The Becoming God

The Bible is a Success Manual Unto What? A Venting

I find quite a bit of tension in writing this blog. I admit to feeling dismay and discomfort. Dissettlement: people aren't getting it. Not the blog, but in manifesting. Oh, I will slog through, for I see that this is the process God has arranged. History is replete with examples, premier among them the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which while it may not have happened as described, what did happen is still the premier historic example of missing the boat (the Jewish leadership rejected the Anointing of the Holy Spirit occurring among their people, and the nation was destroyed).

My problem is that I am already a baptized in the Holy Spirit tongue-speaking Pentecostal who sees God behind every fulfilled imagining, and I am dealing with people who only see manifestation as a process wherein they can possibly get whatever they want. I encourage people to practice the law because it is biblical and effective, and because when it works they have evidence of God's wisdom and power. But people only want to know. . . how do I get things?

It is like they are hypnotized or something. Here is demonstrated proof of the presence and power of God, and they are like, "Cool. I want a motorbike next." Huh? Hellooo? And then there are the Law of Attraction advocates saying the agency is just a neutral force in the universe, nonjudgmental and nonpersonal vibration. Sure talks a lot for a vibration who is "nonpersonal." Oh, yeah, you have to be willing to listen to hear.

God is a guy with a purpose. Himself is his purpose, that he may become more and better manifest than he already is. Jethro is our interest. Jethro is, in my opinion, success in all the blessings of God's abundance. If that is ticking in in your life . . . from whence does it come?

Bill Donahue said in one of his videos that one of the reasons he left his Charismatic church ministry was that the people who fell under the power of the spirit (called "slain in the spirit") were just as messed up when they got up as they were when they went down. Maybe not quite, Bill. Now they had evidence that God was real and there. It may take time to sink in -- a lot of rock is not porous -- eventually God may find a crack to get through.

As a Pentecostal I have been slain in the spirit. I have had people fall when I touched them. I have been healed and know people who have been healed. I cannot imagine experiencing miraculous demonstrations of God's power without becoming conscious of Him. Yet, is this interest in the law and manifesting leading people into the baptism in the Holy Spirit? Neville repeatedly encountered God. He experienced ecstasy and being fused with Love, a Man who was Love. In his late lecture "Imagination" (7/14/1969), Neville flew into the moon only to find the cheapest -- cheap beyond measure -- clay items being sold to tourists. If you are going to shoot for the moon, don't be a tourist.

A Quick Note to Be Nice: Leave the Fulfillment up to God

I apologize for sitting on this while attending to other procrastinations. That was a joke. I am trying to figure something out, and contemplation interferes with execution. Asked Be Nice,

If you can include in your post, something that confuses me a little.

Many teachings said...Let "God" decide for you but Neville, and also you said...You imagine how you feel if your wish has already fulfilled and let the Father give it to you!

I agree but sometimes I listen to something on YB, or I read some posts that saying...
Just feel happy and let God give what is better for you...Actually this is LOA's teachings and non-duality stuff...

It's the same? I imagine just getting the feeling of fulfilled of the thing I want, or I can imagine I eat let's say my preferred food in my favorite restaurant, and this generates happy feelings in me, and this energy came back to me with some other form and gave me happiness?

I confuse you :)

If I did sorry, I hope you understand what I am trying to say :)

Thanks with all my heart!

Neville sometimes warned that when you create your desire though causative imagining, you had better be prepared to abandon the life you now inhabit, because the fulfillment of your desire may in another (but better) world. For example, you may imagine a promotion or higher level of sales and suppose you will get them in the company you presently work with, only to find yourself canned on on the street. "Hey, wassup with this!?" Then a new opportunity arises and you find your fulfillment after all the turmoil and chaos. Stay loyal to the effect you created. It is up to God to come up with the apppropriate cause. Bon appetit!

If Foot is Sex in Genesis, What are Feet in the New Testament?

In Genesis 32:24-32, Jacob wrestled with the Man through the dark night before meeting up with Esau the next day. I noted in a recent post that this wrestling insinuates both the male and the female aspects of both characters. Both Jacob's and the Man's creative members are alluded to: Jacob's "sinew" having gone limp and his clutch on the Man's "foot." This was, by the way, Jacob's (the inner man's) wrestling to create a paradise in his mind in the context of his hellish situation. Together these men gave birth to a new Esau.

Suzanne asks how I might then understand references to feet in the New Testament, especially Luke 7:38, John 13, and Matthew 10:14. Before I go anywhere, I repeat: phallic and sexual references and allusions in scripture have nothing to do with sex, but everything to do with spiritual creative power. It just recently occurred to me that that is what the biblical word 'bless' alludes to: "I will bless you," means give creative power to your imagination. I am a slow learner.

I think Suzanne has seen my take on Neville's understanding of Exodus 3:5, where Moses was told to take the sandles from his feet because the ground he stood on was holy ground. Shoes are insulators, they mediate our contact with the ground. The passage has nothing to do with shoes, feet, or ground. Moses was meditating on the source of Jethro -- success -- and God broke in. He likes to do that. He was simply saying that this was an experience of bedrock spiritual reality holy unto God; i.e., for His purpose. "This is the real thing, the real nitty-gritty, the substance of the really real reality -- God's consciousness. Don't bring any of your own stuff into it."

So Moses' "feet" were his contact points with this reality, his mental perceptions of it. Go with the flow, Moses.

