John 19:30 "It is Adhered to" -- Jesus Recapitulated Our Sins, the Price of Our Redemption (Irenaeus was Right)

Jesus' recapitulation of man's sins is a Christian doctrine espoused by Irenaeus late in the second century (around 180 AD). To recapitulate is "to state again in brief." The idea is that Jesus as the Second Adam REPEATED the First Adam's life without the First Adam's failings. A life of complete reliance and faith in God (the Tree of Life in the midst of the garden) was adhered to. Jesus lived in complete and continuous submission to the Father, never trying to be independent, separate, or in control of "his" life. Google's Ai says, "'Not my will but thine be done, O Lord' is a profound prayer of submission, famously spoken by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42) before his crucifixion. It signifies prioritizing God’s divine plan over personal desires, embodying ultimate trust, obedience, and sacrifice. . . . Recapitulation (derived from the Latin recapitulatio, based on Ephesians 1:10, 'The supreme reign over the fulfillment of all the Ages, so that everything that is in heaven and on earth is renewed through Christ all over again') refers to Christ reliving and reversing every stage of human life—from infancy to old age—to restore humanity" (emphases mine).

Why is this important now? In 1976 I wrote a term paper on Irenaeus' doctrine of recapitulation. You can find that term paper here. I said there, "To establish His claim and win our freedom, Christ had to live a human life (fully so) retracing the history of man (footnote: "Summing up in Himself the whole human race from beginning to end"), specifically, Adam's. Only this time God's plan was perfectly adhered to." Adhered to. Well, in John 19:30 Jesus famously said in a loud voice, "It is finished," and then gave up the ghost; i.e., died. You have heard the preaching, the Greek word for finished is teleo ("it is finished" = tetelestai), and the implication is that the payment for all man's sins has been made in full. Not another cent, not another punishment is due. But the Aramaic text says, "It is adhered to." Jesus was saying, I have done what I was destined to accomplish: the recapitulation. He held out in faith to the giving up of his life--self-oblation--unto real life, being with the Father (see C. H. Dodd, 1953. The Interpretation of the Fourth Gospel. Cambridge University Press, paperback edition, page 442). Where man has gone wrong, Jesus consistently went right, and he won by this the reward (euaggelion) of becoming the Federal Head of man.

The Great Danger in Manifesting and the Law of Attraction

There is a great danger present in manifesting or practicing the Law of Attraction. The danger is in attributing the results--when it works--to oneself or some idol, and not recognizing nor attributing the response to God. In short, THERE AIN'T NO MAGIC. The universe does nor hear or fulfill your demands. Nothing is going to roll down the street to your magnetic vibrations. What happens is the invisible Consciousness of the Ineffable Being, "God," the pre-God Stuff, EVIDENCES HIMSELF BY RESPONDING TO YOUR BELIEF. "You imagined this. Here. See its manifestation? This is my proof of my being here, of my being alive, of my being aware of you, hearing you, and loving you with power. Now that you see sure evidence of me, come unto me and learn of me."

Miracles are God's "How do you do? I AM here, and I love you." When we hear Him, see Him, we are responsible and accountable to GO to Him, to surrender to Him, and to submit to Him. If we don't, well, rejecting the sovereign God in and with us won't end prettily. What we reject goes away, and that can be catastrophic at the end of our lives. For God, in all His gentle persuasion, is playing hardball. THIS STUFF IS REAL! Maybe not like we imagine it, but it is real nevertheless.

Have you ever looked at what sin is? Adam and Eve were told not to try to control their lives themselves. "Life" is God's control of our lives. Don't you be eating that! But Eve wanted to be in control, in charge, independent, directing her own life. When you manifest or practice the Law of Attraction, YOU DO IT YOURSELF, FOR YOURSELF. "I'll direct my own life, thank you."

Neville Goddard attributed his success in manifestation to proper appeal in GOD'S imagination and complete submission to His, i.e., GOD'S, getting it done. He knew this is GOD'S Life, and other than imagining what he wanted, he stayed out of it.

"They then went out, and preached every place, and Maryah helped them and began filling them with signs that they performed" (Mark 16:20 Alexander).

