"Life" here is an opportunity to wake up and become conscious and aware of being the imagination of the Ineffable Most High and to assimilate as much of Its nature as time and practice will allow

I would be a card carrying, tongue-speaking, oneness Pentecostal if the Ineffable gave out cards. Corona, California, is replete with numerous Pentecostal, Apostolic, and Charismatic churches, but I do not attend any because the only things I agree with them on is tongue speaking, oneness, and the Pentecostal experience. What else they believe in ain’t nuthin' I believe in (sorry for the colloquial speech).

I recognize the necessity of the church in teaching what is in the Bible, even if they do not understand it. A lot of churches boast of teaching right through the Bible verse by verse, which is good. It is important for people to become familiar with all the contents of the scriptures. It would be good, too, if the church could teach what the scriptures actually mean; and if the preachers could actually practice what they preach. But that ain’t there, so I don’t go. Which makes for a bit of loneliness as I try to figure things out on my own.

We are not to abandon the gathering together with fellow believers, but the only way to find people who have the same sane mystical perspective is to start a church myself, which I am loathe to do. I discovered the other day that many sides of Pentecostalism are covered on Youtube. There are videos of “Holy Ghost People” having a great ol’ time, of shady rip-off preachers, and of card-carrying nut-cases. Mostly there are videos exposing lying, cheating, rip-off artist preachers; Pentecostal oneness doctrines that are error; and the nuts. Again, why I do not go.

All of the Youtube detractors from Pentecostalism, though, are in just as much error as the Pentecostals in their understanding of God, Jesus Christ, and the mission of the church. Most of them have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Quite depressing. They wouldn’t know Jesus if he bit them on their, well, he don’t bite. Anyway, they all seem to think he was God born as a man instead of man conscious of being and embodying the PRINCIPLES of God; i.e., us, if we were. It is interesting that the Pentecostals, Charismatics, and their detractors all believe that the others are stupid, deceived, and are going to hell. Well, most all of us are and will be restored to continue death here to complete our three days in hades.

If you want to take anything away from this, "life" here is an opportunity to wake up and become conscious and aware of being the imagination of the Ineffable Most High and to assimilate as much of Its nature as time and practice will allow. There is so very much explanation out there - Neville, Joseph Murphy, and their ilk. It is overwhelming to try to read it all. It comes down to doing it. Practice. Getting one's worship to get them into awareness of God's presence here in us. There is not anything else we ought to desire as much as that. Knowing about it is only information, digits spinning on the external hard drive. We need the real knowledge of experience, of tasting real evidence of the ascension unto the heavenly hope in ourselves. "When it works," Neville said. Ain't nuthin' going to work 'til we do (again, sorry for the colloquial speech).

This life is opportunity, my friends. Let's not waste it.
