The Monitor

In March of 1975, in an occult meditation class, I learned that I, my being, was being monitored. Someone is watching our brains, our thoughts, our lives and all our perceptions "twenty-four/ seven." He is never away from us, never asleep, but rather guides us and gives us instruction. He doesn't judge us to condemnation, but judges whether good or bad -- like Him or not. Because we ARE Him.

There is only one imagination in all the universe, His, for He is "God," the consciousness of the Ineffable, sent to make us (and everything else) manifest Him, and through Him the One Who sent Him. He is the Milta, the Christ, the Son of the Living God -- the Consciousness Who rides in individual perception in each of our bodies "as" us. All imagination is His.

Manifestation is a Communication to Invoke Change

We pray to manifest, and it works.

Manifesting's (aka Law of Attraction) success is a communication to you from God. It is God grabbing you by the lapels and hauling you right up to His face and screaming at the top of His lungs, spittle flying, "I AM HERE!" How else, WHY else, would it work, Dummy? You spoke, HE heard (being you, of course He heard!), and power from His plane was expended to affect on this plane. It transcended from there to here, and the earth MOVED. Manifesting's working - response to prayer - is like getting walloped upside along the head with a two-by-four--you KNOW that it happened, and if it did happen, then He is there! HERE!! He is REAL, and if we do not make note of it, we really ARE dummies.

While I count over six hundred mistakes in the transcriptions (Mitch denies them, says they are "editings"), I encourage everyone to get the paperback book Neville Goddard's Final Lectures by Mitch Horowitz, and to listen to NEVILLE GODDARD'S OWN VOICE AUDIOS OF THOSE LECTURES available on YouTube.com. The point being that in several of these lectures Goddard understands the Spirit of God in our soul to be "Jesus," and the physical agency of our acts to be "Christ." So "we" are also these two other people: God and His Son, Christ. I guess manifesting's working has to do with these two people becoming one in intent and purpose. And there we are, Israel, caught in the middle.

Rabbi Manis Friedman: This one line in the Bible REVEALS God's purpose for CREATION, which purpose of God is to REVEAL Himself! In creating the world, God reveals HIMSELF. There is only ONE imagination, HIS. THAT's what we are to discover--that we are IT.

Neville Goddard Gangplanking

Causation isn't just visualizing; it's assuming the effect of an experience as one's reality.

In his lecture God's Law and His Promise, Neville discusses how he learned the technique of assumption. His Bible teacher, Abdullah, knowing that Neville wanted to travel to Barbados, had Neville assume that he was IN tropical Barbados, although in reality he was in pre-Christmas New York. Neville then received passage and was IN Barbados.

In How Really to Pray (aka "Repentance, a Gift from God"), Neville explains how, on a subsequent trip to Barbados, he got return passage from Barbados to his home in New York. Neville's brother had been greatly dismayed that Neville had not arranged return passage while in New York. "He simply was not familiar with this technique," he said. If Neville HAD the tickets for his family's return to New York, he knew that he would have to walk up the gangplank of the ship that would take him there. Walking up the gangplank of the ship as its passengers was the effect the experience of having the tickets would yield.

In the first case, Neville assumed that he was IN Barbados, having gone there first class. In the second case, Neville assumed he boarded the ship with his wife and child and bid farewell to Barbados, having gotten the tickets for passage. In the latter case, Neville in his imagination assumed the reality that having the tickets for his family's return trip, he was climbing the gangplank of the ship carrying his daughter. His mind wandered. He brought it back. He did it again. His mind wandered. He did it again. Not visualizing, but experiencing the effect of having the tickets as his REALITY. Not thinking about it, but BEING IT. There was the smell of the ocean, the crust of salt on the rail, the hurt of leaving his family on Barbados, and the joy of embarking on the trip home. Achieving that effect as his reality in his imagination, the steamship company called, "Come pick up your tickets."

The imagination is our tongue, just as it is God's. The imagination and the tongue both are unruly, but they can be tamed. "Think on these things" (Philippians 4:8) does not mean to imagine or envision wistfully, but to CREATE, assuming effects according to God's will. Let God rejoice over the works of our mental "hands" (Zephaniah 3:12-17).

