Answer to Kay
I would like to respond (below) to this comment I received from Kay on my post, "Belief: The Force Of The Field That Makes Real":
Hi Dan,
Wow I think it's been 7+ years since the last time I visited your blog. I was just thinking about it today wondering if you were still posting and you are! It seems a few years ago I got inadvertently drawn and trapped into a state of "rug pull." Long story short: I've been trying for about a decade to manifest some prosperity, upward mobility, so that I could stop living in dumps and finally own my own home. For years I've known of the story Neville told of the woman who went to bed claiming "Isn't it wonderful" and then received a giant sum of money out of nowhere that she was able to live off of. The thing is, it's just a story. We don't know if it ever actually happened in reality. A few years ago a friend of mine convinced me that this investment opportunity was my bridge of incidents.. though he's more "angels and spirit guides" and less Neville, he thought this was my bridge. We both lost everything (for me that wasn't much) in what turned out to be a Ponzi. My life has been one rug pull after the next since then. I'm very curious to read any of your own conscious creation successes. I know people frequently default to saying well everything is a manifestation from the state you're in. But I'm talking about specifically choosing something that you wanted and manifesting it. When I say "thing" I am not limiting this to objects. It means a desired outcome. Do you have your own personal testimonies of manifesting very specific outcomes Neville style? Imaginal act, fourth dimensionally, the Western gate, etc? Most people I have known in Neville circles for the last probably 13 years I think it's been since I discovered Neville don't have actual testimonies. Or they have one. I have maybe three, very small insignificant and not life-changing things. Thank you :)
Kay

Dear Kay,
Thank you for checking in again, and thank you for this question: "Do you have your own personal testimonies of manifesting very specific outcomes Neville style? Imaginal act, fourth dimensionally, the Western gate, etc.?" I thank you because this question opens up a good can of worms (can of good worms?) I desire to address. The post you commented on, Belief: The Force Of The Field That Makes Real, was written at least partially to address these, eh, "worms". Your experiences as noted in your comment also suggests another "worm" to be addressed, our living in worlds without God. And still another matter, the Milta's intent (which intent is also that of the Ineffable, which I will tell you up front is to make us into It).
If you review my more recent posts you will see that I have returned to espousing Pentecost. This is not a departure from Neville's opinions, ideas and philosophy, but is more an assertion of them. I am enjoying and greatly appreciating manifestation in my life, but I have never in my life said an affirmation or vividly imagined an object or outcome I desired to manifest except in prayer. I HAVE made my desires known unto myself and to God, but it has always been dependent upon Him to open doors and guide me through them.
I think the problem with Neville's technique is that people really just want easy magic and to be in control directing their lives. It's like they are trying to buy what they want from the universe by offering their interest and psychic energies. Most do not consider that Neville was a Christian Bible teacher. The whole of what he taught has to be understood in that context. He was a Bible teacher talking to Christians. Yes, he was heavily influenced by Abdullah's Kabbalistic teachings, and yes, he did stress that the Bible is not literal-historical, but he also said emphatically that every word of it is true. You've got to put these two together. The Bible is illustrative stories--not literal-historical--about spiritual dynamics and qualities that are REAL. When I say that belief is the force of the Field that makes things real, I do not mean our the power of our imaged belief, but belief in the power and faithfulness God has to fulfill His Word. It isn't magic; we put our confidence in Him Whom we know.
Manifestation is God's response to our beliefs. It is feedback on our lives, His posting of how we are doing for His purposes. HIS purposes. God's only real purpose is the Millta (Miltha). I hold that the Milta is God's assumption of His own manifestation. He has assumed It is real, that He IS manifest, so that Manifestation is . . . but It still has to harden into fact! God's likeness has to be engendered in us in reality and has to be cultivated into maturity. The Ineffable's becoming fully manifest is a process, and its focus, Life in Jesus Christ, the "Life-giver," depends on quality of belief. Our lives tell us how we're doing.
The deconstruction and deconversion of Christians is an ongoing phenomenon. I hear the same thing from many deconverts: "There is no evidence of a historical Jesus Christ." The evidence comes when you humbly surrender your life (His Life!) to Him and in great humility submit to His lordship over you. When He accepts you with the infilling of the Holy Ghost, then you have evidence. You have evidence again when He speaks to you, answers your questions with illumination, provides for your needs, protects you, guides you, heal you, and uses you as a channel of His spiritual power. Life itself is His manifestation, if you are looking from a Christian perspective.
Life was supposed to be wonderful, but we screwed up in the Garden. It is an illustrative story of great spiritual reality. The spiritual reality is we want God-like qualities for ourselves under our own control separate from submission to God. This has caused death, the state we are born in. We disbelieved what God said. Now He says something else, that Jesus has made a way to forgive us IF WE WILL REPENT AND BELIEVE. It is an illustrative story of great spiritual reality. He accepts belief in the story as belief in the spiritual reality. The story is that Jesus has redeemed us by His life and scourging and death on the cross--100 percent complete. Accepted, we are back to the reality before we ever doubted. All fresh, clean, and sparkly, and living in evidence.
