence of the Consciousness in the non-thing field is simultaneous manifestation of the non-manifest, and THAT is our "God."

To hear and obey is the whole duty of man.

Moses and the Milta--the Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful Milta

Sorry for not posting for awhile. My mind has been boggled, and my thoughts revolutionized, by the Milta (Aramaic). I hardly know where to begin. The Milta has given me a whole new vision of what is going on in the universe, a new conceptualization of ontic theology and of the mechanics of it. The Milta is a super big, "Oh."

I first heard of the Milta in Victor N. Alexander's Aramaic New Testament: Translation of the Ancient Aramaic Scriptures directly into English (2012, ISBN 9781456475789, Charleston, SC). In his footnote on John 1:1 (page 180), Alexander explains: "Milta means the essential connotation for a person of thing." BEFORE the beginning, the essential connotation for Allaha existed, the essential connotation for Allaha was WITH Allaha, and the essential connotation for Allaha WAS Allaha.

"This was in the beginning with Allaha. Everything was within his power*, [otherwise] nothing would ever exist.* Through him [there] was Life* and Life became the spark* of humanity. And that [ensuing] fire* lights the darkness, and darkness does not overshadow it" (John 1:2-5 Alexander). John's point here, I believe, is that this was Moses' religion, that Moses worshiped the Milta. It was the Milta that became incarnated in and as Jesus Christ.

Milta does not mean quite the same as logos, the Greek word used in translation of the Aramaic. Logos means 'word'. Milta also means 'word', but is substantive, that is, it is the word AND THE DEED THAT GOES WITH IT, the word's RESULT. So, "In the beginning was the DEED." The Milta, the essential connotation for Allaha, is "concrete." That is, it is the Manifestation of Allaha, the end of Allaha's becoming manifest. THIS ESSENTIAL CONNOTATION, ALLAHA'S MANIFESTATION, WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH ALLAHA, AND WAS ALLAH. AND IS JESUS CHRIST.

This has given me some things to think about. Like what Job meant in Job 19:25-27, when he said, "I know that my Redeemer [ever] lives, and at the latter day on earth shall stand; and after [worms] this body hath consumed, yet in my flesh I shall Eloah see: Whom I, even I, shall see upon my side. Mine eyes shall see Him--stranger now no more: [for this] my inmost soul with longing waits" (Bullinger, The Companion Bible). The Jesus part of Allaha has ever been manifest, and is the Milta--the First and the Last--from before the beginning and remaining after the end, for He is Allaha.

I have many small comments and observations to make concerning the Milta. I think I will just headline them instead of making lengthy explanations.

Christian Deconverter Half-inch Challenge: Jesus' Response IN THE PRESENT is Evidence of His Reality -- Past or No Past

I have noticed that many people deconverting from Christianity argue that there is no empirical evidence of a literal, historical Jesus Christ. I have looked at much of the evidence given as proof that there was a historical Jesus, and I have to agree with the deconverters--I find it lacking. I also find it to be utterly and absolutely unnecessary. What Biblical archeology reveals about God and Jesus does not actually prove that a literal, historical Jesus Christ has ever existed. I believe the Devil and the anti-Christian Jews were especially thorough in eradicating every vestige of any sort of evidence of a literal and historical Jesus Christ. Do you think they would leave newspaper clippings and photos of Him laying around? They scrubbed the earth, but it was too late.

I would argue that we do not even know what a "literal and historical" Jesus Christ actually is. What Jesus Christ actually is, I believe, we have to discover through present-day experience of Him, not through records or artifacts of the past, for the only valid evidence of Jesus Christ's being in the past is His action in the present. If the divine Jesus Christ--verily God--does not act among us in the present, then we have no reason to believe that He was ever among us in the past; while if He DOES respond among us in the present, we then have every reason to put our trust and confidence in Him as a real, present, living, and powerful Being. Look up "the proof is in the pudding."

I believe in Jesus Christ because I personally have witnessed literal and historical miraculous acts performed by Him IN THE PRESENT. The first act I noticed was His opening my mind's eye to see a demon who had been influencing me toward the occult and possible demon possession. Well, that vision was subjective and imaginal, so I could discount that as being empirical. The second act was my baptism in the Holy Spirit, which again was an emotional and imaginal event. The third act was when Jesus spoke to me "audibly" within my brain. I put 'audibly' in quotation marks because while I clearly heard His substantive voice in my skull, no one else could. More recently, a throbbing pain in my shoulder vanished when I said to God's intelligence, "You can heal me." These miracles do not yield much that can be presented to deconverts as evidence for a real and present Jesus Christ. After all, they occurred within me, where Jesus is, and they were personal works for ME. Christian converts and would-be deconverts need to experience miraculous personal works by Jesus within and for THEM.

