My Conversation With God, or, The Gospel According To God, Part Two

God showed me that he rejected me because I maintained self-lordship: I deemed myself to be in utter control of myself even to the exclusion of him. I was my own god; I took care of whatever I needed to. Not well, but my standards weren't too high. Well, okay, I was a bum in Hawaii living in a pickup truck in the Ala Wai harbor parking lot, just trying to get by. I spent my time reading philosophy and metaphysics, listening to music, biking around, and practicing photography.

Then a couple of miracles shook my world. The world was not supposed to be like that, but there they were, and it was. It is. So I got saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and was learning. God spoke to me while I was in the trance leading to my baptism in the Holy Spirit. At the end he said, "Remember this, and it is all right." That was in the still, small voice; like someone whispering from far away. He is Glorious God, and he is in control.

Not long after that I was in a trance again. I saw Jesus scourged and subsequently laid on his back on the post to be crucified. Just as they were about to drive a spike through his hand to the cross, he turned his face to me and said, "Come unto me." Oh how I wished I knew what that meant. How was I supposed to get to heaven? He said it in a strong, audible voice in the brain's nervous system. If it had come through either ear I would have turned my head to look at him, but it had just manifested in the brain -- direct input to the hearing lobe. Neat trick. He could get to me, now how was I suppose to get to him?

It wasn't prayer. He wasn't saying talk to me or pray to me, or come to me in prayer. He was talking about him: "Come unto me." I have since learned that there was no him; he is the Manifestation, the Anointing of God's consciousness, its power and its wisdom—“Christ”—upon our consciousness. It enlivens us like we enliven this mud we are in by imagination.

The key, again, is control. The nature of Jesus is God. The Anointing is Glorious God. If I want something, he is in control. Supposed to be, anyway. I am kind of like Adam. We all are God's consciousness imagining, God’s blood: “Adam.” But if we want something, we in our own nature go and get it. Without proper, conscious recognition, respect, and honor to God, that is not a good thing. This is his life, and he is in control, but he has given control over to us to give it back over to him, which is proper and fitting. "Thy Kingdom (proper wisdom and power) must be being restored" (Alexander's term) -- i.e., His power in us must be being RECONSTRUCTED! (J. Sidlow Baxter). We are to regain it.

We were not supposed to go independent, but ignoranced by amnesia from our flip from spirit into humanhood, we forgot our proper roles and took control of our lives. Self-control. Self-LORDship. We exercise our wisdom and power to bring our desires into living apart from God's control. We each are Adam and Eve—that process. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is our control, and the Tree of Life is him in his control.

So to go unto him is to recognize his Anointing/Life in the imagining—“Come unto ‘Me’”—and to submit in faith to his control over the matter.
