Jesus Sacrificed the Man He was in: The Sign of Jonah
What was the sign of Jonah? The sign was to the sailors he had caused trouble to. Jonah gave his body, the man he was in, to be sacrificed to God for the sailors' redemption. The sailors sacrificed him. Jonah died, and the storm stopped. The sea became calm.
"Oh. My. God." exclaimed the sailors, recognizing the reality and might of Jonah's God. They worshiped.
Eashoa ("Life-giver," the Milta (Miltha): Jesus in Aramaic) gave His man to be sacrificed for us, Matey. Got storms, raging seas? Make Jesus your Jonah, His man your sacrifice to God.