What are Jesus' feet in Luke 7:38? The same as Exodus 3:5. Simon is our spiritual hearing. Great signs and wonders were being performed by Jesus, and the Pharisees turned a deaf ear to them. The whore in us got it: she understood that "When it works, you have found him," and humbly submitted herself to God's nitty-gritty, which Jesus is. The picture is a bit mixed up, she keeps her shoes on, Jesus is the ground, incense for worship and holiness, Simon for Moses, but it is all there. Luke just didn't think of having her walk on Jesus' back.

John 13 is Jesus stipping down and washing the feet of his disciples. Note Simon again. Disciples, as I understand them, are our mental and spiritual faculties. Their feet are our perceptions of reality, our real contact with it. And we find the same allusion in Matthew 10:14, ideas and teachings that are not kosher, get them off of your feet, your perceptions of God's reality.

Why is 'foot' in Genesis 32 a phallus and 'feet' elsewhere our mind's contact with consciousness reality? In Genesis 32, foot is a substitute word. Gotta clean it up. The ancients weren't prudes, but you can't be reading porn to the kids.

Suzanne wonders what all this feet stuff in the New Testament means to us. "For me, it's as if we are to cleanse ourselves of this world, let go of its hold on us, to unite with God. Is this meditation? Is this praying in the spirit? I do not know for certain, but welcome your interpretation."

In a word, Suzanne, yes. 'E', All of the above. It is realization that there is the One with Whom we have to do, AND THAT HE IS NOT APART FROM US. It is ordering our valuations and priorities and actions according to His presence within us. Now you have me preaching to myself: "The Holy Ground is within, you see His actions, do you hear the children, Simon?" It is okay to have things, to succeed, but recognize that "All of man's ambitions are like clay. They will all turn to dust" (Neville: Imagination). Focus more on being more like God. That means adopting his characteristics as your own. Love, kindness, patience, helps, imagining good for people, teaching, sharing. I said in a reply to your comment that there is a new age of faith coming. I think God is hoping my readers will be it.

Focusing on Clarity

In July, 2015, I posted "CLARITY: A Big Part of Neville Goddard's Secret of Imagination." Be Nice asked me to expand especially on the idea, "The Ineffable is imagining us. Our vision, our experience of reality, is Its imagining."

The basic premise is in every of Neville's books and lectures: "Man is all Imagination, and God is Man, and exists in us, and we in Him. The Eternal Body of Man is the Imagination, and that is God Himself” (Blake). God became man that man may become God. When it works, you have found him, God, and that he is your own, wonderful, human imagination.

I think much of the incomprehensible, invisible, and eternal Ineffable Most High, the Source of all things Who has become man. It has intelligence that is power to become what it believes it is ("can you spell 'faith'?"). THAT Being imagined all that shall ever be, including you and me. I am jazzed right now with the idea that all our freewill choices, and yes they are freewill, were foreknown. Else how could the torah codes exist? We are free to go any direction, and we do, but he already knew that. Must be really good at chess.

The Ineffable created the universe and all its history (hence Christ IS risen) BEFORE the Big Bang. All the frames are already in the movie. And It did this exclusively by IMAGINING. Then It imagined It was matter and BAM!, there was matter to facilitate all the EXPERIENCES It imagined. It imagined the experiences we are having and is guiding us through them like a football player directing a soccer ball. We get kick around and then, "Goal!" But the thing is, It is imagining the imagining we are right now experiencing as our imagination in our heads. The Ineffable is nations and multitudes of people's imaginings as Christ throughout eternity. There is zero distance between the Ineffable Most High's imagination and our thought (and anything else for that matter). Our worlds are out-picturings of Its Imagination; there is not anything but It. It isn't that everything is imagined and therefore does not exist; it's that Its imagining is so powerful that what it imagines DOES exist. It imagines very clearly. And our imagination has the same power as the Ineffable's Imagination INASMUCH AS WE ARE LIKE THE INEFFABLE. I think this is where we are going with all this over the long run.

I was inspired back in July of 2015 probably by Neville's lectures "Secret of Imagination" and "What Are You Doing Now?" The first five paragraphs of the latter below:

Many times I have heard someone say: "I believe that imagining creates reality, but I once imagined something and it never came to pass." Then I ask: "What are you doing, saying, 'I once imagined it,' and not imagining it now? For God's name is I AM, not I did! Always thinking of God as someone outside of himself, man finds it difficult to keep the (present) tense, but God is the human imagination and there is no other God.

When you imagine you may include others, but do not think in terms of influence. Rather, think only in terms of clarity of form.

Perhaps a friend would like a better job, more money, and greater responsibility. Before you imagine, take a moment and clarify the form your imaginal act will take. Are you giving the celebration party or is he? Who will be there? Fill the room with those who would want to share in the celebration. Raise your glass and say: "Here's to your fabulous new job, your salary increase, and the challenge of your greater responsibility!" Don't think in terms of trying to influence the friend's boss, for he could die or be discharged. Just go to the end. Toast the event, and do not think of influencing others.

The law, to be effective, needs feeling with form. Build a structure that would imply your desire is already fulfilled, and enter its form with feeling. You do not have to be concerned about influencing others, as they are not the cause - your imaginal act is! Those who have a billion dollars are not causing your world. You and you alone are doing it, as your imaginal acts influence people. Everyone is yourself pushed out, so when you imagine, you are influencing yourself!

Knowing what you want, place your attention on its clarity of form, and then watch what you are imagining. Are you remembering when you imagined something greater than what you have? If so, you are confessing you are not now imagining your desire fulfilled. If imagining creates reality, you must change your memory and become aware of what you are imagining right now.

