God is Consciousness: We are God's Conception of Capital 'S' Self

If you understand that Moses was expert in the myths and religions of Egypt and are at all familiar with them (try Ancient Egypt, the Light of the World by Gerald Massey), you might see why Moses was so interested, even obsessed, with jethro. 'Jethro' means "his jutting over." It refers to the super abundance of God, his blessing, receiving "good measure, pressed down, and shaken together." Good stuff and lots of it comes from God -- Allaha. Jethro is Allaha's beneficence. You approach God and there is this mountain of love jutting over ready to topple over on you. The mystery of it was "father-in-law" to Moses, the son born drawn from the waters. Moses wondered about goodness, salvation, rescue, success, increase -- from whence this beneficence? What are the invisible mechanics of it? Moses wondered a lot about jethro. Maybe you do, too.

Moses meditated concentrating his consciousness on the matter to fathom an answer to this problem, and God, the 'His' in 'His jutting over,' gave it to him: "Hi. You do not need an intermediary here. You have reached reality, consciousness, the kingdom, the Original Mind. This is the real stuff, real Life, the Source of your blessed thoughts which have drawn you here. But, eh, your other thoughts have got some problems, and I want to help you with them. I want to heal your head-ball. Stop thinking ignorant world-of-death thoughts and just think this realm's thoughts."

"How can I just think these thoughts and not think my ignorant world-of-death thoughts?" Moses asked. "What is the nature of this realm?"

God answered, "Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh" (ancient Aramaic according to Victor Alexander's version of Exodus 3:14).

Let's start with 'Ashur,' because I believe the 'a' in 'Ahiyeh' means "I," and the "I" referred to would be Ashur. Ashur is the Creator God of the of Assyrians (Moses was from Egypt, but the Hebrews from Abraham came from Assyria; yes, Abraham is an allegory, but these are lines of thought, not people). 'Ashur,' says Alexander, is the beginning spark that kindles the fire. It is the light, the uncreated Creator who creates everything from nothing.

Ashur is the linguistic equivalent of Elohim, which signifies "Above-the-Flames." Ashur is the power, the Kingdom of God. 'Kingdom' is not a place. Kingdom is "the rank, quality, state, or attributes of a king; royal authority; dominion; monarchy; kingship" (Webster's Dictionary). I.e., the Kingdom of God is the power inherent in the nature of God -- the Ineffable Most High -- that makes It King. This can only be the consciousness of the Ineffable, Its Imagination by which It conceives and speaks forth (by imagining!) all things which are to be into being. The mental conception of God is the "spark" that kindles the fire of each thing's existence.

'Ahiyeh' is the one who comes in his coming, the absolute sense of "the one who comes." It is the eternal presence of the Ever-Present, the never ceasing intent of the comer to come. Who intends to come? The Ineffable in Its consciousness. Its consciousness is ever intending thisward to Its Manifestation.

'Hiyeh' is a related form of the same word, meaning "his coming" (third person singular). 'His' who? Jethro. That is all this has been about. Moses has been tending Jethro's flocks -- thoughts about jethro, the mysterious and blessed increase of God -- salvation, healing, harvest, security, etc.. God just told him that jethro is from consciousness, His consciousness, formed through imagination. Jethro is YHWH -- consciousness -- manifest. It is a conception of Its Self. ITS CONCEPTION OF ITS SELF IS IN OUR HANDS!!! He has put in our minds and hearts and mouths the authority to DO it, and THIS is the Gospel that saved the nation from slavery in Egypt, the Gospel that was proclaimed in the Epoch of Anointing just before the second temple was destroyed: "Repent, and believe the Gospel" . . . first preached to Moses by the Angel of YHWH!