Attitudes are Imagination in a War for Life

It is a war. We are captured by a self-serving criminal organization, and most of us do not know it. Like the common Chinese populace under the CCP, or Muslims, Catholics, and most other selfish, lying religious organizations, we are under "diversions from reality." We live in this world's lying propaganda. It is the invisible world which is real. This world is an image of the invisible,--its manifestation, a display. It is real, but its diversions and distractions keep us from getting real on the invisible side.

Points in time. We are born into ignorance: we are God's ignorance manifested. We think the criminal organization is the world, "reality." Actually, the invisible is. We get glimpses of the dichotomy: the evil tips its hand, allowing us to see through its lies, that it is evil; or the invisible miraculously intervenes, allowing is to see it is real and involved with us for good. God's evidence is in the present, in His actions in points in time. We are monitored all the time, for we are God's imagination, and God is conducting experiments. He is saying, imagining toward us: "How far will this man and that woman allow me to carry this hour? . . . It can be as wonderful as any hour that any human being has ever lived. For I . . . am reaching out toward divine sons, and I have not become satisfied yet. . . . I am in travail to set you akindle with the Christ-thing which has no name. How fully can you surrender and not be afraid?" (Dr. Frank C. Laubach, Letters by a Modern Mystic, March 9, 1930).

The Christ-thing which has no name. The invisible is in us, actually IS us, and we find God alive in our attitudes. We step out in faith, hope, and love. Abraham left his home, Isaac sewed seed during a drought, Jacob served fourteen years for Rachel. The 'Israel' he became is "The Prevailing of Eil, of God." God overcomes the world in and through our attitudes. Here is our proof, our evidence of God and of His will for us, Jesus! Though the world kill us, we KNOW beyond any doubt that God is real, alive, powerful, and NOT SEPARATE--that we have eternal life--because He ACTS. Now. I. e., He acts if we . . .

User error. The Torah teaches us how to be Jews. The rest of the Bible is about it. Jesus was a Jew, a Jew sans error. Being a Jew works if done correctly. The Jews were in user error. They judged the Way Jesus demonstrated according to their convoluted and confused ignorant understanding of the Torah. It did not work. There is forgiveness and healing in getting it right--a contrite and lowly heart in submission, obedience, holiness, and faith, hope, and love. The very gates of Hell cannot prevail against having, imagining, the right attitudes. The Jesus "thought" of God became a man, a messiah, to set men free from sin and death and the pains of hell (Daniel 9:24), which he DID. We have evidence of this reality through God's acts in points in time.  I hear that we are to spread the word about it.

Alive-to-God Attitudes: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- Faith, Hope, and Love

I think a lot in litanies of scripture, because God says the same things so many times in different ways. His language is illustration. The Kingdom--i.e., the power of God, or  if you would, God Himself--has to do with attitudes. That's what's within us. Three primary attitudes are faith, hope, and love. I note that these attitudes correspond to the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, which illustrate them in scripture. These "people," attitudes, are alive, "living" to God (Matthew 22:32).

Rest Work

Sometimes the seriousness of God, of reality, suddenly strikes me. I was just about to sip some xing ren cha (Chinese almond tea) when I realized that the real Jesus Christ did really go through and fully experience physically the trials, beatings, scourging and crucifixion necessary for Daniel 9:24's completion. The Milta really did become a man and go through that for ME. Yes, I know the story as told in scripture is symbolic, but I believe - am convinced - there was a reality component. The WHOLE of the Season of Grace was real (why go through close to 490 years of reality and then NOT have the Milta sacrifice?).

I had been thinking about what Jesus said to me PHYSICALLY, because I find it so hard to study Chinese and try to memorize its thousands of characters. I SHOULD be a master of Chinese by now. But Jesus, I remembered, said, "Come unto Me all you who labor and carry heavy burdens (like trying to learn Chinese), learn of Me, and I give you rest." He sent out His disciples without purses or supplies--He would supply. What do you do in rest? Imagine. "Believe you have what you ask, and you have." What do we ask? "Give us this day our tomorrow's bread." By the way, how does God speak? He imagines. His imagination has the power to become what He believes He is, what He believes His reality experiences. God assumes He IS THAT EXPERIENCE, and the experience He becomes. His muscles to become? His imagination. His rest work is what we call prayer; i.e., BELIEVE THAT IT IS.