Do not concern yourself with whether your freewill choices are foreknown or not, or whether you are upsetting the celestial apple cart. Believe your freewill choice IS the existence in your history It has foreknown. Answer the question, "What would it be like if it were true?" Take a suggestion from The Great Learning by Confucius: investigate all things. If you were the person you wish you were, what would you see, hear, feel, taste, smell, feel emotionally, sense time-wise -- I.e., WHAT WOULD THAT WORLD BE? Imagine THAT clearly in your imagination with the sense, the feeling that it IS real.

The word I got the other day was that the same power is in all the folds of the Ineffable. The Ineffable is imagining it all, and all is It. It has given the spirit that is Its imagining to Man: "But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it" (Deuteronomy 30: 14). That is, It has given us consciousness of this existing fact. So if our imagining is Its, we should be able to imagine as It does, clearly and with belief, with the concomitant result that what we experience as an EFFECT will have its CAUSE (the Law of Reversibility).

The important thing in all this is finding God. The physical sort of things we may desire and attain are quite worthless apart from discovering the reality and purposes of God. Get THAT clear!

On the Ancient Biblical Meaning of 'Bless'

My purpose here is not to belabor any sexual connotation in the scriptures but to encourage all readers in faith. The Ineffable Most High Whatever-It-Is is becoming, increasing, and expanding through all universes by the power and wisdom of Its imagination, and we are on board with that. By "on board with that" I mean that there is no separation or division between Its creative imagination and ours, regardless of our apparent limitations: Its imagination -- the Ineffable Most High No-thing's imagination -- is ours.

On March 18, 2017, I posted "Prayer as You May Never Have Seen It: Neville Goddard's Feminine Aspect in 'The Forming of Christ in You' and Genesis 32:24-32," regarding a surprising insight I had of Jacob's "dark night" wrestling with the Man. Jacob, the inner man, had sojourned with Laban learning the techniques of causative imagining. Returning to Esau, the flesh and life in this death, Jacob gets a graduation exercise in which he has to employ both male and female aspects of causation. When Jacob says, "I will not let you go unless you bless me," he was saying, "not until you embue my desire with your power and make it pregnant." He was forcing the issue a bit. This is whitewashed phallic imagery the point of which is God's generative power unto success is within us. (The Man had not come from anywhere else and was not going anywhere else; He is with us always as the power of God within us to "bless" our imaginings, to make them pregnant with Its seed. We are projections within Him.)

I say that we are an imagic world, and the obvious correlative illustration to the generative power of the Life-giver is sperm. By it we increase and have expansion. In Genesis 1, the Man is blessed, i.e., given this power. I found this odd but insightful article online (link is below):

In the Judeo-Christian scripture called בראשית (Berashith) or Genesis is a statement that is often quoted but rarely understood.

This is how it has been studied in English for many centuries:

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply..." - Genesis 1.

Since this verse was originally written in Hebrew, the meaning can be found in the Hebrew words and letters. Let us look at a more accurate translation that preserves several key Hebrew words.

First, however, it must be understood that the Hebrew scripture does not have the word "God," as written in English. Instead, the entire first chapter of Genesis refers to אלהים Elohim. The Hebrew word Elohim is plural, and is derived from El (God) united with Eloah (Goddess), forming the plural Elohim, which means "God and Goddess" or "Gods and Goddesses." Therefore, Genesis or creation is a work of Gods, male and female, which is only natural, since all other forms of creation are sexual, too.

"Then אלהים [Elohim] said, “Let Us [God and Goddess] make Adam in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let [Adam] rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Elohim created Adam in their own image, in the image of Elohim [they] created Adam; male and female [in other words, androgynous] Elohim created [Adam]. And Elohim blessed them [the nephesh chaiah], and Elohim said unto them, 'Be fruitful, and multiply [רבה]...'" - Genesis 1:28.

The second important point here is that Adam is created in the image (tselem) of the Elohim: male-female, in other words, as an anqdrogynous being. Only later is Adam divided into two sexes. Thus, the command given in this passage is not for those who are already divided into two sexes (such as you and me).

Finally, the English translations render רבה as "multiply," but the word itself is actually "Rabbi." Therefore, the command is correctly interpreted as an instruction given to the androgynous Adam -— or those who have restored that level of spiritual development in themselves by returning to Eden and solving the mistake made by Adam and Eve -— and that command is: "Be fruitful, be a Rabbi (a Master)."

http://gnosticteachings.org/faqs/scripture/1760-what-does-be-fruitful-and-multiply-mean.html

I thought Rabbi meant teacher, but apparently it means increaser, one who has power to bless and the authority to rule, to exercise dominion. One way to do that, of course, is to teach! (See Strong's Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary 7227 and 7231.)

God and Goddess, by the way, are not two external beings. 'Eil' (not El) is the Supreme Being, the Source of All, and 'Eloah,' the Goddess, is Its ONENESS with us (see Jesus and the Lost Goddess by Freke and Gandy). You might say that the desire of the Ineffable for form was the Mother of God, our Mom!

Says Neville in "The Ultimate Sense," "Things are what God thinks they are. He thinks He is you . . ." So think you are Him, and think what you will. You are Abraham, the Merciful God; and you are Isaac, the Laughter of Joy, the Promise Come; and you are Jacob, the Supplanter. Supplant! It is okay, as long as it is within the Golden Rule. The power is within -- Israel -- God ruling as man.

