Note on Devotion, #3

"If the words God, Lord, Jesus, Jehovah, or Christ bring to your mind images of unique humans, you have the wrong God" (Neville Goddard per my memory). These things are real, but they are not PEOPLE. Even the Jesus in the Gospels is not a human individual but a compilation of the best of gods and teachers - the universal message. I differ from Neville in that I believe with Carl F. Rehnborg that an anointed Jew in the Season of Grace sacrificed himself - gambled, sweated, and won - for us. To us he is anonymous, but God says, "He is Me." THAT MAN'S NATURE OF DEVOTION AND LOVE IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO PICK UP AS HIS "NAME."