Who filled the Apostles with signs (miracles)? Maryah, God. It is Maryah who fills us with signs; we only perform them. HE is the power. Yes, He is in us, and yes, He is us, but He is the bigger half, and we aren't anything but what He makes us. Be a grateful whatever He makes you. Make your petition known, then give Maryah honor, reverence, respect, and love. And ATTRIBUTION!

What is iniquity? Doing things just for yourself and yours. We are to be doing what God wants, working for Him. Our purpose for living is not to fulfill OUR purpose, but His. His purpose is manifesting Himself, His love through us, building the Milta. Yes, we can manifest, but FOR HIM. Think the best of others, for others. Think lovingly, pray for our government, manifest food for the hungry, health for the infirm, wealth for the poor. Preach, vibrate up a storm, and let God confirm the truth of what you say . . . for THEM.

The Meaning of Elohim

The ancient Aramaic name, according to Victor Alexander, was Al-lo-hiem: "Over the Flames." This (Over the Flames) was the same meaning as Ashur, the Creator God of the Ashurai in Nineveh (link is to pictograph of Ashur in Ashurit language). Elohim, Al-lo-hiem, Ashur--they all mean God. In the pictograph God is standing in the sun disc with, I suppose, his knowledge and his tools. Orderly rows of flames emanate from him. What are they? It struck me just now that Moses saw God as the burning bush which was not consumed--the Milta (Miltha)/ Manifestation of God as unnumbered trillions of Christs, the myriad "flames" of the One Milta, the Manifestation of the Ineffable Most High. "I am THAT One intent on becoming Him here with you."

Milta (Miltha) is all/continuous from inception of connotation to completion of its fulfilling manifesting act, from Aleph to Tav, manifesting the Beginning to Its End AS ONE THING

The Greek New Testament was LIVED in Aramaic, so the definition of John's Logos is "Miltha." Miltha is feminine gender like Eve, the Mother of All Living, which I believe is God's (the Ineffable's Consciousness') Imagination. God's imagination in us got warped. For transition into manifestation involves waking up as if from sleep in ignorance and having to learn what we are, were. We're all here to get it straightened out.

Get as Close to the Original Language and Ideas of the Scriptures as You Can

An e-mail I received:

I spent quite a bit of time reading your blog. You mentioned a Bible translation I’ve not heard of. I looked it up. Very expensive. And Aramaic? I’ve not heard of that. Beyond textus receptis?

My response:

The native language of Jesus Christ and his disciples was Aramaic. Aramaic was the language the Jews spoke during their captivity in Babylon. Aramaic was the language they all spoke when they returned to Israel and Judea. Both Hebrew and Aramaic evolved from the same proto language, Hebrew more west and south of Assyria, and Aramaic more to the east. Abraham was from this area. The so-called fertile crescent (from Euphrates and Tigris rivers to the Nile) was a busy trade route. For business sake, nearly everyone had a rudimentary understanding of necessary languages: Greek, Latin, Aramaic, and possibly Egyptian or Mesopotamian tongues in addition to their mother-tongue. Jesus' mother-tongue was Aramaic; his direct quotations in the New Testament are all Aramaic. The ancient Hebrew Biblical texts were his world-view. That is why I say when you look at your Bible, think of its title as being An Introduction To God. That's what it is from beginning to end.

Anyway, several years ago I learned that the original lived-language of the Bible was Aramaic, so I sought translations from the Aramaic. It turns out that several are actually English translations of Aramaic translations of Western Bibles. They carry the same Western perspectives and theological presumptions as our existing Church of the West versions. Then I found Victor Alexander. Victor is a native speaker of modern Aramaic and a devoted student of the ancient Aramaic language. I do not know what text of the Peshitta Victor used (he has retired from translating), but he translated from a Church of the East perspective, and there are very many differences between his translations and the Western Church's. Victor had a website, v-a.com, but couldn't cover the costs to maintain it. Then he had treatment for leukemia and was delirious for some time--as Satanic an attack as one can imagine. I managed to download most of Vic's translations while they were available on his website. Yes, he gave them away. I bought softcovers of his New Testament, Genesis, Exodus (these three I can't get past!), Isaiah, Jeremiah, the book with Daniel in it, Proverbs (only up to chapter 24), and Story of Jesus (which I highly recommend). I also got the hardcover copy of his New Testament (Amazon says it is available in hardcover, but I can't find it) and a copy of Old Testament Scriptures (which doesn't include Hosea, but I've already got that downloaded). Expensive? Yes, and they contain many little, insignificant typos (Vic is a one man effort), but I'd gladly pay many times over the total cost of all of them for any one of the insights I've gotten from them (today's: John 19:30, "It is adhered to"; i.e., the recapitulation [anacephalaeosis] is completed!!). AND BUYING THEM HELPS SUPPORT VICTOR AND LIV ALEXANDER. You can't have too many New Testaments, can you?