Along these lines I found another site that defined the word 'bless' well, as living life to the fullest:

Exodus 3: 14 and Isaiah 55: 11: The Bible Begins With the Key to Success

The Bible starts with Moses' discovery of how prayer works (from God's revelation): "Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh." I.e., God orchestrates and actually becomes the fulfillment -- success -- of our beliefs. That is His "form." The Ineffable Himself comes not in bi-location but in the manifestation of our conviction. "Such will be my words, [the words] that emerge out of my mouth and return not to me in vain (emptily), except they do the thing that I desire and accomplish what I send them for" (Alexander). His "words" are our beliefs, our imaginings, so Isaiah 55: 11 is ours to claim.

Prayer As You May Never Have Seen It: Neville Goddard's Feminine Aspect in "The Forming of Christ in You" and Genesis 32: 24-32

I never put these two together before in quite this way: the female aspect in both God and man in the forming of Christ in us as described in Neville Goddard's lecture "The Forming of Christ in You," and the dark night of Jacob as described in Genesis 32: 24-32. Note that in Genesis (per Alexander) "the Man wrestled with him (Jacob) until the break of dawn," and could neither overpower Jacob nor extricate his "foot" from Jacob's clutches; and Jacob walked away "aware of his legs" (that he was spent).

There was not a physical man there grappling with a smooth skinned guy. This is euphemistic of an intense imagining likened to the joyous, passionate wrestling of sex (foot = phallus). Jacob in his imagining was insisting on receiving the Creative God's seed to impregnate his imagining. Remember, Jacob's time with Laban was his learning techniques of causative imagining. While he definately was in a situation he did not want, he intensely imagined what he DID want (and it was not sex: while in a hell, Jacob imagined a paradise). Like Adam, who had the feminine Eve within him, Jacob was found "capable," the act was consummated, and Jacob became limp . . . in the world he desired. The story is about the forming of Christ within us.

From Neville Goddard's lecture "The Forming of Christ in You" (06/23/69):

"In telling the story, Paul speaks of predestination - not of the outer man, but of the inner man. Listen to his words carefully: 'Though they were not yet born and had done nothing either bad or good, in order that God's election should continue, not because of works but because of his calling, he made one he loved and one he hated saying, "Jacob I love, and Esau I hate."' They had not yet been born and had done nothing that was either good or bad, but in order for God's election to continue he loves the one he calls and hates the other.

"Now Jacob, he who is called and loved by God, becomes Israel; so you see, Israel cannot be those who are descended from Abraham in a physical state. 'Israel' is the inner man, the feminine part of your nature. I have seen that inner man and know he is my own wonderful human imagination. That inner man is he who is loved by and wedded to God. 'Your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. The God of the whole earth he is called.'

"Your human imagination is the Israel of scripture. That's your inner man, the feminine part of your nature, to whom God is wed. It is to your imagination that God cleaves, and leaves all until the two of you become one. It is in this sphere that Christ is formed. He is the son, bearing witness to the union of your human imagination and the creator of the universe.

"Your imagination is God's emanation, yet his wife, till the sleep of death is past. But how will he know that this union is productive? By the forming of Christ in you, for your son is your hope of glory!

"God hates Esau - the outer man whose senses anchor him to his financial, social, and educational world; but he loves the one within - who can, in the midst of hell, visualize harmony, health, and success.

"The Lord of the whole earth is omnificent, with unlimited sperm. He so loves you - his wife, that if you dare to assume anything that Esau - the outer you - denies, he will accept your vision and give it to you; for your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.

"Your human imagination is God's emanation, his wife that he cleaves to until you become one reality. Desiring your union to be productive, the Lord asks you this question: 'If a son honors his father and I am a father, where is my honor?' When that son is completely formed there will be an explosion and he will come out. But by then he is not the son of a little bride and the fabulous Lord of Lords. No. Your son appears, to show you that you are now the one being that man worships as the Lord.

"So, in this world that profound story of the twins is not understood because it does not make sense, but it is so very practical. The outer world may tell you that you can't have what you want, that you do not have the necessary education, experience, or means to achieve your goal. But your husband hates that outer you, and loving his bride, your human imagination, he gives you whatever you want.

"You may think you are secure because you own property or have money in the bank; but your only security is in your Maker, who is your husband. He is the Lord of the universe and loves his emanation, your human imagination (who is clothed in outer flesh called Esau). He hates Esau and loves his Jacob, his Israel, who will one day rule as God.

"So carefully define what you want, then trust your lover - who is the Lord of the universe - by accepting his gift of it as a completed fact. Walk in the assumption you have what you want, and let your husband give it to you.

"Now, you will discover that Christ is not only formed in you, but by you, for - being united with the Lord - you are one with him. If the Lord forms his son in his bride by cleaving to you until you become one being, and he is forming Christ, are you not forming Christ, too? He is formed in you and by you in that one body, the human imagination. In all the revelations that await you, none is so fundamental as the revelation of Christ in you. His beauty is indescribable, and you will know that he is your eternal son who now honors his Father.

"If you are a man, don’t be ashamed of speaking of this being in you as feminine, for it is more you than what you see reflected in the mirror. Your awareness is the bride of the Lord. She can't conceive without the embrace and seed of her husband. So Israel owes his uniqueness to his covenant marriage. Christ is formed from that union and a new state is born. Jacob (desire) becomes Israel (fulfillment) when David reveals himself as your son.

"The story told in the 25th chapter of Genesis - which doesn't make sense to the outer, reasonable you - is understood perfectly by your inner, powerful imagination. Rebecca struggled within herself, just as you do and I do; and she was told of the conflict between the outer reasonable mind (called the elder) and the human imagination (called the younger).

