Euangelion--"Gospel"--Means the Reward for Producing the Word

The Greek word euaggelion properly means the reward or payment given to the messengers who bring glad tidings. It did not originally mean the message itself. In fact, its use for the message brought in the New Testament is among the first, if not the very first, occurrence in history. So in general colloquial use, the population hearing, "Repent, and believe in the Gospel," HEARD "Repent, and believe in the reward for producing the message."

Apply this to the Milta (Miltha). Now we are Him. We produce the Word. There is a reward for that: the Word's becoming.