Which brings me to my half-inch challenge:

I have do have one distinctly overt, and for me historical, irrefutable, empirical evidence of Jesus Christ's PRESENT existence--whatever He be. While I was a student at Melodyland School of Theology, Charles Hunter spoke at Melodyland Christian Center's Charismatic Clinic--a gathering of Pentecostal fanatics to celebrate and worship God and His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to become better at it. Charles asked everyone in the audience to stretch out and then bring together their arms, to compare their lengths. I stretched my arms out several times, and each time my left arm came up about a half-inch shorter than my right arm. It could have been five-eighths of an inch, more or less, I don't know--it has been 45 years now, but my left arm was definitely shorter.

"It's not the shirts," I thought to myself. Long-sleeve shirts had always bound more tightly around my right wrist, causing me to constantly tug at them. I thought I had just been buying cheaply made shirts, seconds, because I was poor. It never occurred to me that my arm lengths were the reason the cuffs were tighter on one wrist than the other.

Anyway, Charles had us hold out our arms and hold still, and then he asked Jesus to make our limbs all the correct length. All right, it was only about a half an inch or so, but I WATCHED as my left arm grew out that half-inch at just that moment, as Jesus responded to Charles' prayer. Jesus could not have responded if He wasn't what the Bible says He is. Jesus proved to me that He is real and present Spirit-stuff.

When Jesus first intervened and opened my mind's eye in my imagination, I was a bum living in a pickup truck in Hawaii. I wondered why He, God's Son, was monitoring the mind of a bum on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I was just one of a couple of thousand people in that audience at Melodyland Christian Center, and my arm lengths were only off by what? a half-inch or so? YET JESUS MOVED TO DEMONSTRATE TO ME, AND TO EVERYONE ELSE THERE THAT NIGHT, THAT HE IS LORD, PRESENT AND POWERFUL, JUST AS THE BIBLE SAYS HE IS.

It was just a half-inch of flesh, but Jesus' present-day response at Melodyland is my irrefutable proof that He is alive and real--powerful-- and was in some way historical in those New Testament days, whether or not there be any other evidence of it. I do not need any other evidence.

I am asking you, challenging you, if you lack convincing and compelling evidence of Jesus Christ's presence and power within you, that He is conscious of you and is monitoring your thoughts, give Him half an inch. The half-inch I gave Him was my unequal arm lengths. Others gave up their leg lengths. I ask that whatever you give be something physical, not necessarily your body, but something you can see transition in shade or shape. My arms are still the same length, so it wasn't a temporary hypnosis that fooled me. I felt the throbbing stop when I asked God to heal my shoulder; it was real, but it could be argued that I was self-hypnotized, and so self-healed. Fair enough, but I WATCHED my arm/fingertips grow out to match the other hand--just then, at the asking of Jesus. Ask Jesus, and let Him give you a half-inch or WHATEVER IS RIGHT.

I do not know what else might constitute a half-inch, a mismatch that corrected will demonstrate His presence and power. Might you ask a tumor to leave, a hangnail to disappear, a tattoo to dissolve, an infection to heal, a break to mend, a leprosy to cleanse? Ask expecting, for He cares for you. Wait for it gratefully, ready to praise Him for it.

The Cult of Milta: The Ancient Aramaic Church Moses Found in the Deserts of Midian--the Original Judaism

Have you ever heard of the Milta? If you are a Christian, I very seriously doubt it, which is interesting, as the Milta is what the Christian church worships every Sunday, and is supposed to worship all day, every day--24/7. It would help if the church told you what the Milta is, wouldn't it?

I was asked what cult I am in. I want to explain that I am in the cult of Milta. It is the ancient Aramaic cult Moses discovered in Midian. My sense of cult goes back at least to Job. If you will take a step back and look at the Bible, you will see that when Moses fled Egypt, he knocked about in the land of Midian for a long time. There he heard of, and perhaps even met, a character named Job. Job was zealous to do everything good that he could. Why? The Milta.