"Now, make the elder serve the younger. Your elder, reasonable power will say it can't be done, it's impossible; but when it is done he adjusts to it. Esau will tell you that you cannot own a certain home because it is beyond your means. But your imaginal power moves in and so occupies the home, the outer one sleeps in it and adjusts very nicely to the change. Esau will resist everything Jacob desires because he can't believe it is possible. He does not know that Jacob - the feminine part of your nature - is wedded to the Lord, and the Lord so loves his wife that he has left all thoughts of another and is making the two of them one.

And etc.:

This is the most practical thing you would ever hear. Test your Self, he who is forming Christ in you, by conceiving a scene which would imply the fulfillment of your dream. What would you see if it were true? What would you hear? What would you do? Now, begin to look, hear, and do it all in your imagination; and when you go to bed tonight, sleep as though it had already come to pass.

Always bear in mind that God is a protean being. He can appear in many forms. A friend and father of five children came to see me the other day. One of his little girls has a pet rabbit, a doe, who was sick. She asked her father to ask me to pray for it. This I did. The following week the vet treated the rabbit and it is now home and well.

The following morning, the father saw a tall man standing at the foot of his bed, whose head was that of a rabbit. Then he spoke saying: "Thank you for helping my people.” The vision was so real the father said to himself: "This must be “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, but I am seeing a rabbit instead of a donkey."

Now, who do you think wore the form? God. He sends himself in everyone that he sends, and the one sent is one with the sender. He too then is protean, and can assume any shape or form. My friend asked for help and received it, and is now encouraged to believe all the more.

Like all fathers he could use more money to buy clothes, food, and pay for an education for his children. Now he knows what happened and will not forget it. He saw the one sent, clothed as a rabbit, but it was in the form of Man, for God is Man and he was thanked for helping his people.

This is how God speaks to all to encourage faith, for by faith all things are made and faith is simply loyalty to unseen reality. If you imagine a state, it is unseen by others, but if you assume it is true, your husband - who is a god of truth - will give it to you. He so loved you he became you, and when you imagine, he imagines. Then one day the fusion will be complete and then there will no longer be you and God: you will know yourself to be God, who actually became you that you might become God. This is the story of scripture.

Now, God does not become this body of flesh. It is Esau - the hairy outer form - he hates. He is in love with Jacob - the human imagination - who is the subjective, feminine part of your nature. So don't be ashamed to admit there is in you that which is feminine and loved by God, for only by fusion with this feminine part of your nature can Christ be formed.

Start now to use your talent, which is your imagination. Use it consciously every day, for any time you use your imagination you are pleasing God; and when you do not use it God is displeased. You don't have to sit down and burst a blood vessel pounding out the details of your desire. You can imagine as you walk down the street.

A simple assumption is easy and can be lots of fun. A friend called today to thank me for aiding her in the selling of her home. It was an enormous house in Highland Park, which had been empty for sometime. She had hired a lady to go to the house and do some cleaning there, when a man came to the door and asked to buy it. Two weeks later the house was sold. What did I do? I imagined hearing her tell me the house was sold. That's all I did. There was nothing else I needed to do; for all things are possible to God, and he so loves me he abides by any request I make of him.

Try it. You will never disprove God's law; and the more you consciously use your imagination, the more you please your husband, for you are wedded to the God of the universe - He who is omnificent to achieve any purpose, be it the sale of a house or the health of a rabbit. Certainly it matters little to me if the rabbit lived or died, but the child wanted me to pray for it. I know there are many rabbits and she could have had another had this one died; but she wanted this one, so I didn't modify her request. Do not modify the request of another if it is within your ethical code, and certainly her request came within my ethical code.

So, the Risen Lord can appear as the Spirit of Holiness or the Spirit of Love. When my Father fused himself with me he appeared as the Spirit of Love, but he sent me wearing the form of power. That is the part I have played most of the time. Martha, who has now gone from this sphere, saw me as power. That, too, was done for a purpose, so that Martha would know the power of truth. But on this level of my being I am just a normal man with the human weaknesses of any outer man. Money doesn't give you power. They just buried a man who possessed millions. He left behind $500 million, and could not take one million of it with him. He is now probably the richest spirit in the graveyard.

Now, the story of Paul begins in the 8th chapter of the Book of Acts, but his name does not appear until the beginning of the 9th. In the 8th, a eunuch is reading the 53rd chapter of the Book of Isaiah, when Philip approached him, and said: "Do you understand what you are reading?" and he answered: "How can I without a guide?" Then Philip interpreted the chapter on the suffering servant, and the eunuch - not understanding - asked: "Is the prophet writing about himself or another?"

Isaiah was not writing about a man of flesh, but was telling an eternal, immortal story. God himself is the suffering servant. He so loves you, he will not alter your imagination. If you imagine some horrible thing he will fulfill it, and because you have to experience all that you imagine he will suffer with you. Always allowing you to imagine, be it wisely or unwisely, he fulfills it with you. That is your suffering servant. But in the end, having gone through hell with you - the one he loves most - he rejoices, for when he comes out he and his emanation are one. This story makes no sense if seen only on the page of a book. It must be experienced to be understood.

Let me put this in a simple way: Tonight, when you look in the mirror, you will see Esau. The one who is looking in the mirror is Jacob. The word "Jacob" means "to supplant." Jacob can supplant his physical reflection by replacing the one there with one he desires to experience. Loving Jacob, the Lord will mold Jacob into the likeness of what he is seeing, and you will become what you have been beholding.