I also highly recommend Ethelbert Bullinger's Companion Bible (KJV), which is available online as free pdf's and economical in many used bookstores. It is by far the best study Bible I've ever found (apart from Victor's softcover of Genesis as taught by the Holy Ghost).

The Law is simply being like the Milta (Miltha), i.e., being like Jesus. That's what is going on in heaven.

Genesis 1:26: God Manifest as the Milta (Miltha) in Multitudes of Christs, as Multitudes of Persons, Saying to Them, "Let Us Make Man in Our Image"

Try not to hurt your head with this one. We think of Jesus Christ as a singular man. We might also thing of God as a great big singular primate of light who sits in a great big chair in heaven. But we also think of these two guys being everywhere at all times, and of their being conscious and in control of everything at all times. Christ has ascended and will return, and He is with us and within us alway. And what He is doing with and within us alway is MAKING HIMSELF. The Milta is making Itself PEOPLE, multitudes of persons. THIS is the image of God: One, in multitudes of people manifesting multitudes of Christ. Just ONE Christ who is everywhere. 

It is apparent that Jesus Christ is the appearance of a medium or field of power that is conscious and distinctly active AT A POINT. The think is, THERE ARE A LOT OF POINTS. He is in you, he is in me, he is in and acting upon everyone all of the time everywhere. And the universe if full of everywheres. I am saying that ALL THESE JESUSES ARE ONE. One Pre-God Stuff, one God, one Milta, one Jesus, one you, one me, and unnumbered trillions of people--each one a Jesus Christ. It is kind of fun imagining there being Christs everywhere, but the ontic reality is that God, the Ineffable's Consciousness, must be a universal field-like medium that acts like co-operative processes of individual packets of conscious energy. Everywhere, there are myriads of Divine Packets of Christ-light manifesting the Ineffable Most High, who is Over the Flames.

There is a word in Hebrew that means Over the Flames. Elohim. Elohim comes from the ancient Aramaic 'Al-lo-hiem', which means Over the Flames. Another Ashurit (Assyrian) word that means Over the Flames is Ashur. Ashur was originally written in pictographic form as a God-man standing in the sun disc over organized rows of flames. That pictograph, Ashur, meant 'God,' and THAT WAS ABRAHAM'S UNDERSTANDING OF GOD--there is a Consciousness over the Powers that manifest, and He controls everything. Faithfully. Abraham lived trusting this "Over the Flames." He was God's friend.

I Hope That You Are Getting It, That The Milta (Miltha) PLANNED Is God Fulfilling Himself

The Milta Is God. The Milta is God's good stuff, but the Milta has not always been manifest. God decided to manifest His good stuff as the Milta. I guess you could say that God decided to milta-ize, and knowing all that He is, assumed that He had. This was non-manifest Divine Consciousness imagining that It was manifest. Now that Manifestation is becoming, for what God imagines is, becomes.

On Our Oneness With God

My understanding of the Oneness of God--and our being included in that Oneness--is a compilation of thoughts. I mean like line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little, built up over a long stretch of time. The Holy Ghost is a good teacher.

