Refuse What You Hear In Love; Sleep In The State You Want In Love

"I want to go to Barbados," said Neville. To those who are familiar with the story, Abdullah famously replied to Neville, who was in New York at the time, "You are in Barbados."

Abdullah, who loved Neville, refused to hear what Neville did not want, which was his being in New York. Instead, he heard what Neville did want, which was his being in Barbados. Abdullah accepted this as the rule of God, that Neville had what he wanted, even though the presently manifest situation denied that it was true.

The technique used to cause what Neville wanted to manifest was to go to sleep at night as though he was in the state he desired, i.e., in Barbados. If he were in Barbados, he would sleep in his bed there. So, sleep in that bed as your real experience. Go to sleep in that state. Abdullah, seeing Neville in New York, refused to see him as there. "You are in Barbados. We cannot discuss how you are going to get to Barbados if you are already there." This is a peculiar mental economy, but it makes perfect sense to me. Rejoice, praise, give thanks - gratitude - AND LOVE. Sleep in the pleasance - the satisfaction and delight - of love.

When you meet someone who is weak, see them as strong: sick as well, poor as rich, tired as refreshed, hurried as relaxed, crippled as capable, stingy as giving, etc., etc., in love!!

Do all things in love, including all your imagining. Love the one whose present situation you refuse, and encourage them to love the state they sleep in.

"I want." "You are." "I’m sick." "You are not. You are fully recovered as you desire to be. You have never felt better. Now, sleep in this state and love it. Thank and praise God for it, and love him for giving it to you. And when you awake, health is the state you ARE in, regardless of any appearance to the contrary. Says God, who loves you."