Now, I have told you that when a man dies he finds himself in a terrestrial, solid, and real world like this one. The lady who saw me in the crucified form told me of seeing her mother (who has been gone from this world many years) as a young girl. Her mother spoke and introduced her to her present husband. Now this lady knows from experience that there is no death, but worlds within worlds, where people marry, grow old, and are just as afraid to die there as they are here, until the union is complete. Then there is no need for any marriage, for they are married to the Lord and are one with God. When the two become one flesh, there is no need for any marriages. But until the son of God bears witness to this union, man leaves this world to enter another, to marry and continue the struggle, just as it is done here.

I am telling you the truth. I take the Bible and let my intuition play upon it, then the meaning comes to the surface. Scripture will last forever in the form in which it is written because of its simplicity. But its revelations will not come unless you dig for the words’ deeper meaning.

One day you will know why I am telling you about the forming of Christ in you, for of all the revelations this is the most fundamental. There is no other way for you to know that you are God. You can be split in two from top to bottom, come out of the grave of your skull, and find the little child who symbolizes your birth from above - but you will still not know you are God the Father.

Only when you find the Christ which was formed in you will you know who you really are. Then you too will decree to David: "Thou art my son. Today I have begotten thee." No one has ever seen God, but the son who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known. When Christ appears it is because he has been formed in you, by you, because by then you have been born - not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man - but of God. You will know you are Spirit and your son is Spirit, and together you form the Lord Jesus Christ.

There isn't one nth part of one per cent who will accept this, but I will not change it one iota because I know the day will come when everyone will experience it. Then their married state will be over. They will know they have only one husband, who is their very self. This coming of marriage is your redeeming power, for your husband - the God of the whole earth - is your redeemer. He has been so long with you, yet you have not seen him; but I tell you, when you see me you have seen the Father.

God the Father is Spirit, Imagination - which can take on any form. You meet him, and his outer form is a faint resemblance; but he is the inner one and perfect - while the outer man is only a faint shadow that can never reach perfection.

Bear in mind the sphere in which Christ is formed. It is the inward man - the feminine part of your nature, for it takes woman to conceive. Imagination is the great power and that is the bride of the Lord.

So let every one be bold enough to claim that within him is an eternal woman, who is his bride. He left everything for her, and brought her into himself to make the two one flesh. And to prove that they are mated and one in love, their son appears, bearing witness to that union.

Christ is being formed in you, by you; and when your journey is over you will take off your garment of flesh for the last time and return to the heavenly sphere as God the Father.

Now let us go into the silence.

My last note on this: Jesus (God) and Christ (the inner Man) are one.

A Little Review: As We Think, So Is Our Success

There has been perhaps a little misconstuing of "You do not do it again." We get the idea that we imagine to concrete clarity once, and then wait for manifestation without so imagining again. But there are also the instructions to renounce the present illusion and to remain faithful, loyal to the dream. Therefore, the imagined desire becomes a constant and the present a memory: the initial doing is an infinitive! It isn't that we do not do it again, but that the once does not stop. That is why we must know exactly what we want before we begin, because we are not stopping once we get going; because as we think, so us our success.

Exodus 4:24-26 As You Know It Is Not There

Nothing in Exodus 4:24-26 is anything like what it says, at least not as most people understand it, which is as history. You might not be familiar with the passage: God has just revealed himself to Moses at the burning bush and has told Moses to go to Egypt to free the Israelites from their horrible bondage as slaves -- "Tell Pharaoh, 'Let my people go!'" Here, on the way back to Egypt with his wife and kids, Moses stops at an inn, and God comes to kill him! Moses' wife saves him by circumcising their son and casting his foreskin at his feet -- "I have a bridegroom of blood!" -- so that everything is cool with God. Not your average trip to Egypt.

I see everything as happening within one person, a summary of what he has just gone through psychologically, and from this happening the creation of a success manual. This person had exposure to the ancient myths and religions, and had become a son born of the "waters" of Egypt. He had grown a conscience and an awareness of success, that God operates in the sphere of man to bring about salvation, the provision of whatever man needs to succeed. Sometimes. What is up with that, sometimes? How do we get divine success, salvation (jethro) all the time? This question of the divine provision of success came to bug the heck out of Moses, chirping away in his mind all the time: "How do we get . . . Jethro?!" He withdraws to meditate and to follow the idea of Jethro, and in the meditation he is accosted by God, who wants nothing more in the world than for us to listen and learn about him. "Oye! Finally, a live one, a listener, who acts!"

Yes, Exodus 4:24-26; I'm getting to it.

So God explains to this son born (in Exodus) all the things that are in the book of Genesis: that God is one and has become everything by imagining: "I Myself as Creative Imagining come AS your success" (my personal best translation/interpretation of Exodus 3:14). This is worldview changing news to Moses. He is in a real thing with God. This is not a switch in philosophy; this is an encounter, the real nitty-gritty -- the revelation of the Almighty! Moses is convicted to serve the REAL, here he is -- GOD, with holy devotion OF MIND. Out with the flesh imagination, in with the spiritual imagination (for God's sake, what else can you do?). This is circumcision. Because if all the myths, religions and philosophies of the world are "water," this is BLOOD, Life, the real thing!

Hence Exodus 4:24-26: Moses concludes that this meditation experience was the real deal. Moses was not at an inn; Alexander notes that in the literal sense of the Aramaic, Moses was "between two houses," between the mind of the spirit and the mind of the flesh. He knew that the Lord had accosted him in the meditation for real; and it was to kill the mind of the flesh. It was not a dream or hallucination. This was a new world: everything he thought he knew was wrong, or at least was inadequate as understanding. God wanted him for circumcision, a life practicing the nature of God. That chirping "seek Jethro" which had controlled Moses' mind grabbed God's "feet" or reality (in mental comprehension) and said, "Yes, I accept life in Your Reality and will live circumspectly, devotedly in mind." Mind being imagination. Success is God becoming our salvation THROUGH creative imagining. This creative imagining he has given to the son -- US! It is by our word, which is our expressly imagined intention. Imagine clearly and believe that we HAVE, that it is RECEIVED, and be faithful to the idea that it is intended to have been BEFORE.