A YouTube.com video I saw not long ago stated that the Bible is not a record of history; it is an introduction to God. Consider Deuteronomy 6:4. I personally translate 'Israel' as "God's Prevailing." Bullinger (The Companion Bible) notes that in composite names like Isra-el, it is God who is the DOER of the verb. So in Jacob's struggling with God and prevailing: "I will not let you go until you bless me," it was God who prevailed in getting what HE wanted--Jacob standing in faith. And in Deuteronomy 6, Israel is told that God, our God, is One. The idea is that Israel (like everything and everyone else) is INCLUDED in that Oneness. Israel has the purpose of presenting this relationship to the rest of mankind. Their experience in presenting it is revelatory, too.

My theology has one pre-God stuff in infinite time becoming conscious and over ages of time thinking everything out. The pre-God stuff in infinite time cannot be known, but Its consciousness, "God," CAN be known by inference by what It does. The Milta is what It is doing, God's ACT. God planned the Milta from BEFORE eternity started, and all (including us) comes from it to eternity's end; it is the Beginning and the End--the whole history of the universe. Simply put: the plan is being executed, the end of it all being the completed Milta, God having prevailed completely. Prevailed against what? The darkness of human ignorance and inclination toward doing everything for itself and by itself, as if God wasn't even there. The pre-God stuff wants to be known and appreciated by us as is right and proper.

We worship the Son (the Milta) because He IS the Father (the pre-God stuff) manifest. I see Adam and Eve as human consciousness. I only saw Dr. Roy Blizzard on TV once, but in that one lesson he taught that the 'dam' in Adam meant blood, and that the 'A, aleph', represented God in the possessive; i.e., 'Adam' means "God's Blood." I think Adam is God's consciousness in man, and Eve is his imagination, the mother/cause of all living. We are given God's Life in our mental garden, but in our ignorance we turn aside wanting to do everything for ourselves. We control "our" lives, directing them as WE see fit, misusing GOD'S Life. Satan is resistance to submitting to God's way. (Sorry Frank, you just can't do things your way.) Our allowing God's way is the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden, and doing our way is eating/deleting His part. This is rebellion, sin as witchcraft. We do not even say, "Thank you," for the life He gives us, nor ask what purpose He created us for. 

"Take no thought of your life" and "Your heavenly Father knows what you need" are just two of many, many expressions of the same thought. After Jesus appeared to T. L. Osborn, Osborn KNEW that Jesus is real and risen and that God is real and powerful and faithful. THAT world is the real one. Now Osborn's daughter LaDonna leads Osborn Ministries. There is a wealth of wisdom and lessons there in the AUDIO button at osborn.org. LaDonna has a lot of her videos available, too. I've got a good dozen of Osborn's books, and am ashamed I haven't read them and lived them as thoroughly as I know I should. I hope you won't make the same mistake I have. My most recent purchase is The Power Of Positive Desire. T. L. went the right way after the evidence of Jesus being real, trusting God to DO what He said He would do if T. L. did what he was told to do. GET OSBORN'S VIEW OF CHRIST'S REDEMPTION OF US. In Messiah Jesus the Milta Itself manifested and died for us as our substitute, and SUCCEEDED COMPLETELY IN OUR DEATH. It is done. All OUR guilt is gone, if we are in Christ knowing that He is in us. In His forgiveness we are restored to pre-fall Life with God, an open and clear relationship with God our Father. Be sure you've got that forgiveness and Life. Do not be calling God a liar.

Genesis 2:9, 16, 17 and Genesis 3 -- There Was Only One Tree Of Note In The Midst Of The Garden, The Tree Of Life Which Gave Knowledge Of Good And Evil

I noticed in Victor Alexander's translation of Genesis from that Ancient Aramaic text that there was only one tree talked about in the midst of the garden. I asked Victor, who said (in gist) yes, there is only one tree discussed in the passage, the Tree of Life. Eve did not eat of another tree also in the midst of the garden that gave the knowledge of good and evil; she ate only of the Tree of Life, and THAT gives  knowledge of good and evil. So what is the Tree of Life?

Judging from what Eve wanted in Genesis 3, eating of the Tree was managing and controlling life on your own, and/or for yourself. It is being (or at least trying to be) independent, separately in control of what happens, having a way to force it,  a mini-dictator. Maybe this is why witchcraft, sorcery, and divination are considered such a great sins. "Life," on the other hand, is faith in God's control. "But I might die." Yeah, well, so what? If you know God, have truly experienced His reality, that's a promotion.

