"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 KJV).
All things work together for good? Yes, for them who love God and are the called according to his purpose! I think Vic Alexander gives a clearer picture. We do not know what to pray for. But the holy spirit in us knows the intention of our spirit, so while we sigh in deep emotion, it prays on our behalf according to God's will. In this way, those who love God in everything -- the called -- are helped toward goodness (see verse 28):
26. Thus also that same Spirit shall minister to our infirmity. For how is it that we pray not knowing what we ask for: except the Spirit prays on our behalves through our unspoken sighs.
27. He that revives hearts, He knows what is the intention of the Spirit, thus according to God's will He prays on behalf of the saints.
28. We know then that those who love God in everything, He helps them toward goodness, those whom He consecrated beforehand to be called.
29. And beforehand He knew them and gave them the mark in the likeness of His Son's image, that he shall be the holy Sacrament* of many brethren.
30. To those whom He beforehand gave them the mark, He called, and to those whom He called, he sanctified, and to those whom He sanctified, he glorified.
31. What shall we thus say about that? If God is on our side*, who is against us?
Like this is Matthew 6:6 -- "You, however, when you pray, enter your home and shut your door, and pray to your Father unseen. And your Father who sees the unseen, will repay you openly."
So, if you want to be HELPED in manifesting by that which is DOING it, accept the Lovingkindness of our Father, Jesus, as Lord.
"And pray to your Father." "Who love God in everything." The Source. The Divine Intelligence. The Consciousness. The first thing even before knowing exactly what you want, is a relationship with whatever you believe the Ineffable to be. There is something out there of which we are an extension, and It is going to work for you as an Orchestrator to show you that It is there, and that you are It. IT WANTS TO BE KNOWN. "And this hope of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the universe, as testimony for all nations, and then the end shall come" (Matthew 24:14 Alexander).
You do not need to tell people what you are praying for, but as Neville often stressed, "You learn, and then you teach."
