The Guy Is Real: We Had Better Deal With Him As A Real Man (He Is WITHIN Us--NOTHING Escapes Him)

My friend asked me to explain how the Bible says that the earth is 6000 years old, while even our own, common observation tells us that it is many thousands/millions of years old--about four billion "exactly." Last night I heard a fellow on YouTube say, "the Bible is not to inform you, but is to introduce you." I cannot find that video again, but many thanks to the man who said it.

The Bible (literally, "the Book") could be titled The Introduction To God. Our faith is not to be in the truth of historical records, but in the truth of the introduction of God. It is by and from (and entirely about) Him. Believe what God says about THAT.

One thing I tried to explain to my friend is that the Bible is not meant to be an accurate historical record. The tradition about oral traditions is that ancient peoples commonly recounted historical legends. Monuments had stories behind them, which people heard and shared. There really was a Moses and an exodus, and everyone knew about it. But commonly known histories such as Moses' were usurped, converted, and used by the Bible's authors for their introductions to God. Yes, there really were historical people behind them, but the stories in the Bible are not their stories, they are written to be God's introduction. As introduction, the Exodus and other stories are Gospel truth. THAT is what we are putting our faith in.

Neville Goddard was a Bible teacher who frequently insisted that the human characters of the Bible (and places, times and events) were figurative and/or allegorical; that none of them ever had a personal history. "If when I say Lord, or God, or Jesus, and you see in your mind a human form, a person, YOU  HAVE THE WRONG GOD!" And then he's say that every word of the Bible was true. And he was right in saying that, because the Bible is not information, but introduction. God is an invisible, supra-universal power that is intelligent and appears, manifests HIMSELF as a man. And that Man is REAL.

I asked Google AI about Neville saying that he had been embraced by Love, and It (God) was a Man, and AI said:

In several lectures, Neville Goddard described a personal mystical experience where he was embraced by a male figure representing infinite love, whom he identified as the Risen Christ, or God. The experience was a profound, spiritual one rather than a physical or romantic encounter, and it served as a central part of his teachings on the nature of God.

The mystical experience

In his lectures, Goddard explained the experience in detail:

  • He described standing in the presence of a "Man" who personified infinite love.
  • When asked, "What is the greatest thing in the world?" Goddard answered, "Faith, hope and love. These three, but the greatest of these is love".
  • Following his answer, this male figure embraced him. Goddard said he and the figure "fused and became one body of infinite love".
  • He described the event as an ultimate union with God, transcending a mere physical or mental perception. It was an ecstatic, unifying experience.

The meaning of the "Man"

For Goddard, this was not an ordinary man, but God revealed in human form. This reflects his core belief that "Man is God" and that the human imagination is the divine creative power. He asserted that God is not an abstract force but a human, personal presence.

Context within his larger message

Goddard's purpose in sharing this story was to convey his spiritual journey and the core of his teachings. He used this experience to explain:

  • That God, as pure creative power and love, is experienced as Man.
  • That his teachings were not based on theory but on direct, personal experience.
  • That the union with God is the ultimate human destiny. (End quote.)

God says that the Man is real. I know that the Man is real because of His responses specific to me. In the vision I had during my baptism in the Holy Ghost I experienced fusing with the man I now inhabit. I believe that in like manner the Man the Milta (Miltha) eternally is fused with a man who is now our Christ--Emanuel, "With-us-is-Eil"; i.e., God in the flesh. By the flesh the Milta--the Becoming God--became our substitute and sacrifice unto God for the sins we have committed--payment in full. God says the Becoming God is real, and our experience says the Becoming God is real. And He is a Man. Find Him in your imagination, and embrace Him. For the guy is REAL.
