Relationship With God Is Unavoidable

We had some correspondence with a young lady I nicknamed Love. Love was having a difficult time finding joy and happiness in life. It had been a pretty negative experience thus far, and she was trying to find a key, a technique to let her out of its misery--Law of Attraction, affirmations, manifesting, etc.. She said in one missive that she did not want, at least at that time, a relationship with God.

Which was, of course, her problem. We cannot avoid a relationship with God, for God is not other. We are IN Him, and we are OF Him. Everything IS Him, for He is manifesting AS us. We can deny it, reject it, ignore it, but we cannot stop ourselves being Him manifested as our EXISTENCE. "You are God" (Psalm 82:6, literal translation, emphasis God's); you can't get much clearer than that. I recommend you do not deny the scriptures.

The Divine Conscious Who is Jesus is not conscious of us, like an observer. We are His consciousness. In Him, for He is imagining us. Him, actually. He is having our thoughts, and wants to improve. That is what all this existence is: His self-improvement program. We are in His process.