No, there was no motel in the middle of the desert, no murderous rampaging God, no emergency clipping of the kid. There was just a man finding resolve to severe holiness and becoming a Pentecostal, all in-house in a son's inner man. The Bible is literal and it is historic, but it is not literal-historical (to be read like a secular history). It is the history of one inner person: you.

Revise Today, Not Tomorrow: A Little Reminder About Neville Goddard's Principles of Revision

You do not want to imply in imagining your desire fulfilled that it will occur tomorrow or at anytime in the future. You are dealing with the PAST. You revise earlier TODAY. What you want, you already HAVE. It is not GOING TO HAPPEN, it ALREADY DID. When it does manifest, you will look back on it. If you expect it to manifest in the future, you will never catch up to it!

Casting Out Spirits for Physical Healing: Steve Stewart on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural

I hope you can find here the links for the youtube.com videos of "A Big Gospel by Steve Stewart" and of Steve Stewart's appearance on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural TV program (sorry, I am on an ipad). If you can find them, they are interesting viewing. Watch Roth's program first. I do not endorse their constant sales pitches, but then again I don't have to make a living off the Gospel.

What I find especially interesting is the notion of casting out spirits for physical healing. I have encountered false spirits and have cast out demons, and I have prayed for and received physical healings, but I have to admit I haven't mixed the two. Mea culpa. Let me suggest that demons are conceptions of ignorance. You have had an experience and are convinced that you have a physical, not a spiritual, condition. This is your ruling conception of yourself. It is a lie; it is a conception, a conception in consciousness, the only reality. If you know who Jesus Christ is, you can cast out the conception -- the "demon" -- and be physically healed.

God is Consciousness: We are God's Conception of Capital 'S' Self

If you understand that Moses was expert in the myths and religions of Egypt and are at all familiar with them (try Ancient Egypt, the Light of the World by Gerald Massey), you might see why Moses was so interested, even obsessed, with jethro. 'Jethro' means "his jutting over." It refers to the super abundance of God, his blessing, receiving "good measure, pressed down, and shaken together." Good stuff and lots of it comes from God -- Allaha. Jethro is Allaha's beneficence. You approach God and there is this mountain of love jutting over ready to topple over on you. The mystery of it was "father-in-law" to Moses, the son born drawn from the waters. Moses wondered about goodness, salvation, rescue, success, increase -- from whence this beneficence? What are the invisible mechanics of it? Moses wondered a lot about jethro. Maybe you do, too.

Moses meditated concentrating his consciousness on the matter to fathom an answer to this problem, and God, the 'His' in 'His jutting over,' gave it to him: "Hi. You do not need an intermediary here. You have reached reality, consciousness, the kingdom, the Original Mind. This is the real stuff, real Life, the Source of your blessed thoughts which have drawn you here. But, eh, your other thoughts have got some problems, and I want to help you with them. I want to heal your head-ball. Stop thinking ignorant world-of-death thoughts and just think this realm's thoughts."

"How can I just think these thoughts and not think my ignorant world-of-death thoughts?" Moses asked. "What is the nature of this realm?"

God answered, "Ahiyeh Ashur hiyeh" (ancient Aramaic according to Victor Alexander's version of Exodus 3:14).

Let's start with 'Ashur,' because I believe the 'a' in 'Ahiyeh' means "I," and the "I" referred to would be Ashur. Ashur is the Creator God of the of Assyrians (Moses was from Egypt, but the Hebrews from Abraham came from Assyria; yes, Abraham is an allegory, but these are lines of thought, not people). 'Ashur,' says Alexander, is the beginning spark that kindles the fire. It is the light, the uncreated Creator who creates everything from nothing.

Ashur is the linguistic equivalent of Elohim, which signifies "Above-the-Flames." Ashur is the power, the Kingdom of God. 'Kingdom' is not a place. Kingdom is "the rank, quality, state, or attributes of a king; royal authority; dominion; monarchy; kingship" (Webster's Dictionary). I.e., the Kingdom of God is the power inherent in the nature of God -- the Ineffable Most High -- that makes It King. This can only be the consciousness of the Ineffable, Its Imagination by which It conceives and speaks forth (by imagining!) all things which are to be into being. The mental conception of God is the "spark" that kindles the fire of each thing's existence.

'Ahiyeh' is the one who comes in his coming, the absolute sense of "the one who comes." It is the eternal presence of the Ever-Present, the never ceasing intent of the comer to come. Who intends to come? The Ineffable in Its consciousness. Its consciousness is ever intending thisward to Its Manifestation.

'Hiyeh' is a related form of the same word, meaning "his coming" (third person singular). 'His' who? Jethro. That is all this has been about. Moses has been tending Jethro's flocks -- thoughts about jethro, the mysterious and blessed increase of God -- salvation, healing, harvest, security, etc.. God just told him that jethro is from consciousness, His consciousness, formed through imagination. Jethro is YHWH -- consciousness -- manifest. It is a conception of Its Self. ITS CONCEPTION OF ITS SELF IS IN OUR HANDS!!! He has put in our minds and hearts and mouths the authority to DO it, and THIS is the Gospel that saved the nation from slavery in Egypt, the Gospel that was proclaimed in the Epoch of Anointing just before the second temple was destroyed: "Repent, and believe the Gospel" . . . first preached to Moses by the Angel of YHWH!