What is the Milta? As I understand it, the ineffable No-thing, whose consciousness we call God, had no form, and, addressing this shortcoming, desired form. Now, here is the thing: before that the world was, the Ineffable imagined what it would be like if it were true that It had form. It imagined what it would be like to be form, and It assumed that It WAS manifest in form. The Ineffable assumed that Its end-state as a form fully existed, giving that end-state of Itself all the tones of reality.

Now, for God, who is outside of what we call time, THAT ASSUMED END-STATE EXISTS. The thing is, THAT BEING IS WHAT WE ARE BECOMING. The Milta is God's plan for man. The Milta IS God, the One and Only old, the original God . . . in FORM. It is not a new god, another god, a later-issue god; It is just the only, true, eternal God manifest in form. We are THAT--whatever THAT is--on the way to becoming what God has assumed we are. Becoming the Manifestation of God takes some time: character has to be engendered, generated, cultivated--sometimes whacked into shape. God has got all day.

Anyway, the Milta, the Manifestation of God--which all the Bible is about--incarnated in this world as Jesus Christ. That is what the first chapter of John clearly states in the Aramaic language that Jesus clearly spoke. The Milta lived a holy and sinless life and died for you and me, and the Milta rose from among the dead WITH YOU AND ME, IF WE BELIEVE, FOR HE, LIKE YOU AND I, IS IMAGINATION. It is my belief that imagination, GOD'S imagination, is our form.

Let me ask you, if you imagined yourself to be somewhere else, and so intensely assumed the reality that that person existed, and that person was real to you, and that that person was REALLY you, what would you have (assuming that you actually had the power to DO it, to make it so, which power God DOES have)? Two of you who were the same one--not one, but not two. Welcome to the Milta, as I understand It--verily God, the ancient and original, of Whom I am, and Who I am becoming, unless I be found reprobate and disqualified. O Lord, let me not be disqualified, nor whacked.

PS: Some unused notes:

The ideas of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, are of the Milta religion. We ask people if they know or have heard of Jesus, if they have met Jesus, if that have found Jesus; we should be asking if they have found the Milta, for it was the Milta who became Jesus. Milta (also Miltha, John 1:1) is the Aramaic word the Greek word Logos is a translation of. Victor Alexander says that Milta "is the essential connotation for a person or thing." TheoScholar has an interesting discussion on the word.

Before that the world was, God imagined what it would be like to be fully manifest. It assumed that Its manifestation was real, substantial, a tangible presence. It imagined touching it, hearing it, seeing it; it gave it all the tones of reality, and became what He imagined--God in the flesh--exactly Him. It is a bit hard to imagine or conceptualize an invisible, conscious field of power from an incomprehensible No-thing actually having a manifestation, but that's what the Bible says is the case. It's the original three-in-one.

Self-control: Sin or Salvation

I had an interesting experience when I met God. I began to find out how stupid I am. I found that I had lived His life as though it were my life. To rectify this, I cast self-control of "my" life out of myself. Well, of course this act was also self-control, but there was a big difference: whereas self-control of my life for my purpose was sin, self-control of my life for His purpose was salvation.

Unfortunately, I did not keep it up. The flesh is real stupid and real attractive, and I was real stupid. I believed the scriptures, but it doesn't help a lot if you don't understand them. For a long time I thought that God was outside of me, "other." I have only recently come to understand that He IS me, is within, and is my destiny . . . if I exercise self-control. Now I look at such scriptures as Genesis 1:26, "Let Us make man in our image, after Our likeness," and understand that He is talking to ME, the Moses me, as I am the Manifestation of Him.

Now I can understand Neville Goddard's insistence that YHWH means "I AM." I believe Neville knew full well that YHWH means "He is," but if He is, and I am Him, because He is me, then I AM. I got a taste of that future me in the baptism in the Holy Ghost. I liked it, but I was too stupid to devote myself to reading and understanding the Bible. Thank God He is patient and forgiving. He sent me to Melodyland School of Theology, where again I was too stupid, too unperceptive, too lazy to take advantage of all the learning that was there for me. My brain's immaturity is a tough row to hoe--all I saw was churchiology.

By God's grace I am where I am, learning Christianity as self-control for Him, to become the Manifestation of God my future self IS.

Imagine what it would be like if it were true, if you were what you want to be, the very Manifestation of God. Give it all the tones of reality, and be loyal to it.

The Day With A Mission

All the other days of Creation, they occurred, and there they were. On the sixth day, "Let Us . . .", and there we go with a purpose, an ongoing mission to make man into Him, our End.