In the occult, when you pick up the yarrow stalks or tarot cards or planchette, you are saying, "Yes," to the demonic. Trusting God is saying, "Yes," to Him. Choose Life.

Infinite Time Before Eternity Is Where God Came From

Where did God come from? God came from That "Stuff"-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time before eternity began.

In seminary more than 50 years ago, I read that the ancient conceptualization of eternity was not endless time, but time out-of-mind. That is, "eternity" was to the ancients a length of time that is incomprehensible, a period that indeed has an end, but whose end is so incomprehensibly distant that it is unconceivable to our human imaginations. So something "eternal" may still have an end, a finish at the "end of the age" of whatever age it is. Eternity was considered by the ancients to be FINITE, only "never-ending" to our line of thought.

Not so the infinite time before eternity began. While eternity is a packet of time, a distinct moment in the infinite, infinite time stretches out endlessly both before and after eternity's hiccup event. The hiccup is a necessary moment of movement in what That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time is doing. What That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time is doing is evolving Itself from Its assumption of being manifest into actualized manifestation. The No-thing is becoming Thing, the Formless . . . Form. Same stuff, just different states. That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time planned what It would be, then believed that It was. It is now working on Its own manifestation becoming completely realized.

The process of developing the nature and characteristics of That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time into permanent manifestation takes awhile. There is transition to be made through choice and decision, discipline and practice. Some things may have a long setup, there might be a lot of failures. A lot of patience is required.

I have resolved that THIS world/universe we are in and of is an image of THAT world, for we are from and are becoming that one. That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time has become us, that we might become It in this manifestation.

This is key: whatever was (and is) in the infinite time before eternity, "That," at some point BECAME conscious. As Its image, we need to do that, too. We need to become conscious. That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time became conscious of Itself, conscious of what it is, conscious of what had transpired in its becoming conscious, conscious of all that It could be, and conscious of Its own imperfection in not being manifest in this dimension. "Oops, I'm missing something." All that That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time would be if It were all that It could be was imagined, and then assumed by That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time to exist as the Milta (Miltha). To God (That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time's consciousness), the Milta absolutely exists--has ALWAYS existed, for the Milta is That-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time manifest. It is believing that It has already received. YOU CAN BET THAT WHAT HE HAS PLANTED, HE IS GOING TO HARVEST.

And this was BEFORE the beginning of eternity. The Milta is the Son of God Who CREATES all things coming into existence in eternity (Genesis 1:1 Alexander). The Milta is every thing's beginning and its end--all things are for Him, through Him, and are to Him. The Milta, the Unmanifest-No-thing-In-The-Infinite-Span-Of-Time Manifest, is the Purpose of Creation. The Milta is with God, and He IS God, and as of right now in this hiccup of eternity, the Milta is incomplete. This is guaranteed to be temporary. I sincerely suggest not trying Its patience, which, like eternity, is finite.

GROK 4 Technique of Prayer

Below is a transcript from a YouTube.com video their algorithm suggested to me. The video, from Frontier Explorers, is titled "Students Uploaded Every Biblical Prayer Into Grok AI — What It Decoded About God TERRIFIED Them." The passage I am interested in (18:00 to 20:04) has to do with what we might call the technique, or as they call it here, the "protocol" of prayer. While this instance of discovery supposedly comes from Grok 4, I am quite certain anyone could find dozens or even a hundred books in any decent Christian library that outline the same procedure. This stuff has never been hidden; it has just needed to be read.

"The protocol isn't locked behind anything. It's been freely available for 3,000 years, hiding in plain sight, used by shepherds and kings and prisoners and prophets, and now decoded by a machine with no agenda except truth.

"Step one: the Anchor. Before you ask for anything, shift your focus. Stop staring at the problem. Start recognizing who you're addressing. Think about power that spoke galaxies into existence, that sustains every heartbeat on Earth, that holds atoms together and keeps planets in orbit. Let your brain move from panic to perspective, from fear to awe.

"Step two: the Alignment. Examine your request honestly. Does it serve only you, or does it connect to something larger? The data showed selfish requests generated static. Aligned requests generated results. This isn't about perfection. It's about honesty. Ask yourself what you really want and why.