On Neville Goddard's "Consciousness is the Only Reality"

I took The Power of Awareness with me to a long wait, and not wanting to read the logic of the first chapters over again, I started in the back. I often read or reread books that way -- go straight to the conclusion. I read the words "consciousness is the only reality" as if it were the first time I had ever read them. A light went on. "His present situation was only a manifestation of his concept of himself," Neville said. Oh. I had just dealt with an anonymous inquirer who wanted a shopping list of what to do to manifest, as if the cosmos were a giant vending machine: "put in the correct change and down the chute comes your . . . ." We do not do to get things but to become something. We change our conception of self.

I think a lot of us have it all wrong. When Neville says consciousness is the only reality, what he means is that consciousness is the ONLY reality. We tend to think that this world is the one reality and that consciousness, imagination, is myriad fantasies that can become real. It is actually the exact opposite: consciousness is the ONLY reality and this world is myriad illusions of that consciousness. Consciousness is primary. What we normally call reality is but a conception of Self played out from consciousness.

This reflection is but a conception of Self (with a capital 'S'). It is not necessarily your individual self or my individual self. THAT is one of our big mistakes: we think that we are individuals creating our own worlds. We are, but we are all of the same Self. Capital 'S.' Dial down to my post The Prophet Structure: Dealing with the Double Mind. In the comment section I am asked if a child raped imagined that act to create it. Of course not. But the horrendous act was a conception of Self. Some individual's self, and all of our selves together. We are a package. There is ignorance in all of our conceptions of self, some worse than others. What are we to do about it?

When Freedom Barry was accosted in San Francisco by a drunk, he put the principle to work. He imagined the man whole and in need of nothing. Some time later he was greeted by the same man, whole and in need of nothing. We can redeem our brothers and sisters by changing our conception, our consciousness, the consciousness of the Self. We are the operant power of the WHOLE PACKAGE. That is the 'one' -- e'had -- in Deuteronomy 6:4. One that is many. They will agree. So pray.

I said above that I skipped the first chapter of The Power of Awareness. My next post goes back to it.

The Devil and the Holy Spirit are Two Parts of One Act

In the context of an evangelical Pentecostal church long after the evening altar call, I gave my mouth and breath and voice to Jesus. Nothing happened except my realizing he rejected me. I sought to be accepted and came to a point where I gave him whatever it was he was not accepting me for. Long story short: I saw my life up to that point. "I" saw me formed from the mud of the earth. I saw the mud me puzzled by the world before him. The mud me started taking care of things: finding a place to stay; how to be safe, stay alive; find firewood; provide food -- I INVOLVED MYSELF IN TAKING CARE OF EVERYTHING, SUCCEEDING AT LIFE -- and not once did I consider what God had created me for. I never asked why; never said, "Thank you." It was His life, and I had ungraciously absconded with it. I was a thief, a rebel, and I considered myself God's peer.

Where was the Devil? I had just recently encountered a demon who was influencing my life toward possession. I certainly believed in the Devil; I had just met one and had been saved from it by Jesus Christ -- THAT was what had driven me to accept Jesus Christ. But in God's telling of my life, the Devil had been my own ignorance incurred in becoming, in my mind, the mud-man. Satan was stupidity, the adversary of self-induced spiritual blindness.

A very necessary spiritual blindness. Necessary. Essential. Required. This spiritual blindness was the very door "I" as God's consciousness had to pass through to separate me from God-consciousness. For unless God goes away from our immediate awareness of being we cannot make progress as individuals in becoming more like the Ineffable. We are otherwise stuck in following Him and having no real individuality at all. Listen to Neville Goddard's lecture "Unless I Go Away." As God's spirit we did not want to suffer this death, but it is a necessary part of God's wisdom: separate from Him in consciousness to become -- after a very long development process -- more like Him in character. He made ignorance desirable (THAT is all the Serpent is in Genesis). The Devil was the Holy Spirit getting us here.

Once we made the dive in to humanity we were disconnected from consciousness of the presence of God. Here we wallow in the ignorance of this amnesia and the futility of life until the Holy Spirit catches our attention. That does not immediately fix us up again, but we discover from this knock on the head that God is REAL and PRESENT and POWERFUL and INTERESTED. By the Holy Spirit we learn the Law: God's nature and character, currying that nature and character in ourselves. Eventually we learn by revelation and experience in practice that we ARE God sent here for a purpose. That purpose, my friend, is all that matters.

When I realized that I had never asked God for what purpose He had created me -- what was I supposed to do? -- what had He intended me for when He made me, I got no answer. I said, "You are Glorious God; I am a mud-man." I abandoned myself to His disposal. He replied, "Remember this, and it is all right," and I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Ignorance and development, all part of generating the Image of God Most High, Its Manifestation. We are to BECOME Him of Whom We Are OF. No wonder the Holy Spirit is always feminine gender in the scriptures (in the Aramaic, at least). So let me observe: we as individuals are to desire like He desires -- in faith -- and leave it up to Him as to HOW to fulfill. That does not mean we do not do anything, but what we do is submitted to and subject to His/the Holy Spirit's leading. What becomes our nature and real belief becomes manifested as our reflection in our self-created worlds. The experience of our worlds gives us feedback as to how we are doing as God's Image (humility and contrition become real important).

It is an odd tension I discern, to put forth great effort, intensity, and concentration in imagining and love and consideration; and in yielding to the Holy Spirit to do nothing but resign to His will. Yet there seems to be a thrill ahead in it. Well, food for thought.
