The Life of Eashoa, the Life-giver (Jesus, the Milta [Miltha]), AS the War
"Life is a battle," we are told. Yes, life is a battle, but we think of the battle in the wrong way; the battle isn't just to get by, it is to manifest Allaha (God, or the Godhead in Aramaic) in our lives. I read recently that John somehow knew about the Revelation before Patmos. Where had he learned it? He had been a disciple of Eashoa ('Jesus' in Aramaic, meaning Life-giver, the Milta [Manifestation of the Ineffable Most High, Allaha, in man], pronounced long 'e', sh, long o), THE Revelation of Allaha. John had seen that the whole life of Eashoa was the war:
"And there was a battle in heaven, and Michael and his angels fought the dragon, And the dragon and his angels fought [back]* (or: prevail). And they could neither [fight back,] and nor could they regain* (find) their place in heaven. (And) cast [out] was that great dragon, that ancient serpent, That is called the outcast [maker] and Satan, That leads the entire world to oblivion--cast [down] over the earth, And his angels together with him, were cast [out]" (Revelation 12:7-9 Alexander).
John was saying that "this (our lives) . . . is that (the battle in heaven)" I.e., we are now IN the war, like it or not. The dragon and his angels prevail only temporarily; Eashoa has prevailed in the battle and has won the war. It is here for us now to fight for Eashoa's manifestation in us--for the Milta's manifestation of the Ineffable to become complete. This present life IS the great war in heaven, which war is in our minds and spirits. This is a war between the unspeakable, barbaric cruelty and coldness of heart of the animal nature still prevailing in man, and the rightness of the loving, merciful and just Allaha. The Milta, the Manifestation of Allaha, does win out. THAT is evidenced in the imbuement with the Holy Ghost in baptism.
Eashoa's whole life was a war of recapitulation. The way to look at Eashao's life is as THE battle. Turning the other cheek and loving your neighbor as yourself are of its tactics and strategy. The actual doing of them in this War of Amazing Love are salvos of the spiritual power we are channels of. Our lives are to be "good news for you and yours," for the animal man can only be saved through the revelation of the loving, just, and merciful Allaha. What is RIGHT for us . . . because Allaha IS . . . was exemplified by Eashoa Msheekha. Eashoa did what is right in a war of recapitulation. The war is in heaven, in the MIND, and in our actions; "the Kingdom of God has to do with attitudes" (Dr. John Messer). The Holy Ghost imparts Eternal Life to man when She comes in, when the lordship of the animal man, his heart, is truly submitted to Her.
We are to recruit others both to this Life and to this war. Wrote Frank C. Laubach in 1909: "I suppose in the long years to come, when the people shall take a backward glance over four centuries in history, they shall call the seventeenth century the period of freedom from religious intolerance, the eighteenth the century of the freedom of a race from bondage, the twentieth, the century of the freedom of the whole human race from the curse of war." Note that we are running far behind. Laubach also said, "If we are to make the spiritual discovery that will save our age, it will be in the direction Jesus took: intense, unwavering, day-after-day listening prayer, and instant, unwavering, daring obedience when God speaks—listening and saying yes at whatever cost." THAT is the way of the Warrior.