The Trinity is Only God -- Dan's Theology

The Triune One, the Spiritual Unity, is only God, not THE only God (not that there is another). In a sense, He--God--is impoverished (else we would not be the manifestation of His ignorance: He became OUR ignorance*).  There is MORE, some Ineffable "Thing," the (...?), from which everything, including God, has come.  The consciousness of this Ineffable Thing, the (...?), is "God the Father"; His thought is the Holy Ghost (note that His thought is effective and effectual, i.e., ghost-like); and "Jesus" (which did become a man) is God's nature, His prejudice to manifest the Ineffable Thing accurately.  All of this is on our side of the Ineffable Being.  On the other side of the divide is the Ineffable Being Itself, of which we can only estimate from what we find on this side of what It has become.

* This is why our sin is on Him.  He acknowledged that it was His fault.  Following suit after Adam ("the Divine's Blood"; i.e., God's conscious awareness or imagination), the first man, we are all born spiritually dead.  Read Romans 5:12 more accurately: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, BECAUSE OF WHICH all have sinned" (KJV modified by Dr. Ray Shelton, who noted that we all sin because we are born spiritually dead, not we all spiritually die because we sin). 

An Appropriate Neville Goddard-ish Response to Jesus Christ's Command to "Come Unto Me" (Matthew 11:28)

He said, and we should do, "Come unto Me . . . and as Me . . . think on these things."

As we get past user error and the two become one, the things come about.

China Needs God

I have lived in the Republic of China, am married to a Chinese, originally planned to be a missionary to the Chinese, and now watch a lot of what is happening in China.  The Chinese pray to the CCP's State for mercy, but the State does not care, for there is nothing there.  There is only Pharaoh Xi Jinping, who cares only for the State.

Neville Goddard's Restoration as a Twenty-something Year Old And Built-in Antiquity

Neville Goddard had the strangest theory of after-life I have ever heard. He posited that when a person "dies," he or she wakes in another physical-sphere existence as a twenty-or-so year old with basically the same interests and things needed to learn as they had had in their previous existence. He called it restoration, as opposed to reincarnation, which entails punishment for bad karma. I honestly could not accept the idea, because, well, I remember being a kid, and I have children. We were all BORN, were we not?

Maybe not. For I recall the theory of built-in antiquity I heard (and did not accept) at Melodyland School of Theology (MST) back in the 1970s. Built-in antiquity was not a doctrine endorsed by MST, but it did come up in a discussion about creation and the age of the earth (or for that matter, the age of the universe). The theory of built-in antiquity deals with the question of whether or not the Almighty Intelligence--God--could know all the effects of ages of evolution--13.8+ billions of years for the universe and 4 to 5 billions of years for this solar system--and create THIS WORLD we live in in our imagination with all those never-actually-happened effects within it. I.e., could God have STARTED Creation at this end?

Could it be that our memories of childhood, or of yesterday, are false, or at least supplied? We can visit the house we were raised in, but were we ever really there? The park we played in, our old school, our classmates--did we just wake up with them as false memories, our personal built-in antiquity? If the world is our selves pushed out, our imagination's projection, if all this is a dream--"lost memory you just recalled," is anybody actually there?

We say that we understand what God is doing, that we know His plan. But are we actually pretending, pretending to understand?

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is Given from the Inside Out

Unlike baptism with water, because the Kingdom--God--is within, the baptism with the Holy Ghost is given from the inside out. The Living Waters well up from deep within the bowels and flood up to the mouth, from which it pours out as words of praise, loving adoration, gratitude, and worship.

Edit: I was thinking of this, that it is the Holy Ghost who is speaking in "tongues," who is using our mouths as the pouring forth in this enlivening of our spirits. So, is it we who are praising God, or God who is praising God? My resolved solution is that there is no separation. God is worthy to be praised, adored, thanked, exalted, etc., etc., by Him, by us, by EVERYTHING. He is us; we are Him--let EVERYTHING praise Him who is the One.

Xi JinPing and I Share a Common Thread . . . Do We Share It With You?

