So Many Things To Consider 7: Witness Of Demons
It didn’t take more than a heartbeat to realize that it was a deceiving spirit, a demon, that the world must really be as the Bible describes, and I was going the wrong way. That demon did more to convert me than all the sermons and testimonies I had ever heard. No book could ever be as effective as encountering a real demon. If he is there, then God must be, too.
Yet I believe that demons are manifestations of Ignorance. Like everything else, they are consciousness and imagination. If we are here to overcome ignorance, we have to encounter manifestations of it. Duh. In a real sense, it is not attacking us, we are attacking it. It’s just that so many of us don’t know it. “Ack! Ack! I am being attacked by the Devil. He has come to steal, kill, and destroy, and otherwise do his job.” So? He has to for you to destroy him. Buck up, bunky. Greater is He who is in you. How are you to find your strength without a little exercise?

Reading this post has been a manifestation for me on a very profound level. I was wondering why demons exist if Neville's word was accurate and imagination is the one and only reality. Thank you.

Consciousness is a manifestation of the one and only reality, the Ineffable, and imagination is a manifestation of that (i.e., of the Ineffable's consciousness). The thing is, Shveta, it is not our imagination, it is the Ineffable's. We are bits OF His imagination, verily His thoughts as He manifests Himself in and through us. His consciousness, which we call God, YHWH, and Jesus (&etc.), is all that we are ever going to see of the Ineffable. We just have to put it all together from the works that are done, that we see. Those include Jesus raising from the dead, demonstrating the complete defeat of ignorance, Satan, demons, darkness, and whatever evil may be. They too are bits of His imagination, given here for us to exercise getting rid of them. We have His authority if we are believers; they don't because they doubt Him: "Did He really say ...?" We say, "Yes! And you, begone!"
You have not seen Jesus risen from the dead? He is in the works. What has Jesus Christ done for you?
