I use the image of a two-sided coin to illustrate our oneness with God, who is the one coin. The top surface is a spotless, polished proof--perfect in every way. The bottom is ugly, dirty and marred human ignorance. Our job as God's consciousness here is to make our lower side like the upper side, and that is not done by effort as much as by submission to the oneness.
In reality, everything IS God; the Ineffable so much more than we can ever imagine. The whole of ontic reality is a one-sided coin. Even this marred and ugly side is the spotless, polished proof; for we
are Ineffable doing what the Ineffable is doing.