If you take a look at what is happening in China right now, you might think that Xi JinPing was having an all-wrong day (or week, or year). This is August of 2023, and in China there has been both drought and devastating floods, tofu-dreg building and bridge collapses, unbridled corruption and thievery, economic chaos and bankruptcy, earthquakes, disease and pestilence, political intrigue, massive unemployment, protests all over the place, and foreigners are getting the hell out of Dodge. A picnic in the park it ain't--China is falling apart.

What might be wrong? Xi is a dedicated Marxist. Like Marx, he really believes there is no God, and that the only thing that matters is the State. Xi believes that he has built and is responsible for all of China's success and glory. And God says, "Yeah? You ever hear of a dude named Nebuchadnezzar?"

I mentioned in my last post that I felt desperation just before my baptism in the Holy Spirit, because God rejected me. Albeit He is within me, I felt that He wouldn't touch me with a ten-foot pole (for those outside the U.S., that is an about-three-meter-long stick). I did not know why God rejected me--I had given myself to him, and the imaginary trip becoming the mudman (described in that post) was God's illustrative explanation of my rejection. To wit: I had, despite my "giving" of myself to God, maintained an independent self-lordship over my life. I was, actually, still in rebellion against Him! I still directed my life--what I thought, said, and did--according to my own desires, impulses, and dictates. I was in complete control of me. I had never even thanked God for the life He had given me, nor asked for what purpose He had made me.

When I realized this, I wailed. Oh, how I hated "I." I had to get self-control, self-lordship OUT of myself, and resorted to casting it out*, leading to my complete surrender to God and baptism in the Holy Ghost. Nebuchadnezzar came to full repentance when he realized that God does whatever He desires among men. Xi, not so much, yet. Xi desperately needs Jesus to take over.

PS: Marx was wrong.

*PPS: I did not cast control over myself out as a demon, but as a quality of my own nature I somehow fully identified and managed to relinquish or sublimate. At the time I "un-ed" my self-control, I literally thought I might fall to the floor as a blob, because I exerted absolutely NO control over myself. I was totally surprised when I entered this no-control-over-myself state, for I did not fall, but sensed instead that I was caught (!)--literally physically supported by God. THAT gave me the confidence to go in complete surrender to Him. It is God's evidence in the NOW that matters, that confirms the truth of the past. The past's proof isn't then; it's NOW.

I am reminded of John 10:10, "The thief comes but to steal, kill, and destroy (send into oblivion)." Without recognizing that Christ is within them, China is reaping the whirlwind. By the way, I identify Satan, the thief and our adversary, as our ignorance of God. That is why Jesus said to LEARN OF HIM. The only hope for China and the CCP is to repent and to reform under the leadership of Jesus Christ.

HOW the Milta, the Word of God Became Man was How WE Became Who We Are

This is less than obvious. It was SHOWN to me just before my baptism in the Holy Spirit. I was wondering why I was rejected by God. Rather desperate at the moment. I saw in my imagination the shape of a man scooped from the fine, silty mud of the earth. The man-shaped mud was sat in front of me. Actually, there was no "me"; "I" was only the mind's eye of my imagination. Anyway, as I stared at the mudman, the mud was turned into bone and joints, muscle and sinew, organs and vessels and finally hair-covered skin. It was a completely normal, physical man. But it was not alive.

Then it was given life. It breathed; it blinked; and it looked. I wondered what it must think, seeing things for the first time--only moments ago it was lifeless mud. It stood up and turned around, gazing at the plain of mud it had just been taken from. As I watched it, I heard its thoughts: "This is the earth. It is daytime. The sun is up. It will set, and it will get cold. I had better find shelter in those hills." I could see in my imagination forested hills in the distance and to the right.

The mud-man took off walking toward the hills. My mind's-eye perspective followed close behind and to the left. I was watching him, and still wondering what he saw and thought. I imagined seeing through his eyes, and then I heard his thoughts.

My point is that at this point I effectively BECAME the mudman. One moment prior I was an observing, imagining spirit, and in the next moment I was the imagination of a man--a real human man: ME!! The life the mudman had been given became my life, and I became the perpetrator of all that he did. We two became one, and the third, God, became ignored. I believe we all are spirits who have become people in this way.

