I know the title sounds a little confusing, but bare
with me. According the Bible, there was a six-day
creation when everything was created, right? Well,
no, that isn't what it says. Okay, it does say that,
but that isn't what it means. You see, the Hebrews
were in the habit of saying something in the past
tense to express the certainty of an action taking
place based upon the fixed determination and ability
of the actor to perform what he has planned (Young's
Literal Translation of the Bible: View of Hebrew
tenses as seen in the New Translation, and "Waw
Conversive" a fiction - not a fact). For example,
you scale the mountain in your mind first before you
do it: "Can you do it?" "I have scaled the mountain
(it is as much as a done deal in my mind). Watch, and
see!"
In the six-day creation of the universe, God
determined what he was going to do in the future.
He set his goals and defined what he was going to
accomplish. The plan for the universe to be was
ESTABLISHED, "created" -- that is where we are going.
The Genesis creation is a blueprint of the end God has
determined. He has not yet finished building it, of
course, but God will be all-in-all: everything will
be Beautiful. Christ, which is God's connection with
and in his manifestation, will be LORD over all.
I heard the Christian gasp. "He said, 'Christ, which'
instead of 'Christ, who.'" Well, yes, of course,
Christ is the principle of God's connection with and
in his manifestation: we are the who. 'In' means is.
We are the Word of God. I know that sounds a little
pretentious, but it explains miraculous healings.
Healings are a taste of the future end: "Do you like
it?" "You bet!"
Before the beginning in Genesis 1: 1, the Most High
God, the ineffable, incomprehensible No Thing, desired
form (there are no words to describe it, which is the
whole point of its being ineffable and incomprehensible).
That form was the little child or nursling in Proverbs
chapter 8, who "was daily His delight" (v. 30), some-
times referred to as wisdom, elsewhere as its son.
The Ineffable's first act in creation was to create
God, which is us. We don't know it, because we forgot
everything of there to live here. Okay, sorry, getting
too deep. This really isn't that complicated.
My point is that from the initiation of the plan before
creation to the future end of creation, all time is
present to God -- who all of us are -- EXCEPT we have
removed from ourselves of any awareness of that fact.
But, ignorant of this reality or not, all time is present
to us on the level of the rest of God to whom we are
connected through Christ. God is advaita: without
division. "Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our Elohim is one
Jehovah" (Deuteronomy 6: 4). At our core, there is no
separation between God and ourselves. That core is the
consciousness behind our consciousness. Overtly, it is
our imagination (not imaginary, but imagination.
When we get with-God as a state of mind, a certain
attitude we strike within ourselves through praise,
worship, adoration and gratitude -- Biblical rightness -
- we enter into unity with the greater consciousness of
God who is above nature of time. All historic time
becomes, de-facto, present time to us.
We may not be conscious of the constant present, but
the rest of God certainly is. Our past experiences'
connection with our present state becomes exposed:
everything shares the same time. Our connection with
our destiny, the End Beautiful, becomes present, also.
Do you see where this is going? When we are with-God
in mind and heart, our un-right past confronts the
Beauty and Splendor of the end. It isn't future anymore.
Whatever is not right is "sin" -- off target from God's
predetermined Form ("Let us make Man in our Image") -
- and has to become reconciled and conformed to the
perfection of the Form.
This is effectual. That our past connects with the
future end isn't just religious philosophy: things
change. Sin is judged and corrected. What things went
wrong in the past become right: "If your sins are red
as crimson, they shall be whitened like snow" (Isaiah
1: 18; Victor Alexander translation [v-a.com/bible]).
The consequences of our past have continued until the
present, but when we are with-God, our present becomes
the Paradise. Sinful causes from the past no longer
exist, and their results, inconsistent with God's
perfection, dissolve -- they become a "wash." They
un-happen. What went south now did not. The bad decision,
the bad luck, the crooked course that has caused our
un-rightness becomes right and straight.
Yes, that is right: past history, at least for you,
has changed. In The Yod and the Aleph, I used the
example of my friend's miraculous healing from
tuberculosis. In her with-God ecstasy, because she was
in Paradise, her past contracting of tuberculosis never
happened, and, as it no longer ever happened, its
effects disappeared. She was healed. But I, who had
gotten tuberculosis from her, still had it!
The touch that contaminated with leprosy wasn't
touched -- for her. The step that slipped becomes sure;
the accident becomes avoided, the arrow, dodged.Sin
loses it sting, and its effects disappear. Christ
has won, and the person becomes whole.
"And he (the thief) said unto Jesus, 'Remember me, my
Lord, when you come in the [Glory of] your Kingdom.'
Jesus told him, 'Amen, I am telling you, that on this day
you are with me in Paradise'" (Luke 23: 42-43; Victor
Alexander, emphasis mine).
A crazy pipe-dream? Go to youtube.com and search T. L.
Osborn's campaigns. I suggest listening to T. L. Osborn
because he is strictly scriptural and won't scare you
too much. (I think one of the best T. L. Osborn audios
to listen to is The Believer's Mission of Healing,
http://www.brothermel.org/audio-video/214/ ).
I have been listening to T. L. Osborn campaign speeches
trying to pin down his method (he has been doing this
stuff successfully for over sixty years). He simply
repeats an expanded version of a sermon he heard William
M. Branham preach over sixty years ago: we were good
with God, the devil (our ignorance due to the flip)
screwed us over -- which introduced disease and
corruption, Jesus came and redeemed us back to God,
and if we were redeemed back to God successfully by
Christ, then disease and corruption ARE DONE AWAY WITH,
and if we believe that Jesus Christ was successful and
that we ARE redeemed, God WILL heal us (that, by the way,
is what the word 'Jesus' means: Jehovah Providing).
Osborn keeps tapping on these points over and over and
from every angle he can find, hoping that people will get
with-God. Some people do and it works; they get healed
because their past becomes changed to conform to the glory
of God. Keep tapping on these truths in faith and you may
realize that you are in the Paradise of God and get healed,
too.
You might want to fast-forward to when Osborn's preaching
begins:
Nakuru: all is good, but T. L. starts preaching at six
minutes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW4qrU2W2dQ
Luzon: T. L. speaks at 17:30 in
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-uu4XHEd9w
Holland Wonder: 12 minutes in;
Filopino (sic.) Passion: 29 minutes;
Athens of India: 32 minutes;
Ghana: 24;
Healer of Trinidad: 16;
Black Gold: 23.
One of T. L.'s testimonies of seeing Jesus:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyz2Bl4fQyU&feature=related
I recently discovered this: Tell Them About Jesus.
It starts slow and T. L. gets to talking about twenty
minutes into it, but in his speech he asks important
questions people want to know the answers to, and he
answers them: Who will God heal? Why will God heal?
When will God heal? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70GaTw0zk-E
Like I said, Osborn is strictly scriptural, strictly
orthodox and strictly non-spooky. Normal people listen,
consider, and almost inadvertently become with-God
and are healed. Their pasts are forgiven and their
present states are reconciled with the future end.
Miraculous healings . . . are time travel.
