Sensing the Presence of God as the Secret of Neville Goddard's 3D Imagining Technique

Time for me to repent in dust and ashes. In my experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, I repented of my rebellious self-lordship and cast self-control out of myself. In full submission to God I waited for direction from him of what I was supposed to do. In my mind's eye, I was in the mountains kneeling with bowed head at the trunk of a large felled pine tree. I sensed the sky above me was filling from left to right with the rosy aspen-glow of God's glory. I dared not look up; it was the evidence of his very presence.

God's very presence. CATCH THIS: THE SENSING OF THAT PRESENCE WAS WHAT ABDULLAH, NEVILLE, JOSEPH MURPHY, THE SAINTS AND ALL THE JESUS CHRISTS LIVED IN ALL THE TIME. THAT is what Neville was talking about in Your Faith is Your Fortune, his lectures, and all the other books he wrote -- experiencing God's presence. Neville, Murphy, et al, practiced the presence of God as "unconditioned awareness of being," "the subconscious mind," "floating up on the high tide above all the facts of the world which deny the existence of your fulfilled desire," and "the Silence." Repented of this world, they entered the presence of God with praise and thanksgiving. THEY REALLY DID IT AND EXPECTED THAT EXPERIENCE OF US.

How far do we have to go? It is mental. You inwardly turn to God, accepting him and repenting and asking for forgiveness as you forgive this world, and then you praise, worship, adore, and enjoy him. It is REPENT, BE BAPTIZED (which in this case has absolutely nothing to do with LIQUID water), AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT -- GOD'S CONSCIOUSNESS -- AS A DIPPED BUCKET RECEIVES WATER. In your own world you praise him, thank him, worship him with emotional and verbal expressions of these.

I think we forget that Neville was a fanatical religious ascetic when he met Abdullah, who was himself an extreme esotericist. "God is here, in me. Not only that, we are one, with God working THROUGH me!" This was the attitude and mindset, I believe, of Dr. Frank C. Laubach and unnumbered other great missionaries. Practicing His Presence (edited by Gene Edwards, Auburn, Maine: Christian Books, 1973) is a great resource for Labach's and Brother Lawrence's view of reality. Here is a modern example of this mindset from Sid Roth's television show:

Jesus Wants You to Hear What He Told Me in Heaven!-Kynan Bridges
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shY4oXuVkI0)

Their advertised/"offered" book is Bro. Lawrence only. Does not include excerpts from the original Letters By a Modern Mystic (Laubach, Student Volunteer Movement, 1937) or Christ Liveth in Me and Game With Minutes (Westwood, NJ: Fleming H. Revell Company, 1961).

What Jesus told Kynan in the link above, by the way, is that there is SO MUCH MORE for us. Where are we going to find it? THERE, WITH HIM, when we are in his presence.

Cultivate your knowledge of God and your sense of his actual, tangible, palpable presence within you. He is, after all, your own wonderful human imagination. Oh, here's another nice site: Christ As Us (http://christasus.com).