I believe God likewise imagined that His Jesus qualities, the Milta, were those of a mudman. It was that the mudman should become the Messiah of Daniel 9:24 at the end of the Season of Grace. As the mudman He lived a perfect life, etc., etc., culminating the Season of Grace as He had prophesied since before the overthrow of the earth. The Jesus qualities of God became a human just as you and I became humans, and He did His bit in the Season as a man, taking us into the eternal righteousness.

Oh please, man, miss, show gratitude. Be grateful. He became as we are---a real human in this earth--so that we might become as He is. Do the Matthew 11:28-29 thing, going to Him by reading the Bible as HIS words to you, learning of Him, taking His yoke upon you. He is serious, real stuff. You cannot believe, learn, preach and do rightly without His confirmation presenting the evidence you need to know that He is real.

The 490 was a Big Thing; I Believe in the Big Guy

The 490 years Daniel prophesied (chapter 9) was a big thing to the Jews. Their captivity in Babylon demonstrated that God is playing hardball, like it or not. They had their calendars marked and were counting the days till the Messiah's arrival. Daniel 9:24 was going to happen! They did not wonder if God existed, they KNEW it. The Jews had encampments in the Jordan Valley, schools preparing the way of their Lord. John the Baptist heightened their expectations. They correlated everything that was happening to the scriptures, just as Christians today correlate everything that happens to the end times. There was an obvious schedule being kept.

Then the end came, they didn't like it, and they erased every trace that it had occurred. Except for the belief in the people who escaped them. The Jews of that day couldn't erase the belief and the presently incurred evidence of God confirming the story was true. There is your evidence of spiritual reality: God's demonstrative, responsive action in the present. The Jews saw a dead man raised back to life and STILL disbelieved, and killed the man who raised him from the dead. Jesus died for them.

Unlike the de-converting "were-believers," I do not wonder if there was a historical Jesus Christ. I know there was, for I have ample evidence of Him in the present. Just WHAT He was is what has puzzled me for many years. I have worked out that God is the consciousness, the action of the Ineffable Being, God being as far as we can go in associating anything with It. Jesus is a quality OF God which promotes all of It to the highest representation of It, and Christ is Jesus' action. Kind of a purifier, a corrector of natures.

I have "got" that characters of scripture are symbolic representations of spiritual realities. Allegories--their stories were often formulated upon popularly known historical persons and events, customized to present the spiritual teaching. But the question comes to the historical reality of Jesus of Nazareth's PHYSICAL event. It has occurred to me that the Season of Grace was a PHYSICAL picture in history of what God is doing in history, and thus for the Messiah to bring the promised eternal righteousness of Daniel 9:24 He had to actually PHYSICALLY be present and to die. Again, as I said above, I have ample personal present evidence that the Messiah is alive and seated in power in Heaven as God. So even knowing that the SCRIPTURAL story of Him is a symbolic representation of the spiritual reality He is, it must be based upon the historical person who lived that reality and now responds in the present to belief in His name.

The 490 years was a story, a picture of what God is doing. It was God's "Word" to man. And so the Son of Man came as a 490-day story, a 70-week picture of what God is doing. He was God's Word to man. He was a story--THE story--that lived, a story of that which saves and heals those who believe in it. I do not think Jesus could respond in the present if He was not physically the Man in the past. Here in the present is our evidence: the Son of God became the Son of Man that the sons of man might NOW become the Sons of God. Yea, Big Guy!!

490, 70 7s For the End

A very interesting proposition from Michael Rood; news to me. Of course everyone knows about the Jews' 70 years captivity in Babylon, and the 490 years from then to the coming of the Messiah (Daniel 9's 70 weeks of years). I forgot about the flip side of the captivity, that the Jews had not given the earth its sabbaths for 490 years, and that the 70 years of captivity was to give the earth the 70 years of rest God had decreed for it. This per Leviticus 25:2-7 and Leviticus 26:34-35, 43.

I call the period between the destructions of the Temple the Season of Grace, something I think I read from Victor Alexander. The proposition that is news to me is that Jesus' earthly ministry at the end of the Season of Grace was also 490 DAYS, or just 70 weeks long--less than a year and a half (see DISPROVING the 3.5 year ministry of the Messiah by A Rood Awakening). It looks like Jesus' ministry was a picture of the picture the Season of Grace was, a micro of the macro, a reiteration. I've got my salt, will look into it.

