Hi Dan,

I hope you don't mind, but I would appreciate your opinion regarding Alan John Miller (aka Jesus of Nazareth) - website:  https://www.divinetruth.com/www/en/html/index.htm#about.htm

Many thanks,

Hello Dan,

I watched a few minutes of it, but couldn't bear any more.

Gani,

I understand. At first I was rather neutral about A. J. Miller. After seeing what he is really doing I see that he is probably a truly demon possessed individual. Just an opinion. His history reflects perfectly the operation of demonic spirits in cultivating a "god." My textbooks for this are The Worship of the Dead or the Origin and Nature of Pagan Idolatry and Its Bearing Upon the Early History of Egypt and Babylonia by J. Garnier and The Origin of Pagan Idolatry Ascertained from Historical Testimony and Circumstantial Evidence by George Stanley Faber.

In short, some time after very famous and powerful leaders die, such as Cush and Nimrod after the deluge and the rebellion at Babel, demonic spirits feign being those actual leaders having evolved into gods. They speak through mediums and induce strong emotional responses and voila, a new religion -- strong enough that people will sacrifice their marriages, morals and children.

So A.J., with the insights to human personality that demons provide him, demonstrates to the unperceptive and undiscerning that he is Jesus, then there is nothing their (the demons') victims will not do for him, because they have seen the "truth."

Were they listening, they would have noticed that he said quite clearly that he is not the Jesus of scripture, which is a compilation of myths. This is true. The Jesus Christ of scripture is God-in-us, the subtle inner man who died to become us and is us in our ignorance. His crucifixion is at the beginning, at our birth. The crucifixion in the scriptures is a pericope, a extract summary of the whole process of God's life becoming us, spending the full time to complete perfection (three days in hell/here), then ascending to a state higher than we had left. We are him in this process.

There never was a human Jesus Christ other than ourselves. The nailing to the cross was and is figurative of our fixation to these bodies. It never happened to "the babe grown up." If the Gospel writers ever had a human in mind who embodied the principles* of Christ, it was probably Jacob ('James' in Greek) the Righteous, the "brother of YHWH," whom the priests and/or the Pharisees killed by throwing down the stairs of the temple. Don't people ever read history?

A.J. says he was a human teacher of divine truth. Not necessarily God's truth, but "divine" (demonic?) truth. There are no demons, of course, but the corporate ignorance of Christ in amnesia (having become ignorant us) requiring to be fully played out. I do not know if that makes any sense to you or to anyone else. It is an avenue our ignorance can take us from which we need to wake up and overcome.

If you know anyone under this man's spell, tell them to disprove him themselves. God can handle the challenge. What you can disprove, discard. (Whoops, there goes A. J.!) What you cannot disprove, keep testing, because you are dumber than you think. Jesus said many shall come in my name and shall deceive many. Hello? Why did he say that? Jesus said in so many words, "If they say to you, 'Lo, he is over there in a compound in Australia,' DO NOT GO, BECAUSE THE GUY IS FULL OF CRAP." Just an opinion.

The Gospels' Jesus said this because the Jesus Christ of scripture is the power of God and the wisdom of God in us. "Lo, I am with you alway." Always was, always will be. Go to Him who is you, not some nut case in the Aussie outback. Just an opinion.

*Please note that "Jesus Christ" is the PRINCIPLE of God in us. "A principle can no more become a man on earth than Time can walk out of a grandfather's clock." -- Gerald Massey.

Thanks Dan.

Miller uses text book rehabilitation psychology, combined with selective scriptures; discarding any scriptures that refute his teachings. Miller's  background and beliefs are disconcerting, but I imagine the best for my relative.

Why do you think some individuals find it difficult to follow Neville Goddard's teachings? I sometimes wonder if it is the need to have someone here and now to relate to and obey.

Thanks,

Gani

Gani,

"There is no accounting for people." We are eternal being (not plural) individualized and come here completely "ignoranced" to learn something, with no guarantee that we will. We have an eternity in which to achieve. I was, in the 1960's-70's, deceived in the occult, but I was there for I purpose I did not suspect. My experience there, from which I was "saved," catapulted me into genuine Christian experience which I could NEVER have achieved otherwise. There really is a Big Guy watching over all of this, and He is powerful beyond all conception. There really is a reason to prostrate. That He is me just completely boggles me.

As for following Neville, it takes thinking. The Big Guy had me learn how to read. For me, reading is wrestling, a war. When I do read, I do it with a sword to hack through to understanding. You can think and read. Miller's followers are largely listeners. I am not saying that they cannot read, but there is "reading," and there is reading. They will receive the value of their expenses when they realize that he is nothing. That lesson will be worth the price of admission. I worry, though, for people who are completely boggerhead (proven incapable of learning the lesson). They seem to get recycled early, which means restored to try again. Let's hope it does not finally go the route of Jonestown, Waco, and Heaven's Gate.

Dan