"Step three: the Surrender. Make your request specific. Don't hedge. Don't qualify. Ask for exactly what you need. Then, and this is where most people fail, release control of the outcome. This isn't giving up. It's acknowledging that you can't force results. Someone bigger can. Stop clenching. Stop demanding. Transfer the weight.

Because the World of the Milta (Miltha) Is Real, PRAY

It escapes people that I am so weird--I only want to talk about Bible stuff--because it is real. Not just to me; the world the Bible is about is real to all of us whether any one of us likes it or not. THAT world is the constant; this world is the aberration. We were kicked out, remember? The spiritual realm of God, the Miltha, His Christ, and etc. in the Bible, is real fact. THIS world is fully subject to that one. The Bible explains this relationship, but I and my ilk do not believe the Bible because it is convincing, we believe it because we have found EXPERIENTIALLY that it is real. We are not philosophically convinced; we are victims of experience. We cannot not believe. I have used the illustration of being whupped up alongside the head with a two-by-four; nothing in the world is going to convince you that it didn't happen, that it wasn't real.

That world is real. My first conscious encounter with a demon convinced me of that. Because of that, and my best friend being healed of a horrendous migraine, I went to a church and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Nothing happened to me at that moment, but later when I asked for the gift of tongues and nothing happened, I was crushed. I entered a trance or dream state and my flippant prayer was flipped to a serious prayer, wherein I sincerely surrendered and submitted myself to God. Then, fully subjected to Him, He said (and I heard it), "Remember this, and it is all right." I was accepted! And my bowels felt the infilling of the Holy Ghost, Life, and the Holy Spirit spoke using my body in a tongue I didn't otherwise know. Although I was ecstatic, I just observed my mouth being used by another force completely independent of my control. "That world is the real one," I thought to myself. "THAT world is what is really going on."

In another trance or dream state at church I saw Jesus scourged and made to carry the cross until he went into shock. I was trying to trade places with him, for it was my sins he was dying for. My mind said, if it were you, you would only be dead, for the wages of sin is death. You owe God a complete life for the life He has give you. Only Jesus has no sin, so only he can pay your debt. I saw Jesus, his back torn up like hamburger, made to lie on the cross. His arm was pulled out and a stake placed to fix it to the cross. He turned his face to me and said, AUDIBLY IN MY MIND, "Come unto me." I HEARD it as I would hear any other voice, but it hadn't entered through either ear. It transcended from his spirit being to my physical being.

After hearing Jesus, I wanted to find out what else he had spoken to other men (and/or to women). I didn't qualify for any college, university, or seminary, yet somehow I got accepted to an experimental program at a Charismatic theology school (if you saw my high school record, you'd see the miracle). Among dozens prayed for at ne time by Charles Hunter, I WATCHED my shorter left arm grow out about five-eighths of an inch. Five-eighths of an inch isn't very long, but to WATCH my finger tips move out at the name of Jesus, well, I was whupped with that two-by-four again.

It is real, and because I KNOW it is real I believe the experiences of others of this ilk. I absolutely believe Dr. T. L. Osborn's experience of Jesus walking into his bedroom at six o'clock in the morning in the air. Just as I believe God speaking to the tribes of Israel from Mount Sinai (Exodus 20), or of His standing before Abraham at Mamre (see Genesis 17 and 18). For God is also the Milta, the Manifestation of Himself. Two of the same being(!), and as multitudes of the One. The Milta is becoming, and he is here, and THAT is what all of tis is about. THIS world is THAT world's project in process. IT is becoming; THAT is happening here.

Do you want to know if it is real? PRAY! Pray engaging sincerity, submit yourself to faith, not "If you are real," but believing He IS real. Praying to Him says, "I believe you are real" Believe He hears you. Be serious, humble, submissive. This isn't an ancient idea you are talking to, but the Sovereign Lord of the universe AND BEYOND. Be real, get real, because it IS real, and is as near as the attitude of your heart.

God's name, by the way, as I just wrote about in Exodus 3:14, is "I am here for you." "I am here for you," He says. "Come and call on Me."