The Milta: "The Manifestation" in John 1 and the Revelation of God in Genesis 1:1's "Creation"

Many of us, of course, have seen that John 1:1's "In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,  the Word was God" parallels Genesis 1:1's  "In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth," I did not realize to what extent John illumined the meaning of Genesis.1;1.

In Genesis, God created the heavens and the earth as His revelation. He put His Milta, the essential connotation of Himself in the heavens and the earth. I.e., the heavens and the earth are God's Manifestation.. I.e. again, the heavens and the earth are themselves AND God. The two (the created and the Creator) were One. God in them is the Milta, which in Aramaic (John's native language) means the essential connotation for a person or thing. In a sense, the universe is two things: the created universe AND God, His Milta.

The Testament of John, John 1:1-5 in Victor Alexander's Aramaic New Testament (ISBN 9781456475789) says,

1. In the beginning [of creation] there was the Manifestation*; And that Manifestation was with God; and God was [the embodiment of] that Manifestation.
2. This was in the beginning with God.
3. Everything was within his power*, [otherwise] nothing would ever exist.
4. Through him [there] was Life* and Life became the spark* of humanity
5. And that [ensuing] fire* lights the darkness and darkness does not overshadow it.

1:1 "Milta" is an Aramaic word that has been set aside for only sacred use. Only the Messiah Eashoa is ever to be called the Milta. Grammatically, "Milta" means the essential connotation for a person or thing. There is no true English language equivalent for this word.
1:3 Literal Aramaic idiom [Lit. Ar. id.]: "[In his] hand."
1:4.1 Lit. Ar. idiomatic construction: "And without his hand, not one [thing that] became would have become."
1:4.2 "Lives," whenever it represents: "life everlasting" is stated in the plural. When used in this sense it will always be capitalized in this translation and appear as "Life."

It is apparent that while the two were one, half of the equation got screwed up becoming UNLIKE the other half. The Milta fixed that, becoming (by imagining He was the man born on the earth, thus actually becoming the man AS WE ALL HAVE) the equalizing agent IN THE SPIRIT AND THE FLESH who died for them. This is the story that saves and heals. I do not know HOW He became or becomes flesh and died or dies, but He says He did. He EVIDENCES Himself. I do not know how it is or was done, but I have NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER that He accounts it done to the fullest extent possible--completed!

If you do not already have it, I urge you to get the Aramaic New Testament by Victor Alexander. It might strike you as a rather amateurish publication -- I believe it was a one-man effort -- but he writes with a native Aramaic speaker's understanding and perspective. Well worth it. Well, let's cut to the chase: you are a fool if you don't have it.

The Milta: the Revelation of God in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1

God bless Rabbi Manis Friedman for sharing this Jewish understanding of Genesis 1:1: This one line in the Bible REVEALS God's reason for CREATION. The understanding is that the purpose for God's creation of the world is the revelation of Himself. Says Friedman, the word for to create, bara (Strong's 1254), can mean to reveal. Hence, God created the heavens and the earth to reveal Himself:

"In the Beginning God revealed Himself."

"God created the world so that He would be known."

"In the Beginning what was revealed was God."

The heavens and the earth were created to reveal God. This was not apart from what is happening now. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" (Psalm 19:1 KJV). The revelation of God is ongoingly in the heavens and the earth.

The world is as I call it, imagic.

The Milta (Aramaic) in John 1:1 is God's revelation in Genesis 1:1. "God revealed Himself (created the heavens and the earth)." That revelation of God is the Milta. John was translating the Torah: God IS what is revealed in the Milta, Himself in the heavens and the earth. And people say there is no evidence of God or of the historical Christ.

What John is saying is that that revelation of God, the Milta, God imagined Himself as a man born in this world at the end of the Season of Grace TO REVEAL HIMSELF by living a perfect life and giving Himself as man's sacrifice. John says in 1:18 that God spoke of Him, literally (in the Greek) it says that He "revealed" Him. Yes, in Genesis 1:1!!
